Did any of you think that the whole thing bout the kid disappearing and being dead is stupid ? I mean it clearly shows in the trailer that he gets slapped later on in the airport so all the stuff that Michael was doing and looking for him was pointless. No suspense or anything.
britelite
yeah i thought it was pointless after like the 4th episode so i stopped
forever_autumn
Yeah, it shows him being slapped and it also shows him at Miu Kiu Wai's wedding later on too.. so clearly he's alive. haha They should've cut out out the later scenes with him in it, and then that would have created suspense smile.gif

lol~

i never thought of it that way
ang2383
yes i think it was stupid with him disappearing.. but i see the point for having that in the story.. it was to develop the storyline... and yeps i noticed it too when the dad slaps him at the airport later on... so iwas like hey.. the kid didnt go missing afterall

that's why I always think the preview in TVB series is bad bad bad... All I need to do is to watch the preview and I'd know who will end up with who and sometimes what is going to happen dry.gif, it kinda ruins the whole drama for me.

The thing about his son was gone isn't that bad, but they shouldn't show it in the commercial etc.

HAHAHA.. guess it would have been better if they left that part out of the theme video.. BUT I thought it was interesting when they revealed why he had been missing for all those years..

Yeah, TVB shouldn't have shown us what's the ending and the critical parts of the series and keep us wondering where had that child gone to.

I think it's not really logic that his son lost for 2 years but actually he was with the wife. Also, I think that the kid is not 'consistent' as in sometimes love his dad and hated his dad after he slapped him. When the father came back and said he didn't meant to left (didn't want) him, then he smiled and went to his dad. Kinda weird to me...Do you think so? And how old is the kid in the series? It seems that he's big enough to understand about the situation of his mom and real father's death...

Actually I don't like the part when the kid was missing and his father went searching for him...but i enjoy the other cases smile.gif, especially the one with Patrick Tang, such a touching story. I almost cry when the family found out that Michelle had died...

Well even if they didn't showed those clips I could have kinda guessed that since it's tipicle TVB...

Yea, no suspense at all. I stopped watching after the 3rd episode. I just couldn't hang in there.

Well I forgot what the wife's name was but when you see her together with Ben I think the guy's name is in the opening, and you put 2 and 2 together its not hard to figure out. But I still thought this was so much better then RDOV.
pigsgomoo
I guess the main question then was, "How did MICHAEL find out?" There's the suspense.
misz_alice
i know if the mother wanted to son why don't you just tell the father and the father will figure a way out so the kid could stay with them. and they did so muc hthings like the blood of the kid and yelling at the husband about losing the kid meanwhile your hiding it do't you feel guilty doing that!
d2star
THIS always happens in the opening off the shows which i realllly hate.

But... Michael realizes that he can not fullfil the duty of a good dad, its not like he noticed that before...
at first, he really thought he could take care of his son, but later, he realized that he is not a good father, and cannot give what Sing Jai's mother (and his uncle) could give him... which is a happy family
foreverleila
Yeah, I sort of feel that it was pointless fo Michael to have slapped his son because he wanted his son to go with his wife and his biological father.
