This movie was pretty good... It was weird how he became a part of the triad and his lil crew was funny....

i decided to watch this series afterall..knowing it's a tear jeaker...i must say i just hate that the evil girl..............
Le wan is so hot though.........he's the reason why i stick throughout the whole series..if the series was any longer..i dont think i can bare it..the main character goes through so much pain and agony...it's so sad...

ei i just want to ask if anyone of you are watching tree in heaven(heaven's tree)
because i really love this korean drama...im a filipino but it realy touched my heart...
it makes me cry whenever i hear its song, whenver i watch it....

Hana is a bright young girl who lost her father at a young age. When her mother returns to Japan, she comes with her new Korean husband and his son Yunsuh. Yunsuh's mother died during his 10th birthday and after her death, he becomes autistic. While Hana is fond of her new step-brother, he wants nothing to do with her. When their parents leave on their honeymoon, Hana's mother leaves the children with her deceased husband's sister who will manage their inn during the trip. While they are gone, the aunt and her daughter Maya abuse Hana and make plans to sell the inn in order to pay for gambling debts and college. Despite all of this, Hana finds comfort in her brother who begins to open up to her and eventually speaks after ten years. Park Shin Hye does such a good job in this drama, shes so cute. Tree of Heaven is the best K-DRAMA

I like it... too sad though. At first I didnt enjoy it, there was a lot of crying [i was amazed that they could cry over just a little thing... but then near the end .... waaah... it's so sad ]

it's sad and all that but the thing that i hate about it is the fact that hana's brother don't know how to fight, damm.... he's so weak.... not to be mean but if he knew how to fight the movie would be really good.

yeah ur right, but fighting was not the point of the story in this drama. Its about how he sacrificed himself to give Hana a better life.

I loved this drama but I'm still waiting to see the end (because I knew how it ends)... I started to cry in ep.04 and by ep. 07 I had to stop watching it .... so sad....

heaven's tree was the best movie of 2006 that i've seen so far...in 2005, it was my name is kim sam soon and 2006 was heaven's tree...it's really sad...i don't see why they can't be together...i mean they have different fathers + mothers and it's not like they grew up together since little kids (that would've been weird)...they meet as adults (or late teens)...anyway...good tear-jerker...i'm embarrassed to say this, but i cried while watching this movie...love the two characters....they both good for such young actors!

Anyway... this is definitely my favorite drama at the moment. It had such a touching storyline. Even though everything about it was probably used in other dramas, I still loved every single bit of it. I just couldn't stop crying when I watched the last episode...

this series. omgosh. -.- it reminded me of STH. ahh it annoyed me to death. lee wan... WHY DID YOU HAVE TO CUT YOUR HAIR?! T_T i feel bad for lee wan in the series. everything he did for parkshinhye and he ends up dying for her. the other guy was sad too. he must have really loved hana and stood by her through all the times she was with lee wan. this series was okay. man after hana and lee wan get through one obstacle in their relationship, another pops up. like fate don't want to bring them together

gosh, this drama is so sad. i couldn't stop crying while watching it. hehe. i just finished watching it (finished in 2 days). lee wan ish so cute! why does he have to die! so sad. they should live happily ever after. they acted really good in this drama. aniways, i still like the drama. I've recently finished watching this drama and I have to admit that the main draw of the series is Lee Wan.

He has the most expressive eyes I've ever seen on an actor. The first few episodes when he didn't have any dialogue were, what I think, the best. The fierce sadness in his eyes when he looked at Hana in the beginning, the look of stark betrayal in his eyes when he saw her with her senpai and the tortured gaze he pinned her with when she refused to admit that she loved him... I would think that the saving grace of this series is Lee Wan's expressive eyes and Park Shin Hye's tears.

She can really cry. The last episode when she was looking at the drawings Yoon-Suh did of her was really heart-breaking. Though the storyline has been done to death, it still made me cry.

This series is a good watch during a rainy afternoon when you're feeling lonely.

And of course, a must-watch for all Lee Wan's fans!

