do you guys recommend this series? i really like kevin and i guess i do like sharon as well....this series has a good cast but i dont know if i should watch this or not. what do you guys think?

i recommend this series cuss i like cast n the series is good... it is interesting series.. n yeh it talk bout hair style n stuff n it is great Cuss Kevin is so hot!!! he dressed so hot in this series!!! n very cute !!!!

If you like series that are mainly about love and family, then I recommend you this series. But if like more action and adventurous type of series, then I don't think you should watch this series. This series isn't that bad so you can give it a try since you like Kevin and Sharon!

no one knows if this series will be good overall.. i guess we all have to watch up to the middle or near the end of the series to really know if its worth watching.. and a really good series...

i definitely recommend this series...i love tvb's heartwearming series...they always have so much more depth to them than their other stuff

Everyone has different taste, since I'm a huge fan of Nnadia and I haven't seen her for nearly two years, so for me, this is a must see series. But if you're not into light-hearted, relationship between son/father and commonplace relationship between friend/lovers (typical TVB love stoy plot), then I guess this is not for you. My sister think the pace of this series is sooooo slow and she said she has no patient for this type of series, but for me, I'm really enjoying it because the relationship between Kevin and his father is very special with some misunderstanding and like I said before, I love Nnadia and her character is so likable and cute.

YESSS i would recommend this series...

i like short light hearted series like this with some comic relief here and there...also its not draggy...

and another reason for me watching this series is cause of Nnadia and her relationship with Kevin.

if you're a kevin fan, i would definitely recommend this series. he looks so good in here, it's not even funny. his acting is great also. it's light-hearted compared to LWOLAP (which i'm currently also watching right now and which i'm pretty most of the people on the forum is watching). they both contrast each other nicely. overall, thumbs up to both series!

I think this is a very cutesy series so if you are looking for something serious i would not recommend it. But if you are looking for something easy to watch, then this is for you.

i would not recommend this series. i watched the first two episodes and it was boring ; i didn't see the point in it and.. it didn't catch my attention. Although they have actors that i liked in there, the series is not that goood =T was very disappointed

This series is alright so far. The comic relief here is funny. The actors and actresses are doing a superb job. Though the storyline is ok, I must say that this is not one of those series that makes me glued to the TV – if you know what I mean. I should say there is not a lot of suspense here. Overall, I would recommend this series.

this series is pretty nice and easy going. it is very relaxing. especially seeing the scenaries, it is very nice and makes u want to b there. it is different from the city.

I wasn't too sure about this series at first, for some reason i thought it would be boring, but after watching the 1st few episodes i am pretty interested in this series. I find it kind of interesting to see the relationship between Kevin and his parents, and i want to see his developement with Nadia. I would say it's a pretty decent series so i think u should check it out!

if you like light hearted, sweet, relationship series...this one might just make it on your preference list. it is true that there is not much plot to the series but its a short and sweet and enjoyable series (imo)

good series, i recommend it, but you might not like it cause in my opinion the opening theme video gives away too much. my suggestion is if you want it to be less predictable, don't watch the opening theme video (or just watch it once and forget it for the remaining episodes).

i would recommend this serie to people who enjoy watching series to family and love. In a way, it reminds me of Love Bond. So i guess if you liked Love Bond, then you'll probably like Trimming Success.

Absolutely, I recommend this series to anyone that I know, this is such a great series, all the people in it are the best. Especially Kevin & Nnadia, they're so sweet & awesome actors. I love this series so much & would watch it again.

I was really disappointed with this series. First, Nadia's acting was really bad. All she did was smile and say her lines. Second, she does not look good with Kevin. She looks too old for him. Third, not much happened in this series. It was soooooooo boring!

I disagree. This series was really good. I definitely enjoyed this series, it was a nice heart-warming series that wasnt draggy and by being a light-hearted series, do u expect it to have many twisted and suspended scenes? =/ I've always been impressed with Nnadia's acting...whether is a serious or comedy role, she's able to show her emotions/expressions really well, either when she's happy or sad and when she's crying, you can actually see and feel her sadness. I felt she did a great job portraying Ah Ching and she does look good with Kevin and definitely does NOT look older than Kevin. She smiled most of the times b/c her character was supposed to be a happy-go-lucky, cheerful and down to earth person? Her character was nice and simply always happy so basically thats wat her character is all about, wat more do u expect? Not Nnadia's fault her character didnt get many emotional scenes to show more of her emotional side...even tho her emotional scenes were limited but with a few of her emotional/sad scenes, she was able to act it out nicely esp the crying scenes ( she's one of the few tvb actresses that can have tears flowing down easily w/o trying hard to force the tears out) Definitely enjoyed all of Nnadia's scenes esp when she gives of her sunshining smiles, so nice and comfortable to watch. So overall, Nnadia did a great job of portraying the happy and easy-going Ah Ching, she totally suited this role...and her chemistry with Kevin was absolutely there! You can see it in their eyes or when they sweetly smiled at each other and I esp loved the sunsetting scene when Nnadia was smiling at Kevin, soo cute and sweet! . <333 TS...Nnadia and her natural cute smiles

I disagree as well. I think nnadia plays her role really well. And in this series, you learn alot of stuff, like the importance of family and stuff. This series is good.

What are you talking about? This series is awesome! Nadia's acting has been Great, no question! She looks perfect with Kevin! Everybody love them! Their chemistry aww flying. This series supposely is light heart drama, what do you expect? Fighting, shooting, killing, gang etc....?

I will have to disagree as well. Although there was nothing out of the ordinary about this series, it was okay. I like how they explored the aspects of good friends become more than just friends, but I don't know if it's as exaggerated as it was portrayed. Nnadia was wayyy to passive about the situation, going to such lengths as avoid Kevin all togther, while still wanting to do so much for him and his family. It always has to boil down to a big event, like in the rain, with a tree falling on them to finally hit the point home. I appreciate it when things don't always go right, because it causes more twists and unexpected things to happen (like when Kevin's mom died). Oh, and morals, family should always come first (it seems).

i have to admit i agree with you a little. I wouldnt go as far as saying the series sucked....but i thought it was one of those series that will be easily forgotten.

I do agree with you on the Nadia aspect though. I have always been quite neutral towards her...but i thought in this series - all she had was a georgeous smile. Otherwise...her acting was quite plain. I guess it may be because i am not a Nadia fan ...Evyerone seems to love her...but i find her quite ordinary....

But that's just my opinion =)....everyone is entitled to an opinion =)

i disagree...i liked and enjoyed watching TS. It's true that people have different taste and maybe TS (a heart-warming series) is not your (edisonraylam/AngryBaby/etc) type of series. Another note, Nnadia's acting has always been great. If you haven't seen her earlier series, she were great in those. She was able to portray her characters very well ... no matter what types of character they were. She was able to show all the right expresisons/emotions. Therefore, her acting is not just plain..that's how her character is in TS..a down-to-earth, caring person.

BUT...we all know this is a light-hearted series from the beginning...so, i wasn't expecting much to happen..

and actually, i saw a lot of chemistry btw the 2 leads...
nadia actually did her role very well...
always being sooo happy, regardless of whether herself is happy or otherwise...
and when she's really sad, u could tell shes hiding it really well...yet we get a glimpse of her sadness despite the happy face she put on...
overall, not a series with great plot..
but definitely worth watching for the 2 leads

i agree with mouse...its not always so easy putting up a happy smiley face when ur actually not being as happy as u are showing it...nnadia did a very good job of hiding her sadness while trying to put on a happy front but yet u can see/feel her sadness through that happy face of hers.
