I feel like such an idiot for posting this-- and it can be removed if necessary, but what is Jungiery? I ran a few searches on it, and all I can get is that it consists of several boy/girl groups...which I deduced after reading numerous forums..

Is Jungiery like some kinda of production group or something? Like the Korean SM-town?

Jungiery is a popular entertainment management company in Taiwan. They are affiliated with SanLih Television Station (call letters: SETTV) in Taiwan and primarily appear on their talkshows and entertainment programs as hosts. Their head manager is known as Sun De Rong (aka Sun Zhong). They are quite famous in Taiwan, especially for their popular appearances in several sucessful dramas and for their singing and album sales.

7Flowers
Typhoon : Toro and Xiao Chun
Lala
VJ: Victor + James
... and some more I can't think of right now.
[KOne was formerly part of Jungiery but have now transferred back to their original management with Wingman]

let me make it cleare for you xP
might not be the best explanation there is, but I'll try..

Jungiery is a music company.. not a band..
From the main manager sun de rong [also known as sun zhong] he first created 5566..
alongside with them, there are individuals like mingdao, qiaoen, cyndi wang, xiaoqiao..
2 years later.. R&B was born [now obviously they have disbanded]
then from then on, with all the success they have, they started to create more n more bands, like 7F, 183 Club.. the individuals are put into groups as well..
sun zhong took kone over his side.. and toro moved to jungiery after he quitted energy and now in a group called typhoon..

anyway.. to get my message through.. jungiery is the company all this artise is in.. and jungiery starts conviniently refer to jungiery's members..

Thanks Dreamstar, that clears a lot of things up. I kind of figured that it was some kind of production company that got artists and stuff- similar to the American Jive entertainment or Sony.

As for 'Jungiery' is there a Chinese term for it? Or do they just use the english name?

yepp there is a chinese term for jungiery. the original chinese name is Qiao Jie Li.

i think Jungiery is a talent/management agency, i don't think they produce or publish any music. record companies(such as Avex) and management agencies are seperate entities, but they arent mutually exclusive, an artist may belong to a different agency than he does a record company(i believe 5566 is under warner music.)

that is exactly right.. jungiery is a talent agency.. and they dont do recording..
avex is their recording company.. so all the album stuff is taken care by them..
and yep, now 5566 is under warner.. they're the newest warner singer xD and believed that their 3rd album can actually put warner's name up again.. since its been pretty quiet this year.

Warner has officially invested in Jungiery, they're shareholders now
so currently, only K-One is under Avex cause i think their contract has not ended
Cyndi is also under Avex
she's only half a J-star though, only her acting management contract is under Jungiery (ie when she's doing idol dramas)

basically Mr Sun is modelling Jungiery after the super-famous japanese Johnny's Jimusho, except that the former has female groups - 7F, whereas the latter consist of purely male groups

ohyea, I was wondering can Sam Wang from 5566 also belong in 183Club ..? AT THE SAME TIME??!!! is that allow. He must be really BUSY!!!

also, does anyone can how we can get in contact with this Jungiery agency? I know that in korean they got SM company and they do audition for ppls to come and try out. is there such thing also happending in taiwan to search for more NEW ppl?

I remember someone saying sometime that since 183 Club and 5566 are from the same company so they're all like one big family anyway. So that's why it doesn't really matter that he's in 2 groups.

you have to be a member of Jungiery Starland first in order to download wallpapers, videos etc. but becoming a member is quite hard for people who can't buy Jstar merchandise (like me

lol) because you have to buy a 5566 bag or something similar. there's a code inside and when you register, you'll have to put that code in the form

I used to be able to watch videos n stuff..
that time when I bought the original 5566 2nd album.. it came with this card that have the member ID and password.. after a while it doesnt work.. I think they changed the requirements =(

hey, i didn't know there was such a group until this week and i find them absolutely amazing! Every one is so talented and each group bring their own unique thing to the table. They're such a united family with their monthly ping bi's and collaborations. Here's a small list of the j-stars that i know of:

there are other individuals like lin kewei, and song zhi ai (previously known as jiayu)

What does Jungiery or Qiao Jie Li mean exactly? Where do the band names come from. I know 183 Club is for the avg height. But what about the rest like 7 FLowers? or KOne??

dunno where the name jungiery comes from~
but 7 flowers was orignally a group with 7 girls~ so 7 flowers.. but because of personal and some contract issues, someof the girl left~ so that's wy there's only 4 of them left. k one was just though up by themselves~

Just like the groups, Cyndi is also fully with Jungiery, while her record company is Avex, just like the groups; K One is also under Avex, while 5566 is under Warner Music...don't know which record companies the other groups are with though. They're all Jungiery stars, just that some of them are not under the same record company

Never knew Ke wei and Song Zhi Ai are with Jungiery too.

yeah i know~~ cyndi is fully under jungiery, but it's just her singing contract is more in the hands of avex rather than jungiery

it's great that Cyndi is still in Jungiery. i heard she switched company and she didn't seem to be involved in Jstars anymore.

Sun Zhong wanted the English translation of "Qiao Jie Li" to sound Japanese... lol because Jungiery is made on the model of a Japanese talent agency.

i like Song Zhi Ai, Lin Ke Wei and Fang Zi Xuan ^^
there's also an individual guy (i don't know his name), the Taiwanese taekwondo winner ?

yea i'd like to know too!!! like Korea's SMtown!!!! when all the boy and girl groups come together and make a summer/winter vacation album!!! i love those!!!

I know all the members of Jungiery came together to sing one or two songs for the tsunami relief concert to raise money. There was even an MV that went with it. They also did this really cool hand clap performance at some show but I forget.

yeah the song they did together was called "yin wei ai" because of love~

Yes, Cyndi's under Jungiery, just like 5566, 183 Club, 7 Flower and K-One
She's the only solo in the company lol, others are all in a group. She's just under a different music producer. While 5566 cd is produced by Warner, Cyndi's like K-One, Avex. That doesn't mean she's under Avex though, its just that her record company is different lol.

i saw the news clip about them filming the "Xing Nian Kuai Le" MV, it looks nice. they're all wearing red and white clothes... then one group sings and is pushed by another one lol

Yeah, I saw on WQYL about them filming that MV. It looked so fun lol, they were pushing each other around and fighting for space and tv screen. I like how they "bumped" each other out of the screen for their turn. I hope Singapore's gonna sell the ai de qi ji 2 soon lol, best to be in time for the chinese new year.

usually these kinda things'll cost something between $20++? very dependent on production cost and number of tracks, as well as the record company, of course.

yeah i really want to know the comments for it because i'm considering getting it. if it was a sole remix of 5566 songs, i'll snag it this instant but this features other jungiery bands too. so i'll really love to know if the quality of the other songs are really worth the money...but i'll probably drop by shops and get it tmr afternoon la.
