BIOGRAPHY
An accomplished musician and actor, Mark Lui is one of the top entertainers in Hong Kong today. Mark began his film career as a composer for many films, including Crime Story and My Father is a Hero. In 1997, Mark made his acting debut in the film Cause We Are So Young. He would go on to act in more films, but his music wasn't far behind. He formed the band Dry with a pre-Gen-X Cops Stephen Fung. The duo released a few albums before their split. In fact, even Karen Mok sang with the band at one point. Mark recently worked as composer on the Leon Lai-Faye Wong film Loving Me, Leaving You. Mark writes songs mainly nowadays, most of them for his good friend, Kelly Chen. On Kelly's greatest hits collection, 1995-2000, most of the songs were written by Mark himself. It is apparant with the way things are going, Mark is a tour-de-force to be reckoned with, whether it is in acting or music.

His birthday is July 9, 1969, so that would make him 36 years old. I never knew he was dating Nicola Cheung. I saw him recently on the Chik Chak Music Awards Show 2005 and had a pot belly.

I think he and Nicola already broke up.He is very talented and he is very successful. I saw him appearing in Leon concert. Both of them are quite close and it looks like they are good buddy!!

I really enjoy all the songs that Mark Lui wrote for Kelly Chen. They really fit her style and vocals.

btw the only movie i saw him in was and i hate you so.. he played an idiot, cheater and scumbag of kelly's boyfriend (but he acted really well lol)

i really think that his composer life gives him much much more($$$ and sucess) than when he used to be in "DRY" with Stephen fung...actually both of them have a lot of sucess now...

Yesterday Edmund Leung, William So and Mark Lui attended a brand's new store opening party. Edmund also publicly announced that his birthday wish is to become a father.

Tomorrow is Edmund's 38th birthday. He revealed that he has already made an appointment with his family members to eat crabs to celebrate his birthday.
