I think the leaders are more subdued because they have to deal with the media and a firery temper is a bad image. Take 7F for example, Qiao En is a lot more outspoken with a quick to anger personality; she wouldn't deal with rumors and reporters in-your-face as well as Xiao Qiao who is more calm and rational. The leaders just seem to have a leader quality about them.

183 Club is mainly Yu Rong and Jacky. But the other three guys get quite a fair share of singing too. MD and SW do tend to have a bit of solo parts in the songs too lol. Xing Shu doesn't I think... But mostly its Jacky and Yu Rong who are lead singers.
7 Flower is Qiao En and Wei Ru. The Bi Shang Yan Mo Nian San Bian was mostly sang by Wei Ru lol. And its not Ru Wei.

I never knew of the twins in Jungiery lol. I haven't seen them before...

Not too sure about that, but I don't remember seeing the Jstars magazines in Popular stores- I've always been getting mine from Kinokuniya.

popular do sell the jstar magazine and at a cheaper price but they are old, eg. (when it is february, they are still selling the october edition)

and the range of the price because Kinokuniya gets the lastest edition magazine unlike popular so they sell them more expensive.

i din know popular sells jstars mag. i got mine from Kinokuniya and it cost me alot, but worth it, you'll get the latest info. about them.

yea. kinokuniya(orchard branch) usually has the lastest issue of the mags. because its damn big. haha. by the way, if you dont know where u can find the mags, its close to counter C. if not u can also ask around. depending on how u enter kinokuniya at which entrance. haha...

popular arh. i give up hope long time ago. haha...now i always go to kinokuniya to get my latest mags and all the J-stars stuff. for example the WZBQW dang ou ri ji and blah blah blah. theres also stuff on 5566, cyndi wang, and many others!

usually kinokuniya keeps the previous month's issue of mags(for PLAY, as far as ive noticed). unless they are really sold out, then i dont think they keep them.

i think jstars does a pretty good job organizing their groups. although some are definitely more famous than other ones, such as 183 club, 7flowers and 5566, i know that they are all probably going to get their fame sooner or later. im sure their manager sun zhong is planning stuff so that all of them will be able to become more famous. i always wondered about one person being in another group. it doesn't make that big of a difference since they're all part of the same company, but for a lot of promotions and stuff, sam can't be there with 183 club since he has to be with 5566. maybe both groups need him/ his voice, so sun zhong asked him to be in both groups?

Are you sure you got your facts right? because I think Zai Zai isn't frozen but she left J-Star already... And R&B disbanded already so there isn't even a R&B group, let alone new members every other month.
Most singers/groups have backup dancers dancing with them too when they perform and everything, just that those dancers aren't recognised so I do think its nice of SZ to make them form a group and so they can get credit too lol.
Ren Fu and Xie Zhi just sing more because they are better singers.

hm.yeah,the managing may be a lil syupid,but,i like jstars because they're not like other actors always in their own world.and the company in like one big family.its so nice. =D

oh,about the love miracle 2 cd.there are two different types.i saw at cd rama.one somes with the poker cards,the other comes with the poster.

i know you have your own opinion but Jstars can't ALL release their album at the same time. 7F and Typhoon already did, and it will be 183 Club, Tai Ji's turn soon (plus KOne's 3rd album). VJ and LaLa were also supposed to release an album sometime in 2006... so Sun Zhong has plans for everyone, but not at the same time.

Yeah.... hehehe if they all released albums at the same time, the company will "lose out" in the end as the fans will be more selective of which album to buy with their "limited" resources. Sun Zhong seems like a very business minded boss so I'm sure he has everything planned out.

Well, one of the primary reasons that Shaowei and Darren are parsed in two groups, instead of one is BEACUSE of management issues. Junigery is HUGE! I mean, if you've seen their video for "yin wei ai" you'll see all of them! Although it was old back them (when 7F still had 7 people), some members have dropped, but then members have been added...so now it's still roughly the same number... Honestly, I don't think it's very intelligent if Sun Zhong acquires one or two more people just to satisfy a few qualifications when he already has people that are perfectly capable within his own company. Granted, yes, they're probably very busy, and people are probably 'confused' as to who is in what... but when it comes right down to it-- I don't really think that matters very much. Sun Zhong gives them equal time with their corresponding groups-- Darren appears when Typhoon as much as he appears with KOne, and Shaowei appears with 183club as much as be appears with 5566. And for a lot of the members who are simply just too busy to even make appearances, even WITH their groups, that's okay too (Yan Xing Shu has been like off the radar for the past month ...doing something... and he hasn't been witn 183 for like the longest time!)

Eh... I was a bit upset with 5566 would make appearances, and Shaowei wouldn't be there ...but then I realized that Jungiery is like one big group itself! They're just organized into smaller groups for convenience purposes. So there's no reason why their 'boundary lines' of the groups could be more fluid and allow for people to pass within them. After all, I don't know if it's because of public appearances or anything... but Jungiery promotes comradreship amongst each other so well and so often that the members don't seem to be too upset at the fact that they're 'sharing their people.'

actually why a few of them are in another group could be:

for eg..SW...he is in 5566, but everyone knows that Zax & Tony are the lead singers....and both of them have hosting projects..

