Just came home a couple of minutes ago. And you know what, gals? I, along with a few fans, saw LDW oppa UP-CLOSE @ the EDSA Shangri-la before he went to ABS-CBN for his 'Wowowee' appearance!!! (Aieeeeee!!! ) Actually, I'm still in a state of shock up to now to share more details. Need to organize my thoughts before I start sharing to you my story (and pics). Maybe by tomorrow. For now, I'm still in these states ->

I swear! I've never stalked an artist before. (When the F4 guys were here, I just attended their concerts and that's it. No going to their hotels or rehearsals.) I just decided to come to the hotel ALONE and WITH NO PARTICULAR PLANS. I even thought that I would be very happy if I could just see his shadow. BUT HECK NO! It was much more than what I had expected it to happen. Really unbelievable. Maybe that's the reason why I can't tell you any details yet.

Hi, pinktiger! What I do is transfer the from VHS to the DVD videocam. From the DVD videocam, I transfer to the PC and upload via www.multiply.com. Though if you don't have one, then the only way is to bring it to a shop where they do the transfer. Once it is in a CD, you can copy from the CD to the PC and then load to www.multiply.com.

I can't make out clearly what the translator was saying in the video. Is it true that the translator said LDW said that he likes the kissing scene with LDH before saying that the most memorable scene was when LDH plucked the star because it was so freezing? I watched Wowowee just to see him, and boy, he looks so handsome! He is one of the most beautiful men I've ever saw ! He is just so damn hot! I noticed that all the girls were going crazy in the studio, including Mariel and Janelle. I guess, looking at a beautiful creature will make you forget your inhibition, or something(I'm referring to what Mariel said to him "you can hold my hand while holding the mic", and the other girls, stealing a kiss from him). Julian on Wowowee and The Buzz

Julian of My Girl is here in Manila! The first and true home of Asianovelas in the Philippines, ABS-CBN brings the viewers of the hit Koreanovela closer to their favorite international stars! Supporters of actor Lee Dong Woo aka Julian, swarmed the ABS-CBN compound for just a glimpse of the Korean hottie. His shy smile and gracious answers during his press conference yesterday made him more endearing to his followers specially the females.


Staying in the country for 4 days, Dong Wook is also in the Philippines to promote his very first movie, Arang. The suspense thriller, which also stars famous Korean actress Song Yun Ah, is based on a Korean folklore about a Minister's daughter who died defending her honor when one of her father's servants attempted to rape her. Arang will retell the tale in a more up to date setting. Lee Dong Wook will be playing one of the detectives who got involved in solving the case. He describes his character as very complex, a far cry from his character Julian on My Girl. It was psychologically hard and it was a great challenge for him as an actor. He thinks his personality is more like Julian, a bit serious and ‘shy around girls.’ His most memorable scene on My Girl was when Jasmine or actress Lee Da Hae gets the star on top of the Christmas tree. "It was really freezing that day. My hands and feet were frozen!" he shared. "But I also enjoyed our kissing scenes." he added playfully.


At only 25, Lee Dong Wook has come far from his debut as an actor when he was just 18 years old. He humbly described himself as a ‘simple high school boy’ in his junior year. He wasn’t blessed like other actors who easily entered the business when they were discovered by talent scouts. He enrolled in acting school and went to one audition after the other until he landed an acting job. "Acting isn’t really easy. That’s why I am always trying my best," he told the press through an interpreter. He likes reading books or spending time with friends, like actor Jo Insung (Memories of Bali and Spring Day), whom he has known for 7 years.


Lee Dong Wook was also pressed on his knowledge about the Philippines and he promptly answered, "Cebu. Boracay." He also shared that he practiced a few Filipino phrases a few days before but since he was placed on the spot he sort of forgot it. But before the presscon ended he managed to recover from his mental block and was able to muster "Mahal ko kayo" and "Salamat" which got cheers from the crowd. He also answered a fast ‘No.’ to the question if he has a girlfriend. This time he got all the girls in the room giddy. He then apologized for not being able to shake hands with everyone for he had a workout injury 3 days before his scheduled trip and had it in a cast.

His entourages’ next stop would be Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan. But not before he visits Willie Revillame on Wowowee tomorrow July 22 and has a one on one interview with Kris Aquino on The Buzz on Sunday. Don’t dare miss the Korean heartthrob’s appearances on ABS-CBN!

Anyway, I was able to watch Lee Dong Wook's guesting at Wowowee on tv. I was feeling soooo excited when it was about to start. I didn't like the opening dance number by Rica Peralejo (local actress) and wished they thought of a much better one like maybe Sam Milbi (local singer/commercial model) singing his version of the song My Girl... that would really make us

I agree with many commenting about the dancers and the hosts. Honestly, some parts of it like where the dancer gave him a garland and him being interviewed by the 2 lady hosts (for me, I think Willie was okay)... I JUST COULD NOT LOOK at the SCREEN and kept putting my hands on my eyes. I was like EMBARASSED to see what they're doing to him.

I've been reading posts before, commenting that of all shows why ABS-CBN let LDW guest at Wowowee... that it would not be a good one to do. So I was preparing myself already... one must EXPECT the unEXPECTED! got to EXPECT for the WORST! but I still gave a little hope that maybe they'll be formal and do the right thing. But NOPE!!! I was expecting it to be Willie who'll do something not quite good but it was the ladies that I got disappointed with (my gulay! they asked almost the same question?!!! co'mon ladies, you should have prepared/thought of a good question already before the show started!)

Say, "Lee Dong-Wook is here" and many people will ask, "What?" instead of "Who"? Say, "Julian is here" and a throng of fans immediately crops up. Each of the fans will survey the venue to find where their Korean Idol, lead of ABS-CBN’s My Girl, is.

That’s how Lee/Julian’s popularity can be described these days. Julian/Lee is a typical heartthrob. He’s tall and handsome. But he’s fair-skinned rather than dark.

As if you don’t know, Lee is the young executive who wants to grant his grandfather’s request to see the latter’s granddaughter, Julian’s cousin. She lives in Japan.

Much like the genie in the fairy tale, Julian holds the key to improving his grandfather’s deteriorating health. Though he tried his best to locate his cousin, Julian’s efforts are not enough. Out of desperation and exasperation, he hatches a plan and hires Jasmine to play his long-lost cousin.

She agrees and Jasmine temporarily lives in Julian’s house. They discover the best in each other and fall in love.

Asked who is the better actor – him or Rain of A Love to Kill, Lee replies, "Rain is already popular in some Asian countries. He plans to try Hollywood. There’s no point of comparing Rain with me or vice-versa."

With his popularity, it’s not surprising if ABS-CBN cooks up a TV or movie project for Lee. And he says he’d love to do it.

As for Arang, an ABS-CBN official says Star Cinema executives are discussing about its possible release in the country.

As an actor, Lee has tried all the acting genres. He says that he is closer to the character of Julian than the one he plays in Arang.

"Julian is shy and mum when it comes to showing his feelings and emotions. The detective character, on the other hand, is far cry from the real me. He is very complex. I had to be prepared psychologically and mentally for the role."

How does he find the Philippines? Lee replies, "It’s known for beautiful places like Boracay and Cebu. On my flight to Manila, I found out that you have a beautiful sky."

Lee doesn’t only find the Philippines beautiful. He finds the women gorgeous, too. He says, "there’s a possibility that a Filipina could be my wife."

With swooning girls and ladies around, Lee ended the presscon on the right note.

He proclaimed, "Mahal ko kayo."
