OMG!! i didnt know that it ended like that! I knew from Mvs that Yoon Suh and Hana both had car accident and Yoon Suh died. But i didnt know that Yoon Suh gave his heart to her! That is soo touching!! Wish that there was a happy ending to this! Im only on episode 5 cant wait to watch the rest! Ive been crying for days now because i watched 'Autumn in my heart' a few days ago and now this!! All this korean Drama is too much for me!! But still i love it!

OMG...This is like the best sad serie i have ever watched... this is like the first serie i've cried so much in... especially in the end..i cried m head off....and every time i hear that "What should i do" song by Shin Seng Hoon .. (i think thats his name)...i always cry.(Lol) ....and Park Shin Hye can cry good...Gosh..lol...anyways This is a RECOMMEND..every1 watch it...

I HATE KOREAN DRAMAS BUT I LOVE THEM SO MUCH...this series made my heart ache...and somehow thinking unrealistically...that if she accepted him 2 years ago, without thinking too much then none of that would've happened...argh...

yet they're just such a loving couple and credits to the young characters...so good...so full of feeling...

the girl...shes only 16 and she can act out all those feelings that she may have never experienced before...i guess there were no direct kissing scenes between them due to her age...

but its such a lovely drama...i flooded my eyes...

Oh my god this movie was Short and SWEET! It was a very good drama....by the end of it...I swear I felt like my heart was being ripped out too...I was so into it. But you knew that something like that would happen in the end. I like the symbolism of the cross necklace, the protective-ness of the the cross (like god watching over you as well as her brother) and it would always show up when she needed it most. This was definately a tear jerker....*sniff sniff*

Plus I love Lee Wan...but I thought he looked better in Snow White (aka Taste Sweet Love)

I saw the necklace on E-bay and was tempted to buy it....but didn't in the end.

This is one of the most heartwarming and touching korean series that i've ever watched... Lee Wan and Park Shin Hye look good together... eventhough Lee Wan is a bit older than Park Shin Hye, he was still able to portray a good character... I'm now on the last episode of the drama series, ac2ly i've read a lot of spoilers regrding the ending... it's a bit frustrating... in my opinion. because I wanted them to end up together... but i really enjoyed watching this series...

this series kinda reminds me of stairway to heaven...but i hav to say, lee wan is sooo hot!!! loved him ever since from stairway to heaven!!! hes doing a very good job!!! and omfg park sin hye is in it!!! omfg both from stairway to heaven!!! they didnt pair up before but i liked them together and now they pair up!!!

Overall this movie is pretty good. Hasn't finished watch it yet tough but this is another sad movie :S :S :S :S.

i just finished watching episode 2. so far i like it. lee wan is soooo handsome. he's the reason why i'm watching this. ohh...and the story too of course hehehe

i thought tree of heaven was great.... i didn't cry much but still i enjoyed it..... the ending was sad and lee wan was HOTTER than i ever seen him (luved him with the haircut).... what can i say.... IT WAS A GOOD SERIES and i recommend it .....

I knew about this series some time ago but only started to watch it last week and finished watching the last episode today. The story does have alot of similarities to STH, but then it's reasonable since it's the same director. The series was overall quite good, great acting from the cast (the main and the 2nd leads) and beautiful scenery. I like how the characters changed throughout the story. Even though Maya was the villain...I actually ended up liking her more than Hana. As some of you have mentioned I too found she cried too much, practially in every episode and her character was rather weak.
It seems like I'm the odd one here, as I didn't cry while watching the series, not even once. I don't know why really...
The only scene that nearly brought me to tears was when Hana watched the clip of Ys on her cellphone.

omg...i onli just watched this serious last wk...i watched it all in one day...and i cried so much

i really liked this during the first few episodes... but after a while it got draggy, so i stopped watching...

this drama was super sad!! it was actually my first melodramatic korean series, but i didn't cry at all, and i loved it!!!

i got to dislike maya so much towards the second half, and i really applauded with yoon suh punched maya!! i loved it even more considering the fact that men usually don't hit women in any other series.

i didn't like all that crying from hana either. she got her love that was more beautiful than snow...

does anyone know how yoon-suh got mixed up with the gang?? i believe they left the explanation out of the series...

I like lee wan in this series.. he's role is dark and mysterious, unlike his previous role in lets go to the beach and snow white.. He's acting is really good..

I enjoyed watching this series.. it made me cry.. i thought, how could those sad people tolerate all those pain.. it seems that they were never happy unless they are together..

Yes, it's true indeed. Lee wan's character is really mysterious, so different.

It is sad and I hate the fact that they make Lee wan died in the end (although it's obvious as we can see from the title). But he's such a tragic character though, it seems that he can never experience happiness for a long time.

So this male lead called LEE WAN gonna die in the end.....I think I want 2 call shipwreck now...half-way...He has autism and he dies in the end......sad, super sad......super-duper sad!

the best kdrama i've watched this year. great acting, nice story line and a powerful chemistry of Lee Wan and Park Shin Hye. i hope that both will be recognized in any awardgiving bodies. and i wish that they will do another romantic series but in a lighter theme.

I just finished watching this drama! boy I cried like i never cried before....such tragic but very sweet love story. one of the best kdrama i watched and the youngstars are very promising too...very good acting.......TWO THUMBS UP!

Out of topic here but how I wish that someone would love me as much as the character of Lee Wan loves PSH...they are soooo selfless

i've already finished watching this series last night..lee wan died ( hit by a car ).
because of that accident hana's heart got 'damage'. lee wan gave his heart to hana..i forgot to tell..hana was hit by car when she's running from church on her wedding day with senior ryu.

when i bought this drama vcd, i do not know any of the actors/actresses...neither was it highly promoted drama in singapore. it was just a pure feeling that attracted me when i saw the vcd.

