Shige funny stories (involving Ryo)

funny story #1:
at the "iitomo" special, my team (busu no hitomi team) and nishikido kun's team (attention please) had to compete against each other at archery. well the next day, everyone i saw was like "you sucked!". but let me just say this. i know nishikido kun got 200 points, but i got 100! isn't that neat? i know everyone who knows me was watching and was thinking "he's gonna miss". but i didn't miss! so you all should be nicer to me. but when i saw nishikido kun today, he was like "you're not a STAR". and listen to this. during the show, after he got the 200 points and walked passed me, he looked at me kind of mockinly was like "hah." i mean it was a joke. but inagaki kun saw it, and was like "wow he's looking at you all mean" and i was like "i knowwww and we're in the same group!" but of course inagaki kun knew it was a joke too.

funny story #2 (not involving ryo but funny nonetheless):
while filming "busu no hitomi", everyone asks me how old i am. and when i say "18 yrs old" everyone's like "wow you're so young!" but the thing is there are people on the set who are only like 2 yrs older than me. lol. but guess what?! my make up artist was like "you could probably pass for a 30 yr old" and he was all serious too! come on now! koyama's older than me and he's still acting like a high school student and now i'm 30 yrs old? i don't agree with that. lol i mean, i guess i look old and stuff but 30?! i don't think so.

funny story #3:
well before concerts, i always take a shower. so i hokkaido, i was taking a shower. there were 4 shower stalls, and koyama was in another one. but then nishikido kun came went in the stall that was two stalls away from mine and started pouring cold water at me! do you guys know how frickin cold the water in hokkaido is?!?! and it even got into koyama's stall and we were like "NISHIKIDO!! STOP IT!" and then a few minutes later, clueless yamaP comes in, and goes in the stall between mine and ryo chans. so now yamaP's all cold and wet. so we were all screaming at nishikido kun "hey now! stop it!" while we were naked. and then i got all confused about which knob was for the cold one and the hot one, so i kept on getting cold water on myself. and on top of that, my underwear got all wet so i had to dry it with a hair dryer. god nishikido kun. please don't be so immature.

The first time I heard of this was around late January.

At 2am, the show for Dream Boys and practice for SHOCK were back to back and I was a little tired. Beside my pillow the cell phone’s incoming ring sounded in the quiet room. When I looked at the LCD screen, it was displaying the my sister’s name, who doesn’t call very often.
I pressed the talk button,

“Moshimoshi.”

I said.
In her usually quiet voice,

“Moshimoshi? Ryo Ni-chan?”

I thought she was different from usual.

“What is it?”

I inquired and suddenly,

“…I’m getting married. The baby in my belly will be born in September.”

“Eh? Really?”

“Hmm.”

“Oh. I got it.”

“I thought I’d tell you.”

“Oh, good luck then. Bye.”

We hung up.

It was a few seconds conversation.

Of course I was surprised by the marriage, but what’s more shocking is the calm, determined, and sincere tone.

During the call, I turned into a brother who was younger than my sister by a few years.

Taking a deep breath and repeatedly reflecting on this by myself, I finally grasped the situation.

“…No way?”

Taking the cell phone in my hands again, this time it was I who called.

“Moshimoshi, what is it?”

“Iya, who’s the other guy?”

“Someone named OO.”

My appearance in SHOCK ended early and I returned to Osaka’s home for the first time since New Year’s.

When I arrived home Mom was cooking.

“I’m hungry, give me food.”

I haven’t spoken in a spoilt tone for a long time.

Before the food was put out, I was watching TV in the living room.
As I was doing so there was a sound of someone descending the stairs from the 3rd floor.

There was my sister’s voice.

Also the sound of a man I’ve never heard!

When I was thinking this, my sister’s voice peeped in.

“Welcome home.”

“Oh, I’m home.”

“Hajimemashite, OO desu.”

It was my brother-in-law.

It seemed that he used to play baseball and had a solid body.

Then Mom called to say that the food was ready.

My brother-in-law entered the kitchen and stood next to Mom to help fill the rice and dishes.

He was surprisingly familiar with it.

Everyone sat around the dining table and began to eat.

Me, who was eating awkwardly, and my brother-in-law, who was eating hungrily while saying ‘delicious’ in a loud voice so Mom can hear, our voices echoed.

I was thinking ‘what an adorable kid’ while I tasted Mom’s cooking, which I haven’t had in a long time.

Things like this would’ve been good to be seasoned this way, there were too many ingredients for the miso soup, etc. I was throwing such imprudent remarks.

As I was making lengthy comments about how the miso soup ingredients were foolishly too much, someone awkwardly raised his voice.

I returned the day before the ceremony.

When the ceremony date was decided I told my manager and begged that no matter what I wanted to have that day off.

I arrived in Osaka.
But I didn’t go home immediately and ate with several ex-freeloader friends and other friends that I’m going with tomorrow. When I returned home it was around early dawn.

2006.4.1 April Fool’s

When I opened my eyes my family was busily preparing.

My mom who firmly applied foundation.
My older brother who shaved his beard.

I also slid into the sleeves of a suit. I didn’t tie a necktie and placed a white handkerchief in my chest pocket.

Taking my friend and eldest brother with the car we headed for the ceremonial hall.

It was in Nara Prefecture.