Wahh!!! i really really really really ...etc...liked this drama soo much better than the ones i have been watching as of lately...

other than the fact that Hana cried over every little thing (i guess it's understandable, she changed from a good life to a bad life...) I LOOOOVVVVVVVEEE this drama!!! my fav. for all eternity...i thought the beginning was a little bit dragged...but ep5 + was sooo good! i never cried so much watching a movie or drama!!! (excluding The Classic, that was really sad as well...)

i personally though Lee Wan looked better with shorter hair. btw, i absolutely luv his crew!! soo funny!

I just finished watching this series and I think that it is really good...the ending's sad yet touching though...I thought that the best bits are only after Hana and Yun Seo were separated for 2 years...because by then Yun Seo protected Hana without her knowing which was really touching, the best bits showed up and everyone got really gorgeous...

I didn't really notice the both of them that much in Stairway to Heaven since they are not the main characters...but still liked them nevertheless...

Lee Wan is really HOT in Tree of Heaven!!! But only with his haircut later on...so cool...with the black clothing...lolz...it's so amazing to know that he is Kim Tae Hee's brother...only after I knew that I saw the similarity in them...their eyes in particular...so lucky parents to have such gorgeous children...

I was really shocked when I found out that Park Shin Hye was the same age as me...16!!! I thought she would be at least 18...

Overall, great acting by the both of them...really great learning Japanese from this series...lolz...looking forward to Lee Wan and Park Shin Hye together again!!

I just finish this drama, one of the best sad drama of 2006. Park Shin Hye and Lee Wan acting were exellent. I thought PSH and Lee Wan look so kute together They had a strong chemistry, very good. Hana and Yoon Suh love were so beautiful and pure as the snow. The setting of this drama is so beautiful and romantic, i love seeing snow. And the quotes/lines in this drama were so sweet, so romantic, so touching...I'm speechless. haha Recommended drama!! But if you're not a sad drama (melo-drama) fan then you should definitely watch this, if you're a fan of STH, you shoud should definitely see this one!!

i saw stairway to heaven a while ago and i loved it! hope heaven's tree is good. the guy lead looks pretty kool. they're both in stairway to heaven as well. the story looks interestin so lookin forward to it^^

I thought episodes 1-5 were a bit draggy, but after that, it got really good! I liked this series and it was nicely cast. The actors were great, especially Lee Wan and Park Shin Hye.

I just finished watching this over the weekend. The ending was sad! I cried...and I normally don't when I watch dramas.

i just finished this drama, i think she cries too much, like when it's not even necessary, i think this was kinda like stairway to heaven but stairway to heaven is waay better, but in my opinion. i love the music in this series tho

the drama was just too much for me~ ordinary im not watching sad movies and stuff at all (and i know why~~) after the 3rd episode i was crying the 1st time, and thought "omg u cant watch it to the end, ull collapse!" so i looked for spoilers~ read tem and thought: "OKAY, now you can watch the rest of it" (all just for lee wan ) so everythign was ok, until the last episode~~ the spoiler was WRONG so it was a different ending, i was crying a river, ordinary im not crying (well because im not watchin sad movies xD) but the last 15 minutes were hell for me
i liked the first 3 episodes the most, especially the 3rd, just the way he opened his mind and that~~ *haiz* plus, i dont think he is better looking with short hair

by the way~ can someone get autistic with 10 years? i thought it just can happen in the first years of your life~ and, in the end he isnt autistic anymore, so~ can it go away? i think not~ thats a bit unrealistic i think, because ive seen autistic people when i was working in a children home, and they were totally different~~

From what I know, you are born autistic and it never completely goes away. You can't just develop it at 10 and then have it disappear later on. I thought the fact that he went from being reclusive and untalkative to talking and acting like a normal human being very unrealistic.

No, you're not born as autistic, but you get autistic when ur a baby. for example when a baby lies outside and a plane is flying in the sky, if the baby gets really shocked it might get autistic afterwards. so u arent born as autistic, u get autistic after a big shock, but as far as the social workers told me its just in the first years of your life... + autistic people dont have any relationships with other people. they cant love anyone.

so~~ he wasnt autistic then because if he wouldnt love his mum and hana...

but still, i rewatched the first 3 episodes last night, they are so sad, i can feel the pain of lee wan...

Ah okay, thanks for the clarification. Lee Wan's character isn't very realistic as an autistic person but the love story is still touching.
