You have 2 idols? Which Amy?
Hm... That really depends on how you define the insane level. Perhaps, our parents' way of defining insane is totally just how we'll define the normal level. Hahaha. But yea, it's way better than us going into drugs. I guess there's no obvious harm in idolising someone. And in fact, it's good in the sense that it does help that de-stress. Heh.
I'm depressed about being unable to get the toy figures too! That's like something that she spent so much time and effort in. So it's like a must-get. Missing out on them is like argh... horrible.
Hm... But the 300HKD is supposed to be paid on the day of the event, right? So how do you intend to pay it?
You're serious about telling them about the expressions? You can try your luck. Not sure if they'll have any excess souvenirs for the events though. I'm not trying to be racist or something like that but erm... You're not chinese?
I guess I'm not that familiar with the OTB character. Hahaha. I totally can't recognise it until I read the comments of the others on the blog. Then I realised that it was the OTB character. I'm slow. Hahah.
Ahh, yes, of course. I only have 2 idols - trust me, that's enough to keep me bz!

That Amy is Amy Chan Sau Man (presently an ATV actress, but about a decade ago she was with TVB). Its a real shame that Amy and Maggie never had a series together. HAHA, I'll probably drop dead if in the near future Amy and Maggie were to film a series together. Well, of course I'll have to watch the series first and then I'll drop dead.
Honestly, if they were to film a series together, I'm going to get my butt on an airplane and fly myself to wherever they're filming. HAHA, I get to see and enjoy both of my actresses. HOW AWESOME would that be? But again, what are the chances?
I've realized that Amy and Maggie has much similarities in their co-stars...
They've both acted with Leila Tong:
Amy - Fourty Something (Leila's Mommie) and Racing Peak (Leila's Brother's GF)
Maggie - Let's Face It (Leila's older self)
They've acted with Sheren Tang: (even outside of TVB)
Amy - Fate of the Clairvoyant (Sheren's BF) and The Good Old Days (Sheren's husband's first wife)
Maggie - War and Beauty (Sheren's husband's other wife... HAHA, same situation, eh?)
They're better known for in their early career as singer:
Amy - no doubt, she was spotted for singing talents first - she's still an amazing singer now!
Maggie - she was with the PP Gals (of course the HK pageant too, but lets not get into that)
But again, despite their similarities they differ in one huge area...
Their genre of characters:
Amy - likes pre-modern, lighthearted, family-drama (she likes to play the mother-figure, I dont see why not, she's amazing at that!)
Maggie - she likes to explore her capablities... Again, great, its hard to get boring of her acting, bc she's always trying new things (unlike some unnamed actresses - *cough, cough, cough* <- Jessica)
But overall, I must be honest to say, I enjoy watching more Amy series than Maggie's. But I love them both for their own character either way. So they're both my "most admired actresses" - I'll ditch the word idol since Maggie doesnt like to be seen as an idol.

HAHA, I'm pretty sure those figurines are unavailable outside the charity event. In the prize notice in hoyee4u.com it listed the 3 figurines as "YOU CANNOT BUY THIS ANYWHERE" <- that was solely depressing to read. My eyes felt like it was going to pop out!

Yes, the 300HKD is to b paid at the front door. WAIT... I'm looking at the update on the event on hoyee4u.com, here it is:

GOOD GOD... I'm so happy to hear of all the fans signing up. But I want to know more about the goodies available for overseas fans like myself. I'll e-mail the webmaster of hoyee4u.com personally and ask for more info.

Wish I can get my hands on at least one goodies! HAHA, wish me luck!
WHOAAA, why are you so shocked that I am not chinese? HAHA, being chinese or not doesnt make me any more or less capable of having admire someone so much for their humanitarian character and excellence in the entertainment world, correct? Yes, I get left out in forums and websites that are designed for Chinese speaking natives, but I've always found my way around - reading the news is a pleasure in itself. I need not part-take in the conversations, though of course, if I was capable. That'll be no exceptions for me - as you may see, I'm very long-winded.