But i don't regret buying at all, though it really 'hurts' me alot when watching yoon suh always protecting his 'sister' hana........i wished he was given a better treatment....

and what i want to 'complain' about this drama is......yoon suh didn't really get to kiss hana...instead it was miya who get to be kissed with yoon suh so often... .....maybe...maybe because hana in real life is only 16, so they can't let her do the kissing part too often.....whenever i see the scene she wanted to kiss yoonsuh, yoonsuh will give her the kind of expression that makes her embarassed and she will back off.....

this drama is definitely 100% better than STH....because it's only 12episodes on vcd.....it does not dragged too much and the focus is on both of them...rather than some dramas which tried to drag the drama to more episodes and added some unnecessary scenes/characters in it...

overall i will give it 8/10...... and i have to say lee wan acting skills is commendable....another good actor from korea.....aja aja fighting lee wan!!!

this story is so tragic, but i give them a thumb WAY..........up. they act really good, esp Lee Wan, he is so hot and fine, and can act.

i just finish the movie, and notices that the 2 main characters are the same to Lee Wan and Park Shin Hye in Stair way to Heaven. by the way, if u do notice, Lee and Park Shin Hye was in STH together, and so is this series. the characters in TIH was brother and sis love each other, then the brother end up give up his heart for the sis, the mother or guardian also treats them bad. in STH, the brother loves the sis, he end up giving the eyes to the sis, their mother treats them bad. just a little bit different that the sis loves another boy in STH.

i really enjoy this movie, so sad, there are also funny scenes, sad scenes, and romantic scenes too. u should watch it

i finished watching the last episode, i cried like crazy, i cried more than the girl though. when i was crying, and watching the movie, i shouted 'y?y?y?y? y the Lee Wan have to die? he don't deserve to die, he deserve to live with the girl he love'. i was shouting like crazy, myabe i'm a little over dramatic. (Lee Wan was so cute, and hot in this series.)

Korean series one thing i love is that they focus mainly on their theme of the topic, that's really interested me. the bad part was most of the Korean series have sad endings, the main character(s) either can't be together or die. Hate that part, b/c i love happy ending.

i do also found some similarities between the series Stairway to Heaven, Trees in Heaven, and Green Rose. i think the director of STH is also for this series, TIH, that's y they are so familiar scenes.

Trees in Heaven main characters, Lee Wan and Park Shin Hye similar and different to:

Stairway to Heaven: (Lee Wan and Park Shin Hye also in this series together as brother and sister) they have the same brother and sister relationship. Lee Wan was able to open up more after Park Shin Hye says happy birthday to Lee Wan on his birthday (so is in Trees in Heaven.) the mother was mean to them or the guardian. they also have the mean sis, or relative cousin. they also have a necklace that can be seperate. one of the main character end up died at the end which is Park Shin Hye's character. they both have a scene when the guy the girl likes wear shoes for her. they both only have a little fun time together at the end. the brother also give his eyes, but in Trees in Heaven gives heart, just a slightly different. another different is that the girl don't love the bro.

Green Rose: Lee Wan and So Koo both left the girl, then later they come back, they're the chief, or get rich. they both trying to protect the girl secretly. they both convicted crime, but Ko Soo was blamed. Lee Wan and Park Shin Hye was able to tell each other their identity, so i guess that would be a different.

that's all i can find for now, so if ani please think this is very offensive to the movies, i am very sorry...........but i like to compare series so i can tell the best one for the year. please forgive me.

anyway i still LOVE this series, so sad, especially at the end. the boy willing to give up his life for the girl. hihi.....i'm such a spoiler.

although i like lee wan too ..cos of his previous performance in STH, he didnt get her there in that series. I hoped the other japanese guy (here in Tree of heaven" wins hana's heart. I longed for him all along.
Up to chapter now 9, tears are starting to fall. I felt sorry for the japanese guy when he hugged hana in that hotel room - knowing he lost out to oopa.
That martial art the two did at school in chapter 0 was again heart breaking..but i did cheer when lee wan begged that guy to look after thus marry hana

what is the real name of the japanese guy?? He looks sooooo nice and is paired quite nicely with park shin hye

chapter 10 now..oh my oh my.. Why do people love watching and standing still when an accident happens..so annoying . Dial the emerency services.
I felt sorry for ryu being jilted at the altar..but i do love his love for hana as shown in the hospital scene especially when hana got knocked down.

maya..ok i must admit to not liking her esp she blamed hana for everything.. becoming a club hostess, a mistress to the mafia leader. But she changed for the better..giving herself up to killing shimada guy. I got to like her from about chapter 8.

Lee Wan's character is just the BEST

i really hope Lee Wan would pair up with Park Shin Hye again in another series. he is such a hottie. he really cry good.

KONBANWA! I like this series cos' of de' OST. I didn't watch much of STH cos' I know is another teary one!

What makes it less appealing to me was the fact that Lee Wan and Hana keep crying! Esp. Hana......she just can't control her emotions after meeting her brother, Yoon Suh right? I'm at episode 9th soon. I don't have the heart to quit watchg cos' I almost done with it.

Maya acts well here esp. when she nneds to act evil. She speaks gud Japanese but not Lee wan though. Gomenasai ppl.

Heaven Tree definitely has a lot of elements of K-dramas thrown it!

I will continue watching eventhough Yoon Suh will die in the end!
