I just finished this drama last night. Lee Wan and Park Shin Hye both were extremely good in this drama, all the cryings and yellings
I wonder why they didn't do a kissing scene..probably b/c Park Shin Hye is still young, Still they should've done like a peck or something

It was kindda draggy though. Luckily it was only 10 episodes, like a typical Jdrama but has Kdrama elements

OHAYO! Since u mentioned J-Drama, it has some elements of that sweet J-Drama called 'Strawberry on short cake' starring Takizawa Hideaki and Kyoko Fukada playg as 2 unrelated girl and boy drawn together becos' of the re-marryg of their father/mother. But this one ends tragically! The J-version was sweet and romantic cos' both fall in love, and ended well! I know this drama will hit Japanese audience cos' it just has J-elements besides K-ones!

i just finished and series and it turned out pretty good. in the first couple of episodes, i thought it was lagging and a little boring. but after they grew up, all the excitement began. i feel like psh cried way tooo much in here. there are moments when i want her to say something instead of just crying and saying oppa. i like lee wan's hair in the beginning so much but too bad he cut it after haha. the transformation was amazing and i loved how he's serious at times and able to have fun other times. i cried in the end and it sucks the way it ended... ryu looks pretty cute, i felt bad for all that he did but hana still doesn't belong to him

the series just ended...hahah..dis is my 2nd time watching this touching series..the girl's so pretty..i admire her since her role in stairway to heaven "little jungsuh"...
and lee wan is soo cute...i love him...he really is a good actor..he cried so well in the series...so sad ending yet very touching.....! nice ost also! hope to watch it next month...my 3rd time already..! so long fanatics!

This movie is the best!!! I think that Lee Wan (i think thats how u spell it) and Park Shin Hye makes such a great couple.....!!

I was really disappointed in this drama. It was too much of a copy of Stairway to Heaven especially the neckalace too. And the main female character was the child version of the main female character in Stairway to heaven. I say that the drama didnt get interesting until like the last 2 or 3 episodes for me.

Oh, I haven't finished the show yet but i must take this opportunity to compliment on the acting skills of the main lead actors, lee wan and park shin hye.

Frankly speaking, the only reason of why I watched goong2 was because of PSH, omg she has really mature into a princess in Prince Hours. Highly recommended for all to watch.

I finished the series in 1 day. This series isn't bad and it was really sad, I thought it was like a SHORTER VERSION to "Stairway to Heaven". Many of the scenes from "Tree of Heaven" were very similar to "STH", except this time the girl is telling the story and the guy ends up dead in the end. Lee Wan is pretty hot but I thought the girl looked a little too young for the role. Both Male leads looked a lot older than her even if they were close to age in real life. Anyways I did enjoy it, but wished it had a better ending. ("Stairway to Heaven" was much better and sad-der though, this was like a copy of it)

it's so sad that i couldn't manage to watch the whole thing, mainly cuz she keeps on crying every since 5mins! and yes, she is young for the role. but it's a good drama tho, i loved those mafia guy, especially the two chubby ones when they were selling ramen. and LEE WAN is awesome!!

mmm haven't watched this series yet but after hearing that it's only 10 episodes and it's pretty good, i might watch it. it's the same childhood characters from stairway to heaven. they probably should've gotten different characters for this so it woulodn't get confusing with STH.

Hana was sick after the crash, and that guy has to donate his heart to Hana... If he didn't donate his heart to her, she would have died. Man that's really sad.

By the way...is track 15 really sang but LEE WAN? His voice sounded GOOD! I hope he has an album coming out I'm sure going to buy it.

well like i said it said it featured him singing that song lol, i didn't hear anyone else singing in the background or taking over so i am assuming that it was him singing the whole song. if it is he has a very nice voice...

This is a top series. I have seen over 35 Korean drama series and this would easily be in the Top 10. Excellent cast, super soundtrack and it doesn't drag on too long like some other dramas. I won't spoil the ending but this is one drama that is definitely worth watching.

