Nancy Wu injured while filming new series

Nancy Wu who has been working on Simple Clothed Soothsayer, earlier was injured. The reflecting board was to have hit her slightly. Nancy says, “The injury has healed a lot. Luckily it was the reflecting board that hit me, not a light! Or else to injury would be more serious!” When her dad heard that she was injured, he quickly wanted her to go and pray in the temple. Nancy says, “I don’t believe that injuries are caused by something superstitious. At the time there were a lot people so a little bump could have caused the reflecting board to fall on me!”

omg.. after a long time and after watching Aqua Heroes again. I just noticed Nancy. Such a small part ..

She's such an underrated actress. After her role as wan wan, no more shinning roles from TVB. Actually never noticed her in all the series listed above NJAPF. wow.

Nancy is Hit in the Face

Frankie Lam, Nancy Wu, John Chiang and Derek Kok were filming in Nam Sang Village for new series "Simple Clothed Soothsayer", when rising young starlet Nancy was injured whilst waiting for her shot by a falling light reflector. She was sitting to one side waiting to be called, when suddenly a strong wind blew over the reflector board behind her and the whole thing fell over. As it fell, the steel frame brushed past her face as it crashed to the ground. Poor Nancy was so shocked that she burst out crying as she felt the pain on her face.

The crew quickly inspected Nancy's injuries and gave her an ice pack to soothe her face. After a while, Nancy found that there was a scratch on her face and she had a sharp pain in her left shoulder. She asked: "Will it leave a scar?", to which Frankie replied: "Have you bought your lottery ticket today? You really are the lucky one!" Derek joined in, saying "TVB don't have a scarred female lead, you're bound to get famous now!" With the two men cheering her up, Nancy overcame the tears to bring up a smile.

After resting for a while, Nancy said: "There are a lot of action shots in the show, but I managed them all fine. I never imagined I would be injured by just sitting down! (Are you afraid of scarring?) Of course, as a female artiste, your appearance is very important. I hope there won't be a scar." Frankie comforted her saying: "You're lucky it didn't hit you on the head, you got away quite lightly." Nancy later carried on with filming, showing her professionalism and the director did his part by finishing earlier to let her get some rest.

oh man i hope she's o.k....but it's nice to hear she's getting along with her co-workers and other artists and is not having any conflicts.. Frankie Lam, and derek seems to be pretty nice to her trying to cheer her up when she's worrying about the scar on her face.

wow i never knew nancy won a singing contest. i woudl love to hear her sing. i think tvb should promote her more. i think she is the prettiest grl in tvb right now even though she like a 3rd 4th string actress. i just like the way she looks. havent really seen her in a series in a long time but i hope i dont have to wait long for ten brothers.

Nancy Pays her Respects at Ghost Festival

Nancy Wu was filming for "Simple Clothed Soothsayer" earlier and in response to questions about her earlier accident where a part of the scenery fell on her, she indicates that her injury is gradually getting better now: "The bruise on my shoulder and face is much better now and I am lucky it was just the reflector that fell and not the lamp itself, otherwise that would have been disastrous." When her father found out that she had been injured, he immediately told her to go and pay her respects for the ghost festival so that the spirits are contented. Nancy says: "As Nam Sang Village is in a rural area, there may be spirits about, but I don't believe that my injury is caused by them because it was during the day and there were many people there. I think it was just an accident."

Yesterday Deep Ng invited rumored girlfrend Nancy Wu to film his new song 第三者 (roughly translated, Third Party)'s music video. Deep's left eye has an infection and he was made fun of that when he saw pretty Nancy, his eyes 'exploded'. (lol, sorta hard to translate it).

In the music video, Deep acts as a photographer, and is taking wedding pictures with new bride Nancy Wu and the groom who is played by a male model. Deep and Nancy were always talked about that they wouldn't leave each other by the reporters, and they were asked if they were dating. Deep said smirking, "I've already answered before! Now ask again ... ... If I am really her boyfriend, I would immediately 'book' the groom's position la!"

Deep and Nancy has plenty of holding hands and affectionate scenes in the mv, but for many times, Nancy couldn't hold it back and laughed out loud. She explained, "It was not awkward, it's because I'm too familiar with him, now I 'need his affection', it really is funny."
