^ it seems like 56's fame is dropping because of how popular 183club is right now... but reading j-stars magazine, i can see from the polls that the majority of jungiery fans support 5566 the most.

i personally don't think 183club as a group is as strong as 5566 is as a group so i personally don't think 183 club has as much staying power then 5566 has in the long run....but thats just my personal opinion....

i think every member of 5566 is all rounded talented, they can sing, dance, act and host where as for 183 its very much an individual thing...like some can sing, some can act and some can host... so i reakon the whole thing with 183 club is just a periodic infatuation...sure ming dao and shao wei will still be popular in the future..but thats more of an individual thing were as 5566 will always have staying power as a group and they are the heart of jstar...

The fame of 5566 is "dropping" because they're technically temporarily "disbanded" to pursue their own projects... something which was reported by the Chinese newspapers in America and referred to during several WQYL. But 5566 is planning a "comeback" album really soon, so I'm sure the fever will rise again. Also, I agree with Wenny: 5566 is the heart of Jungiery. Even SW has jokingly said that Sun Zhong especially loves XieZhi and RenFu. 5566, unlike the other J-Stars, is truly, truly versatile... they're successful TV hosts, singers, dancers, and actors. They're FUNNY, and they're forced to do anything on their shows... which also keeps them, in most ways, humble. I know that we 5566 fans are attracted to them, too, but honestly none of them are traditionally, right-off-the-bat good-looking, and it's been said that they were the first boyband in Taiwan formed around vocals and talents, not looks... 183Club, though extremely talented as well, on the other hand, is firstly about the looks.

aisha_26: I didn't see the episode with Rio myself... because it was during a "Shei Zui Dai Zhong" Singing Contest, I think... but they showed a clip of it during the WQYL with the cast of Open Season (QE, SW, JR, and YuRong). Somebody's probably uploaded that onto YouTube... help, anyone?

aww, it's sad that KOne isn't a part of Jungiery anymore. I love that J-stars are all so close to each other and can all play jokes on one another so comfortably.

i agree with tammiest, 5566 is the most well-rounded group in J-stars. All of them can act, sing, dance, and host. while in some of the other j-star groups, only a few can do those things. it seems that currently all the members of 5566 have their own projects to work on, while this isn't the case for some of the other j-star groups. but it might be because most of the other groups aren't as experienced as those in 5566 are. furthermore, 5566 seems to be the back bone of j-stars. xie zhi helps sun zhong out a lot by helping the other groups such as 183 club and 7flowers.

so if Kone isn't with Jungiery anymore are they still gonna call them Jstars I mean because everyone under Jungiery are called the "Jstars" but since they are under Wingman they will not be called Jstar members anymore??

Basically K One as a group and individually will always be half a J Star and since Xiao Dao himself is still connected with Jungiery and has good connections with Sun Zhong, then they must all be aleast half of a J Star.

Actually, I think that K One being managed by J-Star would make the fans who want to pair JR up with a member of 7 flowers happy because they can date now since they're technically no longer in the same company.

yeap i agree with you. if it wasnt for the rule, i wonder how many people would have been paired up with each other. if it wasnt for the rule, maybe there would be more conflicts between jstars due to the breaking up of relationships and bonding of new relationships...

kone's blog at jstar's website has been deleted off. and for info, xiaodao took them back because of his company had another management brought in. so he had to have results since he is the general manager of wingman.

But I agree with lingalicious-- it'd be interesting to see how many relationships would have formed and been broken. Let's face it-- Jungiery has a lot of very attractive people... and, before they got to "feeling like brothers and sisters," they must have been attracted to each other. There were rumors, for example, of SW and Jacky liking XQ, of Jacky liking XJ, of YR liking WR, and, of course, of XS (Johnny) liking QE (I think he admitted to this?)

Not to sound harsh on anything....but i'm from a cantonese background and so have watched those HK singing and award shows in which they've appeared on once or twice, and seriously, their singing is really nothing worth praising, much less noticing. Honestly, someone as young as them should really just focus on their studies and perhaps wait 5 or so more years before attempting the entertainment industry. They aren't very good looking or cute either... just very plain ordinary looking kids with not much talent really...

Hmm... if I were less of an easygoing person, I'd be insulted by the insinuation that I'm a bad translator. However, I understand your feelings... I will say that I didn't look up the news, so I'm not sure of the credibility of the source. I'm not Cantonese, but I've definitely heard some Cream bashing in the Critics forum... :x The girls are sort of weird looking, and, from all accounts, they're not very good singers. It's definitely creepy that they'd be collaborating with 183Club. I was debating whether to use the word "collaborate," thinking that the meaning of the article was that they'd now be in the same company, but the last sentence of the article said they collaborated with Andy Lau, so... :x I guess it could just mean that they'll now be in the J-Star collaborations.

Anyway, I don't see how they can be integrated. They don't even speak Mandarin, so they can't even do what HuaiEn does, which is act in a couple of J-Star dramas, like XPGLY, and build up a fanbase.

K One was originally with wingman which is Xiao Dao of 5566's creation, so I think it's appropriate for them to return but it's just sad watching them leave Jungiery cause they've always been part of the action, at every Jungiery event, there was K One with 5566, 7 Flowers, 183 etc. Hope that K One can find their own success though...
