i used to like cyndi actually but gradually heard reports of her acting all da4 pai2!!! [means acts as if shes very famous n great n having bad attitude to the media] moreover her songs are all so act cute. she can only sing those songs of heres cos her voice is only suitbale for her songs. if she nvr act in all the shows her company produces i doubt tt she will even be known! if only she would stop acting da4 pai2 n cute den perhaps i will support her again.

i understand how you feel. i agree with you. there are magazines which says that she was as sweet as a honey on screen but off screens, she was a proud girl. i started to like her when her debut ablum was released. at that time, i like her debut ablum songs, i began to like her and there was her 2nd ablum: ai ni. that ablum i am able to accept 50%, then there was her 3rd ablum which i think she acted cute in many songs.
i don't know why, is it only me who feel that; though her voices was sweet in 1st ablum, she did not acted cute. however, i feel that she acted cute in her rest of the ablum.
she will be releasing another ablum in late decemember, i will see how it goes before i said anything about her again. anyway, no offense to cyndi's fans

i was never really a fan, but when i first saw her, it was in the tsunami concert in Taiwan. she was singing along with XiaoZhu and their company. at the time, i found her voice to be very nice and it was strong.
after that, i started to notice her, but there something about her that makes her not likeable. about the news about her being arrogant and stuff behind the scenes, i do believe it. she seems like one of those people..
but i like her singing, not her, so it what she doesn off and on screen has no effect on me.

i don't like cyndi wang. her singing voice is super annoying, and she has very little talent. i saw her performance of the jungiery concert in singapore last. her 'cuteness' was really fake. she was really on my nerves.

i like her debut album. HOwever, after her debut album, her other albums and songs turns me off. For god's sake, she already 20+ year old and she's still singing so childish songs and her voice in the first album is great but why can't she use that voice. She's like acting cute in her other songs. And her dance steps are so kiddy!

her voice is alright- like it's strong, but she shouldn't be singing those childish songs (no offense)! with all her kiddy songs, i was so amazed that she could actually pull off jian ao with sun xiezhi in 2004's westside story. and especially after the media spoke of her being arrogant and da pai, i'm really beginning to dislike this girl (sorry cyndi fans)!

shes 20+ i'm soo surprised she looks around 17? Her acting is crap, I'm sorry if I offended any fans. I watched Heaven's Wedding Gown. UGH I can't stand the...acting. I kept watching because I wanted to know HOW the director was gonna pull off the story. I don't have much to criticize when it comes to her singing, I've only heard 3 of her songs, 2 of them i like the 3rd one is ok (all three of these songs came from the Wedding Gown OST)

I never was a fan of her but I definitely think that she's one of those ppl that appear to be nice on screen but off screen they're actually reli bad. I was browsing through a music shop one day when I thought I saw a clown wearing antelopes on a album cover. When I went to have a closer look,I realised it was Cyndi Wang! What kind of normal person would have deer antelopes pinned onto your head? I guess the freak season just started then.

i really dont know much about cyndi wang...never heard her music, and i've only seen her acting in smiling pasta, but from what i've seen i really don't like her as an actress. because of her i don't even like her character in smiling pasta. i find her voice and expressions so annoying...like other ppl have said, all she does is try to act cutesy all the time, arghhh

I think Cyndi's pretty "zuo zuo" (fake) in her acting and on variety shows, but I don't think she's talentless or un-cute. Yeah, she's a little weird-looking from certain angles, but she has a lot of really cute poses and pictures. Honestly, I don't mind cutesy songs... sometimes I'm really in the mood for them... also, I think that she has a voice that suits those kind of songs. I DO think she's old enough to go back in the opposite direction, back to her first album... but I read in another thread that she drew a lot of comparisons/criticism as a Jolin-wannabe for that, which is why her company made her go the "cute route." I don't know if that's true or not, but the point is that Cyndi and her sound should mature. Her voice isn't half-bad.

As for her acting, I thought her best drama was Wei Xiao Pasta... probably because her acting, in my opinion, really suited the character of XiaoShi. But I agree that her acting needs improvement... her roles can't ALL be cutesy.

Anyway, as to her attitude, she probably does have a problem. I've read quite a few reports about her "shua da pai." Also, I wish she wouldn't carry that cutesy, "zuo zuo" act onto variety shows. The thing about the "weird" face... I also saw that episode of WQYL... I was expecting something really weird, but it turned out to be NOTHING. Gees, even Rainie's chipmunk face is weirder than what she gave.

i'm currently watching Smile Pasta and i think cyndi's acting is okay. i haven't heard too much of her songs so i can't really comment on her singing but i like the songs she sang in Smile Pasta.

Cyndi Wang can be annoying when she tries to act all fakely cute. but there are so many other stars hu do the same, (eg rainie, in my opinion).

Hmm....Cyndi. I dont know what to say, except for the fact that I dont think shes more popular nowadays as compared to before. Her songs are quite boring and the variety of her songs is like, almost the same. Now to dancing, I think her dances are quite cutey-cutey and I'd actualy prefer Jolin's dancing.....but on the good side, I quite enjoyed the drama "WEI XIAO PASTA" in which she acted in.
