Fiona Yuen's Thoughts with Canadian Valentine
Fiona Yuen released her fourth cookbook yesterday that concentrates on lovers dishes and at the launch event yesterday, she prepared a special Valentines menu that took just six minutes to prepare. As tomorrow is Valentines Day, she says she does not have a date, so she has chosen tomorrow to move into her new home.

Fiona was earlier snapped on a date with a man who was later dubbed her 'Chef Boyfriend'. She says that he has since returned to Canada and they will be spending Valentines Day apart. Asked whether he has made any gestures, she says: "I don't know. Maybe I will send him an SMS, but I have not prepared a present, because it will be difficult to get it to him. If we are dating, then he will send me a more thoughtful present, so I will wait and see what happens, hopefully he will give me a surprise."

Has she made a Valentines meal for this man? Fiona says that she does not know him very well and they were just introduced to each other by a Canadian friend, so she has not had the opportunity yet. Since the news broke, there has been quite a following in Canada and she feels that this has led to him becoming more reserved. They still keep in touch by phone though.

Fiona Yuen is being Rushed into Marriage
Fiona Yuen took part in a Chinese New Years Eve event earlier and she planned to spend the evening having a reunion dinner with her family and celebrating her brother's birthday. Tonight, she has planned to go and watch the fireworks with her friends and asked if she will be meeting her Canadian boyfriend, she smiles: "I don't have a boyfriend! That friend is in Canada and I have sent him an SMS to wish him a happy new year!"

In the New Year period, Fiona says it is unavoidable to be hurried into marriage by her family and friends, but her friends are afraid of having one less partying companion. Fiona laughs that she would like to keep all her friends and have a boyfriend as well!

Fiona Yuen Wants to Enter Food and Drink Industry
Fiona Yuen has taken part in a fair number of food and drink programmes and has also released her own cookbooks, so she has strong links to the gourmet industry already. Recently, she was invited by TVB to be a presentation guest at the "Gourmet Kings Awards 2007". Appearing at the press conference for the event, Fiona was deep in conversation with all the gastronomists at the event and she smiles that she is taking the opportunity to gain more skills and experiences in cooking.

Fiona says that she is happy to appear with a 'gourmet' image and maybe in the future, she would like to enter the catering industry. She reveals that she hopes in two years time to have her own restaurant, so she is busy working hard at her research now.

Although she is a dab hand at making desserts, Fiona hopes that her restaurant will cater for many different types of food. Asked if she is ready with just two years to go, she syas that for now she is looking for investors, but she has found one or two already. Asked if she would like to win an industry award, she smiles of course she does because her cooking has been complimented in the past and this gives her great satisfaction, so she will work hard at testing her dishes in the hope she can gain more experience.

Fiona Yuen Basks in New Love
At a charity show earlier, Fiona Yuen was quizzed about the news that her ex-boyfriend Thomas Wu has found a new love with Sabrina Chao. She says that she knows Sabrina and is happy for the couple: "They are both the sporty type, so they are well matched! I wish them happiness, even though we cannot be together."

Asked if she has felt jealous of the new romance, Fiona denies this and says: "I am feeling very sweet at the moment." Fiona reveals that although she is apart in different countries with her current boyfriend, she will keep her computer at hand so she can chat with him on the internet. Fiona Yuen Will Not be Travelling Bride
The premiere for "The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" was screened in Hong Kong earlier and many celebrities attended the show, including Eric Suen, Kelvin Kwan, Fiona Yuen, Vinci Wong, Rosemary and Ana R. Fiona joined good friend Vinci and his sister to watch the film.

Asked how her boyfriend was, Fiona says that he will be visiting Hong Kong soon, but not to marry her. They have only been dating for a few months and as they are apart, their phone bills have been very high every month. Will she consider going to Canada to be with her boyfriend and count the money for him? She smiles that the Canadian Dollar has risen lately, but she is accustomed to life in Hong Kong and she feels that life in Canada will be quite boring. Asked if her boyfriend will come to Hong Kong,she says that for him to let go of his businesses is not something that can happen overnight. She says directly that after many different relationships, she has a very practical approach now.

Twelve Artistes Go Work For ATV; Fiona Yuen Gets Double Her Pay at TVB

Yesterday, ATV held the first gathering for newly signed artistes of 2008. The artistes who attended were Fiona Yeung, Mini Kung, Ling Yeung, Angel Ho, Tak Fan Au-Yeung, and Kai-Tai Cheng. They are the twelve new artistes joining ATV. At the gathering, there were ATV executives.

After joining ATV, Fiona will mainly be a host. Her pay will be double the pay at TVB. She expressed that at the end of January, she was in Beijing taping an Olympic special for ATV. She introduces different Olympic athletes and the locations of the games. But she didn’t get the chance to interview athletes yet.

Mini and Ling will host a women’s show. Mini expressed that a host will have a consistent schedule so it will be convenient for her to take care of her child. She will consider filming series when her child grows older because the schedule for filming is inconsistent. Ling signed a two year contract with ATV. She has not appeared on screen for five years. The day before her first day of filming, she was so nervous that she couldn’t sleep. But she is becoming well-adjusted to the job now.

Fiona Yuen is not in a harry to get married yet

Fiona is such a good cook that she always cooks for her family and her boyfriend. She can make somebody a very good wife. "I am an expert of cooking soup. It is ashamed that my boyfriend is a restaurant owner, he is very fussy with food. He said my cooking is OK only." Fiona has been going out with her Canadian boyfriend for about 18 months now. She went to visit him in Canada earlier on and they were on holiday together. It was reported her future mother-in-law was asking them to get married soon. "We may get married in a year's time at the earliest. Our relationship is very stable. There is no rush for us to get married yet."

Fiona Yuen 33 years old will get married at the end of the month. She will get married to Anthony who owns 7 restaurants in Canada. Fiona has recieved a 2 carat diamond proposal ring and her wedding banquet will be held on the 28th March at Deep Water Bay golf club.

Recently the couple have been contacting friends and family to share the good news. The reporter phoned Fiona and she sweetly admitted that she was getting married. She said "I have been dating for 2 years. Half a year ago he proposed to me. He is a very stable person. There isn't really a romantic story of how he proposed.