This show is one of the best!!!! i think its really good. and refreshing cos its not too draggy. only 10 eps! recommended to watch. and the cast is really good looking!

Who agrees with me that the Japanese guy resembled a bit like TVB male actor, Bosco?

Both of them are tall and slim, and have big eyes. Even his Japanese/korean voice sounded almost like him.

omg i just finished watching this series, its so addictive. i love it so much. my favourite scene would be where they meet on his birthday and he takes her out and then she buys the red jacket. i also like it how he's always there for her, like when she left Mayas house and she was eating noodles and he just appears and on the bus too. omg WHY WHY??? did he have to cut his hair like that, he looked so much better with the hair he had at the start. i still wished there could have been more revenge taken out on Maya and her mother coz i hated them so much
the song "suh shin" by Jung woo is so nice, i cant stop listening to it, does anyone have the english translation for that song?

OH MY GOSH!! SUCH A GOOD SERIES! At first I didn't really like it because the main actress wasn't that pretty and it seemed like she wore clothes that didn't match her. But all of that doesn't really matter because her acting skills in this series is great. Oh and I'm a HUGE fan of Lee Wan! I thought that Yoon-suh was so much cooler when they moved away from the house and he becomes gangster. He had like a totally personality change. Anyways. GREAT SERIES.

at the end, either one will have to die... after the bloody accident, hana was the one who was left half dead. they could have just let her die off like in other sad, romantic dramas, but yoon-suh chose to save her with his life. it's a conclusion to their beautiful love story.

Wow, to be honest, I'm kinda surprised that SOOOO many people liked this drama! I say that because, even though I did like it overall, there were so many things that were just ridiculous and didn't make sense. And it's not the unrealistic cuz it's a drama kind of unrealistic, what I mean is that it didn't make sense. SPOILERS AHEAD First of all, didn't anyone else notice there were TWO necklaces through a good portion of the drama? They'd show Hana with it, and then they'd show YoonSuh with it, and it makes you wonder how the other person got it, only to realize..THEY DIDN'T! It's cuz there are TWO necklaces!! If you don't believe me, go to the scene where Hana throws the necklace off the train before she goes back to her hometown (I think it's episode 9). When YoonSuh picks it up, you can see he's already wearing one. And at the end they make it just one necklace again. And then there's the character of Ryu. I felt SO bad for him throughout the whole darn series cuz it's so damn obvious Hana doesn't love him, yet his character's still there..waiting ever so patiently. How can someone like that ever exist??! Although I know it's not the first time they have a character like that, and they DID kinda explain it at the end when he said he believes she'll eventually love him. I also just couldn't understand the random Maya loving YoonSuh thing. How the heck did she develop such feelings for the guy?? She NEVER even got along with him, and suddenly she's freakin' in LOVE with him??

I honestly don't mean to be complaining so much, cuz like I said overall I liked it-I really, really liked the leading actor and actress, the storyline was interesting, and there were several really touching scenes. But one of my biggest pet peeves of a drama is when things don't make sense to the point that they are ridiculous almost. Wasn't everyone also complaining that no one in the crowd tried to help the two after they freakin' got hit by a car??

I dunno though, I absolutely loved Stairway to Heaven and had never cried so much in my life when I was watching that series, but when I watched it again I started to notice all those things that didn't make sense and really criticized it even. Maybe it's cuz I've watched so many dramas by now that I notice better when things are just "drama-unrealistic" and when they're "ridiculously-unrealistic."

But to end on a good note, I'll admit the cell phone scene at the end of the last episode was very, very touching and sad.

this is one series that is just too sad for me to finish..

can believe that this series is a tear jerker, coz i thought the actors acting in the series are the young ones, so it might be a light romance.

I quite like Heaven's Tree 'cause I like Lee Wan. He looks sexy in this drama. Especially when he is back to Tokyo as Yuki. Short hair makes him sexy. And oh, I'm one of LW+PSH shipper.
