이동욱, 팬들과 생일 잔치에 함박 웃음

26번째 생일이자 데뷔 7주년을 맞은 연기자 이동욱이 팬들과 동료 연예인들의 축하 속에 생일잔치 겸 팬미팅을 마쳤다.
지난 5일 서울 종로의 둘로스 호텔에서 열린 행사에는 이동욱의 공식 팬클럽 '하천욱(하늘이 내려준 천 가지 얼굴을 가진 배우 이동욱)'의 팬 150여명과 정준하, KCM, 수호, 현영 등 절친한 연예인들이 참석했다.
벌써 세 번째로 이동욱 팬 미팅 사회를 맡는다는 정준하는 '마음이 맞는 친한 동생의 팬미팅 겸 생일잔치라 다른 스케줄을 제쳐놓고 달려왔다. 내년, 내후년에도 사회를 봤으면 좋겠다'며 이동욱을 아끼는 마음을 드러냈다.
KCM과 수호는 노래로써 이동욱을 축하했고, 이동욱은 즉석에서 수호와 함께 '봄여름가을겨울'을 부르며 범상치 않은 랩 실력도 선보였다.
소극장이라는 여건상 참석하고 싶어한 모든 팬들을 초대하지 못했는데도 불구하고 일본, 중국, 미국, 미얀마 등 해외에서도 많은 팬들이 찾아와 이동욱이 차세대 한류스타임이 입증되기도 했다.
데뷔 때부터 자신을 지켜봐주고 응원해준 팬들에게 이동욱은 '진심으로 감사하다'는 말을 거듭 강조했다.
이동욱은 하림의 '난치병'을 불러 멋진 노래 실력을 공개해 박수를 받기도 했다.
최근 영화 '최강로맨스'(감독 김정우·제작 더드림앤드픽쳐스 화인웍스)에서 함께 코믹멜로 연기를 펼치게 된 현영도 찾아와 생일케이크를 선물하며 '이동욱을 사랑하는 팬들이 너무 궁금해 찾아왔다. 와보니 정말 예쁘고 멋있다'고 말했다.
이동욱은 ''최강로맨스'에서 만난 현영이 인터뷰에서 '팬들이 있기에 여기까지 올 수 있었다'는 말을 하더라. 나는 무뚝뚝한 성격이라 지금까지 그렇게까지 말은 안 했지만 많은 것을 느끼고 있다'며 팬들에 대한 남다른 애정을 내비쳤다.
생일이 월요일(11월6일)이지만 팬들을 위해 생일잔치도 하루 앞당긴 이동욱은 예정에도 없던 팬들과의 대화 시간을 자청하며 행사 종료 시간을 한 시간 이상 훌쩍 넘기기도 했다.
'내년 초 개봉 예정인 영화 '최강로맨스'의 촬영을 70%정도 진행했다'는 이동욱은 '연기만 죽어라 해서 계속해서 연기자로서 좋은 모습을 보이겠다'는 각오를 밝혔다.

LDW celebrated his 26th birthday with his fans and fellow entertainers at a fan meeting on the 5th at a hotel in Seoul. [Good lord, his official fan club name is ridiculously long! Jung Joon Ho, who's already been to three of LDW's fan meetings, said that he cleared his schedule to go to his dear friend's birthday fan meeting. He showed how much he valued his friend and said that if he could come next year too, and after that too, he'd like to. KCM and Su Ho honored his birthday by singing, and Su Ho joined him on the song "Spring Summer Fall Winter," where he showed off some rapping skills as well.
Also, there were fans who couldn't be invited to the fan meeting because the attendees had to live domestically, but nevertheless there were fans from Japan, China, the US etc who sought out LDW, affirming his status as one of the next generation's Hallyu stars.
LDW expressed his sincere thanks for the fans who've stuck with him ever since his debut. He also received applause for showing off very impressive singing skills with the song "Fatal Illness" (nahn chi byeong).
His "Strongest Romance" costar Hyun Young also came with a birthday cake as a gift, saying that she was curious to see all of LDW's loving fans. Having seen them for herself, she said they are truly beautiful and impressive (mushissuh). He said in an interview with Hyun Young that the reason he made it this far is because of his fans. "My personality's a little gruff so I haven't said these words before, but I feel a lot" [toward them]. He seems to have an especial, particular affection for his fans.
