exactly how many law series does Sammul have to be in??
I mean, his acting is not bad,
but can't TVB pick other actors to be a lawyer??
I am getting bored with Sammul being the professional types, TVB needs to give him other roles to try....

Another case of TVB lacking appropriate actors for a series. With so many talented actors/actresses leaving TVB each year, there is no way that they can be replaced in time. In every new series, the casting always seems to be a little strange. I hope TVB are promoting the correct people right now, to save future TVB series.

hmm..what is this show about anywya? sammul is going to be a lawyer again? we need to see something fresher. but i like leila tong. haven't seen her for quite sometime.

i agree, tvb is doing too much with adam cheng, they need to calm down with him and get a fresher guy. i like to see more francase ng series

Wow finally a Sammul and Leila series! Hehe I can't wait. While I think Maggie Siu is a very respectable and versatile actress, argh why did TVB put Adam in here? OMG he has so many series already! So I guess the pairings are Adam/Maggie and Sammul/Leila? I hope so, not like in Prince of Shadows with Adam and Tavia.

i doubt sammul's gonna be a lawyer this time... i think it would be adam and sammul his sidekick cause from the title, it seems to be an ancient show like sung sai kit...

Yeah, Adam is the lawyer, Leila is the prosecutor but I don't know about Sammul's role. I heard he will play a guy who comes from a poor family. The cast will be attending costume fitting next week by the way.

Spoilt and rebellious are different. Sammul's character is suppose to be a low-level one, while both his characters in TITS and 'Wong Fei Hung - Master of Kungfu' are pampered rich kid wanting to strike out on his own. Furthermore, both characters are hardly rebellious. One have a pact with his father to let him do whatever he want for a period of time and then go back to help his father in business. Another is so pampered that his parents gave him everything. These 2 can hardly be described as rebellious and hot-tempered.
These are two different types of law series. You can tell from the posters that Liza Wang, Myolie and Sammul Chan are all dressed up in cloaks whereas Adam only has a normal suit on. Moreover, the one with Adam's character solves cases differently compared to "When Rules Turn Lose." That's why it's called "Fei Seung Dai Jong." Oh and I don't want to see Adam and Liza Wang in another series together

Does this series already finished filming? I mean if this drama already come out in DVD?

so glad that sammuel isnt a lawyer this time...seen him in the outfit a bit too much. glad he's not the rich type either...that image of him is getting really repetitive.

yeah what's up with tvb and all their adam cheng series? blade heart, prince's shadow, ETC ETC.. and now this? isn't he like, over the hill? in any case he's not even charismatic or a good actor i feel, so honestly tvb should stop giving him lead roles because that prob costs another more worth-promoting actor his chance! in any case, i hope tvb stop pairing him with young actresses like joyce tang and tavia yeung..please..it's just so wrong

but anyway..minus that this looks rather promising, i think sammul and leila have never paired up before, and it's something diffferent from sammul's usual roles

FYI, Adam only makes ONE series per year compared to SOME ARTISTS. You name it. In fact, "Bar Benders" is the only series he makes this year containing 20 episodes.

Over the hill? I guess over the hill means men over 40 so should all the actors in their 40s need to stop leading in series? Then I can name plenty. It's pathetic. People watch an actor for his performance, not his age (except for a certain people).

Well, in your opinion he doesn't look charming/young and/or doesn't act good but to the AUDIENCE he is attractive enough to get their attention for many years. TVB wouldn't be so stupid to let him lead every series if he doesn't have a huge audience-base.

There are many people who complain about how fast TVB has been promoting the newcomers who cannot act nor sing and how they want the "older" artists to return (the ones who have left TVB). And now you're saying TVB should promote someone else instead of Adam. Oh just in case if you didn't know, Adam is NOT being promoted. He has always been the leading actor for TVB and elsewhere 30 years ago until now.

I don't see anything wrong with pairing up younger actresses with older actors since TVB always does that especially for ANCIENT series, it's a trend, plus it really happened in real life back then in China. As for modern days, it's still happening now in everyday life.



Nope, not yet, it will be done filming by December 25, 2005 or early January 2006 because Adam has some concerts to perform.

yar! Another lawyer series with Sammul again! Haha, I thought he would get tired of it. I don't actually. I quite like him as a lawyer, he is getting better each time. But first series with Leila as a lawyer, seems interesting. Anyway, I'm very sure the girl in the picture is Louisa So, not Maggie Siu.

Leila is going to be in this serie (yes!!!) She has been pairing up with Ron, Bosco, and Raymond; she did an amazing job with them and the chemisty of her with them are amazing, so I am wondering how is the chemistry between her and Samuel?

Anyone know what is Leila's character going to be? I hope her character in this series is not an evil role. Her evil role in Life Made Simple is not very convincing. I think she is more suitable in innocent kinds of character.

well.. after watching the clips i'm anticipating this series even more. it does seem like typical TVB lawyer show but i like the style and feel of it.. indeed a lot trendier and hipper.

Not really Sammul isnt always in a serious role... Like in when in When Rules Turn Loose he was sort of the Funny guy, not so serious and Myolie was the one who was more serious about things... and the same thing about his character in Guts of Man.

I want to watch this series but I'm not too crazy about Sammul's acting. He's improved but he still seems a little weird when he's in his scenes with a female that he likes. He seems a little awkard to me in those scenes.
