isnt kate suppose to b in this series and do u kno when is she suppose to show up? i really want to kno if she can act or not because i didnt like her when she was hosting shows

i think she was pretty when she won miss hk, but somehow she is turning more and more ugly....

I personally dont like her and she only looks good with makeup on

im wondering that too.. its like ep 14 and she still isnt out yet! i wanna see how shes gonna affect sammul and myolie's relationship.

i guess she has a really small role or they are just going to cram her in the series because there's only 6 eps left from ep 14 and she still hasnt appeared...

yea i jes finished epi 14 n samuel n myolie's relationship seems pretty stable so i dont know how kate is suppose to effect their relationship. but i hope kate doesnt caused myolie to be anorexic again

i'm guessing.. kate and sammul won't really have a thing, rather just friendship but myolie will mistaken them and get jealous and/OR maybe sammul asks kate to help him get rid of myolie's fear of relationships

well for all of u who want to know wen Kate appears...she comes out in eps 18....her acting...um...let u be the judge of that...i just find the way she speaks weird...haha

Dont really like her. First, she looks weird ( I find her rather similar to Mandy cho..the face, the expression). Second, her acting is horrible. She is too wood in acting..Is she a new actress?Just another miss hk who gets involved in acting..I would believe if people say she is related to mandy cho..

i think this is actually her 1st series...and indeed...i find her acting somewhat similar to Mandy Cho's...their acting isnt that good...

im not basing it on just eps 18...im saying in general most MHK's who start out in acting are quite bland when it comes to acting....but i do mean in general i think the way Kate speaks is weird...besides...this is her first series...not a big role...but we shall see how it goes...

so aside from the way she speaks.. you're basing it on a preconceived biasness you have towards MHKs. i think almost anyone's first series wouldn't be too good, not just MHKs. but in defense of some recent MHKs, i actually thought Devily's performance in her first series (Fantasy Hotel) was not too shabby, given her role was quite big and was not the easiest to act. even if given to a nonMHK that has some experience, (see: elaine, charmaine li, yoyochan, etc., or some lesser known frequent extras) i don't think it would've been any better. and of course, i think Selena Li is becoming a fine actress.

Haha I agree with that, give her a chance. She's got a good body haha and a pretty cute face.

after watching eps 20, i noticed that
Kate's timing is off sometimes, causing her to repeat some movements/expressions
and she still has some of that awkwardness that most newbies tend to have..
the role itself is really much to do about nothing, they played it down so much that the role is pratically useless.

I kinda think she came into the business not shy at all as though she's a veteran. I think she has a lot of confidence and I can't really judge her acting since I haven't seen it yet. Is there really a point to her being in this series?

well from epi 18 i cant really tell if she's a good actress or not but the way she talks is kinda weird. and that is not just from watchin the series. its from the time she was in misshk n when she hosts scoop. i guess we just have to wait n see how far her acting career goes because almost all misshk weren't good actreeses in their first series

I think that she would do alright although I haven't watched the part where she's in but she will have some flaws in her acting given that, I believe, it's her first series. But I hope that through time she gets better. She looks okay but the only thing that I don't like about her, apperance wise, is her eyes.

Her acting is still rather flawed. She seems to be holding back her laugh when she is supposed to be serious when describing her client mental health. She also look a little 'fat'? When in Miss HK competition, I thought she was thin and slim.

Yeah.. wonder how her acting is. She becomes more ugly now, especially her bands. Her face looks fatter too!!

this is her first serie so we shouldn't jude her so hard..... a newcomer acting like that... they are nervous.

hmm kate? shes alrite but i dont think she is that pretty as when i saw her winning miss hk. neways the miss hong kong pageants are no longer what they used to be cause the girls defintiely arent as pretty as they used to be....maybe because the contestants arent offering much variety for the judges to choose or maybe the beautiful ones dont want to compete cause they have better things to do. newayz her acting is alrite and im glad she doesnt get in the way of sammul and myolie. that would be horrible. myolie is already getting jealous as it is in the series. its cute though the way sammul tries to win her back. they are sooo cute together in the series...i think its just how they act and what they have to say i really enjoy watching them.

She played a psychologist in this series. Her acting is weird. She needs to speak with emotion. Despite the fact that she is a newcomer, I will not judge her. Hopefully, she will improve in the future as she continues to act.

Her acting is horrible! And I thought Mandy Cho was bad. Seriously, worse acting i've ever seen. She's pretty, but acting. Nuh uh!

i personally don't think she's as bad as Mandy, Vivien or Winnie Shum when they first came out & probably some others that i can't remember on the top of my head

It is difficult to say about her acting, because , you dont see her that much in the serie. But I find her a bit strange.

i though her acting was great for a new commer......her acting was way better than keith gf....the mr chan's daugther....

I think she is okay. At least she says her line pretty naturally and try to have some facial expressions. It just annoyed me that sometimes she says her line and then do that smile thing where she presses her lips together really tight. But her acting isn't revolting, I think she can improve with more experience.

in dis series isnt she is a psychologists or sumfing i dont lik d way she talk it just get so annoying but i will hav to say she look so old n she cant realy act i guess its her first time acting in tvb series in dis small role.

i don't get why she put so much emphasizes on her mouth..the way she talks annoys me so much! and her eyes....blehhhh.. she's not pretty either..myolie is so much prettier..yet myolie was only the second-runner up...blehhh..
thank god she only appeared in the last 2-3 episodes..otherwise..i don't know if i can finish this series or not...

she's not very pretty for a miss hk...and acting wise...she's still very raw...quite often her expressions looked rather forced

My personal opinion about Kate is that her acting wasn't great but wasn't all that bad, she does actually act better than Mandy Cho tho. I don't think Kate is pretty at all, i think out of all the miss hk's in the past few years she is the one that is least pretty.

It was weird hearing her speak. Sometimes her voice sounded deep, other times her pronunciaton was off, and sometimes she sounds stuffed up.

Umm..honesty, she isn't that great, I mean, her look is all right, but then...her voice and the way she talked in the show was really annoying and i dont like her acting end of sentence