A site surrounded by nature,
even though the sky was cloudy,

It was pretty no matter what.

In the parking lot deers were regularly walking by.

We handed in the gifts at the reception desk and waited in the car until the ceremony.

I didn’t think of anything as I was watching TV. Just waiting.

Our cousin’s kid called us and we entered the church.

I sat on the side of the Virgin Road in the second row to the bride’s side.

The ceremony started.

Voices echoed.

With the sound of the organ,
the priest and groom entered first.

The bride’s entrance came.

The door opened and I can see Dad in a tuxedo.

Beside him was my sister in a pure white dress and eyes downcast.

Tears were running.

I was sniffling the entire time.

Extend right foot, combine two feet,
Extend left foot, combine two feet.

My tears were flowing.

I still don’t understand where the tears came from,
but I think they were beautiful tears.

Step by step,
I was fixated on the father and daughter that drew closer.

Dad handed the bride to the groom and sat in the audience.

By that time I was already weeping.

As we sang a hymn together the ceremony was casually progressing.

Instructions to the couple, the ring exchange, the vow, finishing the signatures, we passed along a dimension that was too beautiful and seemed like a dream.

At last, when the bride and groom retreated, the door closed and I continued clapping by myself.

Near by someone was clapping.

It was Dad.

Dad did not stop clapping.

We did the flower shower, took the souvenir photograph, and waited in the car again until the reception.

I was drowning in thought and tears flowed.

It was more touching than any movie.

Sad

Happy

Lonely

It was an emotion I wanted to describe with these words for the first time.

The reception began and I was enjoying various events while eating.

As I gave Dad, who sat next to me, the fish I didn’t eat and ate the meat he didn’t eat, I had a lively conversation with my parents.

My sister decided the seating plan.

In the middle of the reception, my brothers sang ‘3 gatsu 9 ka’.

Synopsis

Losing her mother at a young age, Misaki Yoko (Ueto Aya) was raised amongst three brothers. Yoko is a slightly boyish girl who is bullheaded and hates dishonesty. Ever since she was young, she enjoyed the company of boys over girls. She starts a band with four of her boy friends and becomes the lead singer. Then one day, one of the members of the band, Tsukasa, gets a job at a bank in Tokyo. Due to Tsukasa leaving town, the band breaks up and though Yoko finds herself lonely, she puts on a strong act in front of Tsukasa. She can't tell Tsukasa how she truly feels for him. On the day Tsukasa leaves for Tokyo, Yoko goes along with the band members to the airport to see him off. The guys get excited when they see some cabin crew ladies and Yoko has no idea why. She reminds them that even she can wear a uniform, but the guys only make fun of her. That's when Tsukasa tells Yoko he wonders what she'd look like dressed in uniform. -YamaPi didn't really talk to any NewS' member except Ryo in the beginning when NewS was formed.

-Kusa likes collecting Winne the Pooh I heard.

-YamaPi bought his first video game on his birthday in 1st grade. He doesn't play it anymore but he doesn't want to throw it away.

-YamaPi has allergies. Every spring he uses a lot of tissues.

-Shige considers stuffing his fist into his mouth his special ability. Well, it sure IS special, but...

-Once on Domoto Bro show, when Koichi ask why all the pictures they shared didn't have him, but there's one with Tsuyoshi, Ryo said: "It feels like we will get comment like [No thanks] if we had asked you to take a photo with us." Then everyone went: o_0", and laughed. Then Koichi face was like... Defeated? Lol~

-On January Duet's interview, they were asked what will they get for each member as christmas present.
Tegoshi asked Ryo what he wants, Ryo reply was: Cash would be better. And so Goshi was considering on giving him only 113 yen, to match Ryo's birthday. Kusano wants to give Koyama a white toiletbowl cover, "

-Tegoshi once tried using a staple to staple his finger. And when Kusa ask him what happen next, he said: The stapler just went through my finger like what is expected. (Then he laughs, ==")

-Ryo always ask Tegoshi out. And once after work Ryo ask Goshi out again and say he will ring him to confirm the time and day later at night. But Ryo didn't call and went to sleep, leaving Goshi waiting for his call till 3a.m late in the night (Or morning, )

-Once NewS was staying in a hotel, and Ryo called Goshi over for lunch. He even prepared his Bento for him. But Ryo waited and waited no one came. Later he went out to the corridor and heard Goshi's and Massu's voices from Uchi's room. And all of them explain with a different reason.

Goshi said: I was holding my Bento, walking towards Ryo's room when Uchi and Massu called (forced) me in to join them.

Massu said: You came in on your own!

Uchi: Yeah, you came in on your own!

But Ryo forgave Goshi afterall, lol.

Hello I'm new in this thread, I just finished One Litre of Tears and I thought Ryo was really perfect for the role of Asou. I was surprised to have noticed him because I was watching Attention Please earlier on, but I must say he's a really talented actor. Btw, if anyone wants to download Attention Please Episodes there's a really great site out there

i haven't heard anything about ryo being in a new drama. i remember reading somewhere that ryo doesn't really like acting that's why he takes supporting roles only. i'm not sure how much i believe that because they didn't tell where they got the info but it could be true or not.

i bet ryo's probably busy with K8 stuff so i don't know if he'll do anything for a while. plus he's probably going to get a break sometime i hope.
