I was just watching "When Rules Turn Loose" and they kept saying how their lives weren't like what you see in the TV series. It just really bugs me because they are in a TV series. It just draws me away from watching it. This is not the only series that does it either. A lot of the recent modern series say that too. How annoying!

i think the annoying thing about series these days is....i always see the same actress and actors over and over again...i mean its good that theyre getting promoted, but it gets boring and annoying to see the same ppl over and over again

I think the most annoying thing is the predicatable elements...like Lost in the Chamber of Love. Omg it was sooo annoying. ok so theres the obvious
- "the girl falls and the guy catches her = love at first sight" thing.
-"Oh I have to leave because I'm not good enough for you" one.
- "Your family is rich and I'm poor so we can't be together"

And it happens in a billion other series too

yeah, we see so much of that "this isn't a TV show, get real!" thing on TV series... it's pretty annoying, but then again most of the TVB shows are pretty cliché. another thing that kinda annoys me is when they use the actor's real name in the series... like in My Family, there was this scene where Rebecca Chan picked up the phone and was like "Fong Lik Sun? you've got the wrong number, sorry!" (cuz Alex Fong Lik Sun was in that series too...)

or in Reaching Out, when Gordon commented that Benny was a good actor and Benny replied with "I'm not as good as Chan Ho Man!" (Chan Ho Man = Benny himself...)

it's just cheesy jokes like that where nobody laughs that turns me off...

they kill off cast just like that.. i mean.. why???? like in TA.. they kill of michael miu and in TOB< they killed of raymond. i mean.. hello.. is there a difference??? i believe it does, no doubt.. but why!!!!

seeing the same people on the screen, or predictable plots. the rest, i can stand

Also in ancient series when the main character is about to be executed for some crime,you know 99.9% of the time it won't happen because someone will arrive in the nick of time to stop the execution.

Thats just silly,TVB wants to create excitement this way but people already know whats going to happen so there's no excitement anymore.

The one thing that annoys me the most in series is when a great series has a bad ending. That and seeing actresses or actors getting main parts when they just can't act and ruin the whole series.

i hate it when series drag..
but of course ppl who can't act yet have an important role are so annoying as well...

Really hate it when they put in little things just to fill up time, sometimes it really doesn't make sense ><

They pretty much have the same concept in all the series and the endings are all the same...jeez i wish my life was like that...everything work out in the end and no one seems to care about money

what annoys me sometimes is that alot of the dramas, they're always sitting around somewhere eating in the more modern series

they like to do that thing where the girl and guy goes around and around in the same area w/o running into each other

OMDs exactly....... i think this has been used for more than 20 years.

For me, nothing can get more annoying than love triangles....... or even 4ways love dilemmas. U name it. It just takes forever to sort out the realtionship problems and it gets so annoying as TVb recycle these over n over again only using different actors and actresses

but if u dont have these annoying things, then wut r u gona watch right? there isnt realy much to write about

i hate it when err.. in some ancient dramas, there are wars sometimes, during the battle, the soldier behind are fighting without passion, i mean without the intense. there is only intensity between the main characters.
sorry i don't really know whether i express it correctly or not...
this thing kind of annoys me.

u see the main people fighting awesome, yet all the background ppl are doing is simple hits like holding a spear and hitting down as though it was play fighting...if they are trying to have a war/fight scene, at least make it more realistic

it bothers me that in a lot of series the lead characters get together at the airport. is there not other places where people can realize they need each other?? and y does the weather always reflect how the person is feeling?

I was just watching Lost in the Chamber of Love... I love Kenneth, yeah, I love Power Chan, and Nancy Wu... but the thing about about this series...is they just didn't talk anything else except for LOVE, LOVE, and LOVE.... and there are lots of traditional "TVB fomulas"

Also, I think they have the same writers for the series that follow the same TVB formula, so we keep seeing the same thing again and again. I think the most refreshing so far are the writers for War and Beauty, so that's why I think Dance of Passion will be a good series.
