1/16/06 – Lee Wan and Park Shin Hye film their new Wednesday-Thursday drama “Tree of Heaven” in Nagano, Japan. They pose in front of a church in a snowfield. In order to show the dark and cold image in the drama, Lee Wan has lost 5kg weight within one month. LW’s role Yoon Suh (윤서) lost his mother when he was 10 years old and became autistic. His father remarries. Then he and his step-sister Hana (하나, played by Park Shin Hye) develop love relationship. The drama is scheduled to be aired by SBS on 2/8 following the final episode of “My Girl”. Also, the drama will be broadcasted by Fuji TV in April in Japan.

I just saw episode 1 today and I have a question....how come both the main leads liven with the lady with a daughter and not with their parents? I already don't like the old lady that they live with. She reminds me of the wicked stepmother in Cinderella.

The first episode with Chinese subs is out in the download section. The producers are the same as Beautiful Days and Stairway to Heaven and I loved those series so I'm definitely watching this. I haven't watched anything melodramatic since...Stairway to Heaven actually. It's 10 episodes since the drama scheduled after it is, I think, that one with Kim Rae Won.

Is the main actor also played in STH as the childhood guy? This serie is interesting espcially the main actress. Can't wait to see her.

don't you think it is quite weird that korean dramas deal with brother and step sister love relationship ? Although they are not brother and sister, if they grew up together, they must have a relationship like real brother and sister have.

Same here, I watched ep. 1 and actually ep. 2...still going with it. It is good. Its already so sad, omg... I hav a feel i'm going to cry a lot in this series. TT.TT BUT, i think it will be worth it, i hope. Yeahhh...hope it is a happy ending... i truly hope that!! -.-

yeahh, i can see why u say she looks kinda like 12 yrs old. i was like wat... she is a 1990er. pheww, dank goodness leewan is only 21 or is it 20. not that it really matters, now acting these days, age doesn't really go for it. i think they look cute together, in a way.

just finished ep 1 and 2, it seems pretty interesting, although the brother and sister thing is a little weird. i didn't even realized she's the girl form stairway to heaven, no wonder she looks so familiar.

I'M SHOCKED!!!!!

so far i have watched the first three episodes... compared to STH this looks really good... and the beginning is like an exact remake of the first episode in STH XD i personally found STH to be draggyy hopefully this one would be better since it only has 10 episodes.. i like the cast too..they don't look too bad hahaha but yeah the main theme for this drama is exactly the same as the theme for STH they both have teh same script writer guy so i guess thats why...

I like lee wan .he's very cute but i like his hair in teast sweet love hehehe want to watch this series^^

yup im a fan of hers since the LSIH days then watch her series such as Guminho, LSIH and STH and ive seen most of her CFs and also well.... She is a versatile actress... and that's what i adore to her and also she is an outstanding model and we can see she really cares for his bro lee wan heheheheh

Best melodrama I've seen since Stairway to Heaven- but then again this one is from the same producer/writers so it can explain why I love it. I adored Beautiful Days and Stairway to Heaven and this one isn't a disappointment for me. People who are watching it are impressed with Lee Wan's acting.
