HONG KONG (AP) - Jackie Chan's new TV ad for Diet Pepsi will debut during the Super Bowl broadcast this Sunday - a coveted time slot because of its high ratings - the action star's website has announced.

The 30-second ad Stunt Can, shot in Los Angeles in August, features Chan filming an action movie with a Diet Pepsi can, according to a news report from the website of Adweek magazine posted on Chan's official website.

Actor Jay Mohr, who played a sports agent in the movie Jerry Maguire, plays the can's agent, the report said. He reportedly insists his client gets a stunt double.

Chan's office didn't immediately return a call seeking more details on the ad.

The Super Bowl is the National Football League's championship game.

why is it only diet pepsi. i prefer regular pepsi. jackie chan should have done that one for the super bowl. anything over coke.

Whoa this commercial must be very expensive to air and make for Pepsi company! I mean to have it air on Superbowl Sunday i heard cost them A LOT! I am really interested in seeing what this commercial is like since i don't recall seeing Jackie Chan in many commercial ads. Something new to see!

PEPSI's ad often use young and shining star...with blue hair and clothes....but I can't imagine Jacky Chan in "blue"!!!! lol

I'd like to watch the ad cos I haven't got a clue what its about reading the above..but jackie chan won't make me drink pepsi..haha! I personally think the asia line up of pepsi stars are real cool, jay, edison, nic tse, louis koo, f4..but I don't like jolin.

i saw a clip of the ad on Access Hollywood. Looks ok. Jackie did a commerical for mountain dew a few yrs back. He also did 1 for Hefty trash bags...the one that stretches.

It was fun to watch Jackie jumping to the wall. Hope there is more of Jackie in the future for the pepsi Ads.

That commerical is SO FUNNY; its a smart one too! I love it. Its the first commerical I've every seen Jackie Chan act in in the USA. I wonder if he plays to do anymore commericals or more movies in the USA.

I saw this ad on TV...haha. He had one or two lines but of course, stunts also. It wasn't that bad, but it bashed Diet Coke though. Kinda expected.

I like the pepsi commercial with jimmyu fallon..he dances funny with the girl. Theres a local commercial that jackie chan was a part of about homeless people in TOronto. He just smiled to the camera but I didn't expect to see him so it was surprising lol.

i seen the ad..its pretty funny...him doing a stunt then later on the can does a stunt so they pause it and bring in a coke then paly it again while ppl step on it..haha

i guess the advertisement is more geared towards the US population, cuase i have never seen commecial from him before!!