Whereas for SW, he is not the lead nor is he hosting any programme(except on weekends for WQYL right?)

Jason is studying and so left SW who might be a bit free....

This cld be the reason why Sun zhong put him under 183club too....Though he is not the lead singer in 183club, but he & MD has always been the lead actors in their drama... It kind of allow SW to make full use of his time......

That's why MD & SW are never the lead singers when they release OST for their dramas......it's either Jacky or Yurong...(this is to allow the other members not to feel "left out"......and have a share/responsibility as a group)

I think it goes the same for Darren.........

Fact is, when it comes to singing, Jacky and Yurong do have the best vocals among the 5 of them. That's why they are the lead singers. Same thing as in 5566, Tony and Zax. So far for the songs released by 183 club, it's of a different style so that's y we hear more of the other members.

if shao wei wasn't in 183 it would have taken me a couple more months before i knew about 5566. i didn't get into TW drama into WZBQW and i fell in love with MingDao and Shaowei. so obviously i had to learn as much as i could about them and that's how i learned about 5566. i mean i know eventually i would have heard about them but having Shaowei in 5566, made me want to know 5566 more. so in a way having Shaowei in two bands does profit the company... at least from my POV, cause know i like 5566 too.

I get where most of you are going with this but I still don't like the fact that darren and sam are in two different group... People can saw what they want but i still don't like it.. I'm a huge fan of 5566 but still the way j-star works is just STUPID... sorry but that's just my opinion

Actually, I believe (imho) Jungiery is doing a good job managing their stars which are a large group. Sun Zhong concentrate on a few individuals each year and gave them opportunities to shine. I just realized ming Dow was always in the background until he received the Golden Bell Award in 2004 for MaoXingWang (King of Adventures). Quite a big award for a 24 yr male. After that, I noticed he joined 183 club and did 2 series (Heavenly Dress & WZBQW) and now Magicians' Love. So, Ming Dow was around till 2002, but he shined in 2005!

And I would believe each of the individual have their own stories!!!

I didn't say that the singers were stupid...I like Darren and the bands that were form from J-stars but I think that the mangenment is stupid.

I believe can understand why you believe the management is stupid. For example, there is the rule that you can not date a fellow Jungiery member, the thing with Toro and Zai Zai. Does the management have the right to dictates a person personal life? I personally believe not but at the same time I see that Sun Zhong is really interested in building each and every talent that joins Jungiery. Most member are still young and the chance of the relationship going bad is very high which in the end will cause problem and awkwardness within the company. If you look at Jungiery right now you see that there is unity amoung all of them. They are supportive of each other. Based on interviews from the J-star members, I can see that Sun Zhong is a very good manager. Did you know that he waited 7 years to sign Sam Wang? How many managers do you know of that will wait that long to sign a talent. Most of them will be like here is your one chance to become famous take it or leave it? But Sun Zhong waited for Sam to finish college and his duty to the army before joining Jungiery. Sun Zhong also lend money to Huang Yu Rong of 183 when he found out that Yu Rong owed $700000NT to the bank. This is back when he was still new to Jungiery. Recently, I heard the Sun Zhong did not allow Xing Ping Guo Le Yuan to be aired the same time as AQMFS because it would pull MD fans. It shows he care about the results of each project and to see that each person effort is not wasted. I think he tries to make each person well rounded in entertainment and let them try different thing like host a show, deciding on their own MV and image. I know some people might think the Ping Bi that J-star goes through is stupid and sometimes a waste of time but I feel that it keep the members competitive and bring out their creativity along with pushing themselves to their limits. I believe the management is not stupid, they know how to self promote. I known of 5566 for a long time but was not too interested in them until more recently. It was actually WZBQW that got me much more interested in Jungiery. Now I pretty much like every group under Jungiery and if management was not good at having them work together then I doubt I would have like more than one group.

yeah i agree wit u in term of managing the jungiery it is rily a big company u know... before i think its ridiculous that they cant date wit the other members but come to think of it Sun Zhong is ryt for putting that rule in his company,, wat if they break up it will definitely affect their work bcoz of der personal feelings ryt??? he only wants to avoid that to happend to his artist..........

in terms of popularity,, they will have their chance to shine one by one and not at the same time because thats too imposible to happend....

i think that Sun Zhong is rily good in managing his artist although his rily too strict as a manager,,,, i remember way back 2003... MVP qing ren was aired hir in the Philippines.. i admit that it was not a hit because F4 is rather famous than 5566 that time but now look at the two groups F4 disbanded but 5566 was still together until now,,, i rily cant believe that.. i was like "ders still together in as a group until now...wow! " i know jungiery back then but i was not that interested but until i watch WZBQW i was hooked by 183club just now and also the other groups in jungiery....

seems like lots of ppl only got interested in Jungiery after WZBQW. I'm kindof like that too but I knew of 5566 existance for a long time already haha. And I've always liked them, just not enough to take a deeper look at the company they are under.
