The red dress she was wearing, theres something about that episode, her graceful smile. She looked better in traditional then modern.

Now that you have mentioned it, it does seem like they are wearing the same wedding outfit. I know Ah Wong is definitely wearing the same one. Ah Fung,..humm....she did seem to have the same dress, but did she have all those jeweleries? wasn't so sure.
But you know, TVB always recycle their customes all the time...especially the traditional ones and the ancient ones too...hehe...i see same outfits in a few series before too in different actors/actresses....

I wouldn't say she's hot, but she does look pretty...how hot can you get when you're in a chinese traditional wedding dress. I thought she looked much sexier when she had that western wedding dress on...
i thot she looked alrite in the tradition wedding dress...but she looked so much prettier in modern!!!

I think she looked better when she was trying on those white dresses instead. The red dress was not doing it for me at all.

I don't really care that Roger and Jess get married in the end or not, as long as they are together cas their relationship I find runs deeper then just love. Actually I just want a good planned out ending and not some stupid one like the ending of Square Pegs. Okay I was pissed off enough that Jess and Roger didn't end up together but that ending was just plain stupid.

Yep, they got married in episode 27. Ah wong was going in for a surgery...and everyone was scared that he'll die or sth...so Jessica agreed to married him just for the sake, not for true love or anything.....I thought it was kinda dum tho....

Yeah.....I found that both of the ending were kinda dum/stupid.....but what can you expect...I kinda prefer that Jessica would go with Raymond instead....but...guess not.
Kinda off topic here...there's another forum where we can discuess the ending....

It's so funny how many things are so simular to ah wong 1. That actually makes it cute actually. I think I may have to rewatch ah wong 1; think it is a little better but I just hate the ending. Oh well, wish they had a better ending for ah wong 1 like they did for to catch the uncatchable.

I think that she would be even prettier if she wore a actually western wedding dress instead of just the red dress.. but either way she looks good...
Jessica's red wedding dress was so pretty and it made her look so charming, innocent and it was a cute match with Ah Wong's outfit. Her dress gave her a gorgeous Chinese traditional look & it made her stand out alot.

Yeah....i agree...there are more style in western wedding dress compared to the traditional one. I like them both, it would be great if she could have wore two....But guess they didn't really have a lot of money and that the wedding ceremony was held for the people they new in that street/area...all old fashion people...so guess a traditional wedding would be more suitable for them...

It is the same dress. They intentionally used the same outfits this time (as opposed to "discreetly" recycling costumes hoping that the viewers won't notice). I remember when they were filming that scene, there was an article on how they used the same costumes (as a reference to Square Pegs, I guess).

i thought jessica looked reallly pretty in the white dress. but i liked the traditional chinese outfit better because it stands out and it matches with ah wong's chinese outfit too. its so cute how roger and jessica were riding on the decorated bike with the pepsi cans jingling in the back. so cute!!! i love that scene! =)

yeaps..i noticed that too!
and in some ways, i think it's pretty well done...
there's some resemblance to square pegs, yet different...
when i saw the outfit...i was like.."hey! that was what she wore for SP!"
lol..and it certainly doesnt seem like "discreetly" recycling..since it was..in some way...deliberately trying to show us the similarities btw the 2 costumes, i think

Jessica did look good in both wedding dresses...I think it was more so her smile that was just genuine...her make-up isn't really heavy and somewhat neutral which gives her such a natural pretty look...

Hot is a bit exagerated, but looking good would be a better adjective

she looked better in the traditional dress than in the modern one

i did like her in traditional wedding costume more than the modern one, looks like the one she wore in square pegs! if so then that would be quite cute that they managed to slip in a clever reference right at the end

i liked her wearing the modern dress with her hair down. but when her hair was up it matched the red dress really well. they could have worn both dresses tho cause now most wedding receptions the brides change.

I really liked the modern dress but I guess to have a connection to 'Square Pegs' they decided to wear the traditional one. It was cute, I have to admit, almost like a little fairytale when Roger & Jessica rode the bike together through the town and gave out invitations.

I prefered Jessica with the white wedding dress, but I have to admit that she looked pretty in the traditional red dress too. But I find it rather cute how they were riding in the bike.
