I saw her the first time in TLBB and I didn't like her from the begining. After a long time I think she is pretty but her acting skill is terrible. But it's just my opinion.

i don't like her. when i first found out that she would play wyy in tlbb and saw pictures of her, i was completely blown away by her beauty. but after seeing her series, i did not think she was fit for the role. she is photogenic but not as good looking on screen. and it didn't help that she can't act for her life. and after finding out that she would be playing for xln and seeing pictures of her, can't say that i can ever learn to like her. she's as cute as a button but she looks like a thirteen year old and is not suitable for the role of xln. but many guys (i assume teenage pedophilics) like her. i don't find her beautiful enough on screen for the role of xln and really, she can't act so there is even less reason for her to take on that role. plus, she was annoying in xian jian. so nope.

btw, gao yuan yuan or shui ling would have been soooooooooo much better as xln.

I think that she is beautiful and I don't really hold her acting in high regard, but she is still young. I think she can grow as an actress.

I don't even find her pretty. Cute -- maybe -- but not pretty at all. I don't know why. It just doesn't appeal to me. And the way she acts...so bland and monotnous. :< TLBB was an okay series, I liked it overall, but I skipped over most of the parts she had an active role in.

Chinese Paladin - I've seen SONF & TLBB... I never expected that she really acted very well in this series.... Although some said her character is boring... Her acting skill in Chinese Paladin is the best!!!

shui ling? nope...not possible to have shui ling. shui ling played as Mu Nan Ci in Legend of Condor Heroes...Mu Nan Ci is Yang Guo's mother. so shui ling as Yang Guo's wife??? I don't think that's possible.



You're right ell...she's improving in every series...people notice that too but they still complain...people say she's bad but yet they say " she improve from the previous series. "...they dont listen to themselves. ROCH is a big role for her. she'll definately shine in that series.

when i first saw her in TLBB, i didn't like that much until i saw her again in Chinese paladin, i just falling love with her! she is super as Zhao Linger!

I do agree that her acting in TLBB03 was not that great, but as time passes, you will notice that her acting is improving especially in Chinese Paladin, she did a fabulous job on it. I am currently waiting for ROCH like the other members

Hmm. I haven't been able to watch Chinese Paladin yet, so perhaps my opinion of her will change after watching it? It's really just that her acting was so so in TLBB and her smiles in that movie didn't seem very cheerful...always too sad for my taste. :<

it's not about if ROCH is going to be good or not...there's no doubt the series...it's one of the best series out there.

Much clearer picture and no freezing of the pictures. The scene where XLN plays the qin and a Mischievous YG runs across the water to bug her. They are really cute together! She comes across as very mature and cool. He on the other hand acts like a little kid. I didn't notice the actual age difference while they interacted. The more mature voice of the voice actress helped a bit.

I was able to pay attention to the dialogue and YG is speculating about the qin song. XLN is playing the music left behind by the founder of the tomb sect, Lum Chiu Ying. YG reasoned out that the song was very sad and reflect the founder's state of mind. She was thinking about a man. WHo could it be? Only a very powerful Martial Artist would be worthy of the Founder. The Stinking Taoist Priest, Wang Chong Yang (founder of the neighboring Chuan Chen sect)??! That's when she reprimands him with 'What are you saying.' He is really cute. He can't stand being ignored and she is very tolerant of his antics. I would have yelled at my younger siblings if they did that.

I'm not going to take anything away from Jiang Xin. She's a beautiful actress and her acting skills are good as well. beyblotch...in TLBB, Jiang Xin was a supporting cast to LYF. Jiang Xin was also a supporting cast to LYF in Chinese Paladin. Jiang Xin could never get a lead role in any major series. I hope I'm wrong because she deserve some of it. Most of the statements above you've provided are only assumptions. How or in what way is she b*t*chy/wilder than cecilia? I haven't seen any scandals or bad rumors about her. All I see is a young beautiful woman who has a lot of potential in the future. She may not be the best actress in the world but she has improve in each one of her series. She's getting her stardom right now not just because her looks but she works really hard on it. Right now in Japan, she's taking singing lessons in the morning, dancing in the afternoon, and learning Japanese at night. You say she's an 'over night celebrity' but somehow many directors handed major roles to her but she refused all of them. She wanted to focus on her singing career for now and go back to acting in the 2nd half of this year.

I'm not trying to convince you to like her. I dont even care. You're probably the only one who feels this way. I just dont understand how a person could hate someone when they don't actually know that person personally.

Shui Ling as XLN? Sorry to state but as beautiful as Shui Ling may be, she doesn't possess the pure angelic virtuous yet refreshing alluring enchantment like LYF. Just from previewing short clips of ROCH here and there provided by Crazylife123, I have already fallen in love with LYF as XLN. LYF perhaps is young but when did age determine one's potential or magnitude of talents? Again, not to offend any Shui Ling fans because each artist is very unique in their own way but Shui Ling has an evil aroma that disqualifies her from portraying a successful XLN.

LYF is by far the most amazing new actress amongst several gorgeous ladies. Not only is LYF charmingly beautiful in ancient clothing but her acting abilities are quite convincing. Her emotional crying talents are magnificent. The gentle tears that quickly damp her rosy cheeks create such sorrow in the room, the audience actually cries along to release her endured pain and did I mention that this is just a serial? When LYF's character becomes angry, hurt, or injured, the audience seems to be coughing out blood next to her: that is amazing! And you don't call that great acting skills??

Most of LYF's roles are supposedly calm, weak, and silent; therefore, it may seem like there's nothing much to the range of her acting abilities but I believe her roles are actually the most difficult to portray. I mean, to retain one's facial expression to an emotionaless state that conveys the mixed emotions through not words but only tears, that is quite difficult to achieve.

From watching interviews and Behind the Scene clips of LYF, she is quite shy because maybe stardom is something new to her. She's still very young and being in the spotlight is quite uncomfortable so she has to slowly adjust. Wild? I don't know and I could really care less because that is her personal attribute so to prohibit her from having fun is not and should not be my concern.

Everyone said that LYF improve so much from those recent clips..while HXM didn't do so well. LYF surprises everyone including myself...so far she's doing an excellent job. i wanted to see her in DoMD but she turn it down. maybe the role as wei xiao bao's wives arent that special..but i know she's busy instead. i'm hoping to see her in HSDS though. LYF and Yang Mi together in HSDS would be really good.

I don't use to like her before because I felt that she was not suitable for some roles. Recently, I finally got a chance to watch the Chinese Paladin and I think she did a great job in it. Although her role is not exciting or anything but she managed to make the character shine and some scenes she did was very emotional. She and Hu Ge really match eventhough she's much younger than him. I can see that she'll develop to a good actress one day. I don't think we should really bring out her old series to comment on her acting skills bc she was so young back then. It's better to judge her from recent films.

Tian Long Ba Bu -
When I went to rent this series I was aware of who LYF was because of her pictures I've seen around. I must say she was so beautiful in this series but her acting ehhh needed improving. However that was her 2nd series so cut her some slack will yah?

Chinese Paladin -
I haven't yet finished this series because I'm waiting for subtitles. However all the episodes I've watched so far showed me LYF did improve a lot. Her expressions were very cute & lively IMO. This was the series that caused me to like & support her. It really depends though...everyone has different opinions.
