about ryo not liking acting, i was the one who said that but i read it from another forum so i don't know how true it is. i read someone's translation that he wanted more roles but i don't know if it means bigger roles.

i agree, he does have good chemistry with his costars. he had chemistry in gambatte ikimasshoi too with anne suzuki. i just wished he'd pick a leading role instead of a supporting role.

i think we may have had this conversation before but newho, i based how well an actor acts by how well they portray the character of any role they take and not necessarily the variety of roles they take. for example, i enjoy watching kame and ryo in dramas because they can get the feelings acrossed and expressed well, especially in emotional scenes. so that's my opinion on things.


i also like the ryo+yamapi pairing as well as ryo+uchi pairing. i like both the same. i like anything with ryo but uchi and yamapi are the extra sweet icing on top that i can never refuse either.

It's true that we have only seen an extent of his acting skills, but like vanggirlie said...he does portray that character well. Yeah, I saw DB. I think Ryo had less than 50 lines in the whole thing minus the singing parts =\ but he looked hot, especially in the beginning in the suit with the pink shirt xD

But Ryo as Akira? Interesting...I really liked him as Haruto in 1 Litre of Tears. It'd be an interesting sight to see Ryo coming down the stairs like Akira or doing "Kon Kon" and "Akira Shock".

Well Ryo picks on Ueda a lot. But Ueda is a pretty cool guy so I think he's able to avoid a big fight. Ryo does start most(maybe all) of the Ryo vs. Ueda situations.

i think we really don't know for sure if he likes ueda or not, even tho he did say something of the sort of ueda being the guy that he likes least or something (but it could be all just for the camera). i think ryo treats ueda how he use to treat jun hasegawa(sp?). he may not like ueda but he probably doesn't hate ueda. i don't know. sometimes we just don't know what celebrities really like or what they really think about things.

i actually don't know much about ueda but from what i've seen he seems like an ok guy. he's really sensitive tho...kind of like ryo. perfect match don't you think. ^_*
