Really!!! only 2 weeks to go!
I try to grab the time to watch this series & it is so hard since I'm competing with the rest of the people in the house because they are also watching other primetime shows even with 2 sets of TV at home. So usually I'm able to watch the late night replays & but most of the time I'm already so sleepy. I only get to update myself by reading discussions & chapter synopses.

I guess I have to work harder to stay awake for the remaining 2 weeks. I like to see how Dr. Su will finally work out his feelings over the 2 ladies competing for his heart---you know having made love with Dr. Kwan & eventually marrying XAA.

I really don't get why some people can't get over Dr Kwan cheating on Dr Su. That happened like 10 years ago. I remember Dr Qiu said something about we all hafta learn to deal and to live with our past; no one is perfect. The same thing applies to Dr. Kwan. I'm not a fan of her too when she cheated on him; however, the poor woman suffered a lot too during this whole time. She was miserable. She shut herself from the everyone and rejected all the guys.

If one argues that she doesn't deserve Dr Su because of the cheating part, well, that applies to Shan Cai too. Didn't Shan Cai kiss Hua Ge Lei when she was going out with Dao Ming Si? Yes, kissing another guy and sleeping with another guy are two different things, but they are both "cheating" on an emotional level( dunno if that make sense). If Dr Kwan doesn't deserve Dr Su, then I would say that Shan Cai doesn't deserve Dao Ming Si.

ok, i know i probably piss a lot of fans off by being on Dr Kwan's side, but still, I really don't think Dr Kwan is as bad as u guys think.

Come to think about it, Xu AN An is worse. I always think of her as a spoiled brat but ever since watching that trailer, I hated her even more. The way she made Dr Kwan jealous. Seriously, go find another man. There are tons of men that will suit her in the bar. She knows that dr Su loves Dr Kwan, so why is she trying to steal him away? Imagine if she's just an ordinary girl and that she's trying to steal someone's bf, what would u guys think about her? If she love Dr Su, she should set him free, like Dr Kwan.

KN_lover, maybe we should shake hands together~i like dr. quan for dr. su, she is his life, i don't think it ever came to a point where dr. su has to choose between Cui Feng and Guan Xin, he has mind only on guan xin and if ever, he only treats cui feng as his friend, nothing more~sure she is cheery and can make dr. su smile, but guan xin can make dr. su happier by just her mere presence infront of him~

some people are wondering what would have happened bet guan and su that makes him turn to XAA~
sorry, but i don't think he ever turned to XAA if only he has guan xin~
it's guan xin who left him, doing a sacrifice, thinking her past w/ that older doctor is starting again, and thinking su is better off w/o her~~

i must say, dr. su will NEVER EVER MARRY Cui Feng if only Guan Xin remained single, he loves her so much he would have waited for her and would never take the intiative to marry first before Guan Xin does~

but hell, Guan Xin introduces to him his husband, probably to make dr. Su move on, because she knows he would wait for her forever~~

Cui Feng may indeed be the chosen one, well, that's because there's no one left for him~~instead of being miserable, he chose to start a new life w/ her~but i doubt it's because he loves her~~he might like her, but he of course has only dr. guan in his heart~seeing how passionately in love su is w/ guan, i don't think he can give that much love to cui feng equally~

I don't really hate Guan Xin at first because I thought she is the perfect match for Dr Su. I used to Hate Xu An An too because she's the one who make both of them break off. But as the series move on.. It seems like Guan Xin is making me thinking.. She is not worth for Him! Although Dr Du loves Guan Xin a lot and Guan Xin knew it! She left Him AGAIN.

and one more thing, if it wasn't for cui feng, guan xin and yi hua would have lived happily together, even if dr. su has to battle it out in the hospital, he would not lose his strength (as he would) if only guan xin is beside her.
makes me get pissed off at cui feng's character becoz if she has stayed out of the two, guan xin would not have crazy things running through her mind that would make her leave yi hua~

and there will be no more need of cui feng cheering yi hua becoz obviously guan and yi hua are too much in love already w/ each other~ if only cui feng did not enter the scene, well, obviously she did, and she has that responsibility to make yi hua happy because she was the major reason guan xin left~

that's why i like wen li more than cui feng~~both are cheerful girls, but wen li, knowing yi hua loves guan xin, chose to just admire yi hua from afar~~

and the reason why she introduced her husband, i don't think it is intentional to make yi hua hurt, she is saying the message she is married, he should move on already, because i am so sure yi hua will wait for her~

i believe janine is 23. or probably she's 24 now. i seem to remember that around May 2005 when she was first chosen to lead TH she's 22(i remember thinking she's 2 years older than me) and i think i read somewhere her bday is september so i think she's 24 now. of course, my memory is not as great when it comes to other stuff other than when it comes to infos on our jerry, so i could be wrong.



haha. i dont think shan cai deserved dao ming si. truthfully, the only reason i wanted sc to still end up with dms is because i'm so crazy about him that seeing sad makes me sad; he loves her soooo much. anyway as a personal opinion, i dont think love is about deserving someone; love is working on it, trying to be patient, kind and being always truthful to the feelings in your heart. that's why i dont hold it against dr. guan of her cheating on dr. su. she fell in love with someone else - she's human; she can't be perfect. i do think she could have worked harder though. i can't understand why she'll leave him again - even if she thinks it's for his own good - when she promised him she'll never leave him again. but again, i won't hold her reasons against her, i do really like her character too but as a personal opinion, i believe when you truly love someone you should fight for it. for me, letting go doesn't mean you loved best instead for me it means not wanting to face more problems/trials/pains so you give up. on the other hand, dr. su[in the same way, just like DMS in MG] has held on the feelings in his heart all these years, was ready to forgive and forget, all beacuse his love was that great.

well as for xu an an, i can't really explain why i like her w/dr su but all i know is since guan xin is ending up with someone else, i want dr. su to truly find happiness. for that to happen, i wish him to reciprocate cui feng's feelings only so to ssure me in a way that he'll be happy.

OMG! i just finish episode 32. The ending part is sooo heart breaking. ARGH!! Seeing his face I wanna cry.

Dr. Su's voice is shaking when he keep on talking to Guan Xin and EVEN beg her. PAINNNN. He is really willingly to let go his future and stuff but Guan Xin does'nt want to giv him a chance. a FINAL CHANCE SOB

feeling so down..i want to watch these episode so bad..

i don't understand why jerry is so adamant about guan xin. she cheated on him and then dumped him, why is he still loving her? i don't think she deserves him at all. she did all the wrong things and it should be her that's going after him to seek forgiveness. he deserves someone else that's better and won't hurt him.

After Guan was told by Qiu that Xu has tried very hard to search for a right husband for Cui Feng and he thought that Xu has picked Su. Starting from that point, all Guan could see and think was what she wanted to see and think. It is true that Su doesn't know how to reject others' requests. That's why Su didn't refuse to help organize Cui Feng's bb party. When Xu told the crowd that Su knew the best what Cui Feng liked, it is true that the cunning Xu dropped a "bomb", but Guan can't blame Su for not denying Xu's comments. What can Su say? "I don't like your daughter at all" when Cui Feng has not openly told Su that she decides to go after Su? Su should not take the responsibility for Xu and Cui Feng's intention.

When Cui Feng saw Guan and intentionally stole a kiss on Su's cheek, Su's back was facing Guan, Su was shocked by the kiss, and he didn't see Guan at all.

When Guan took half day off, she met Su in the hallway. When Su told her that he was looking for her after the meeting, Guan only told him that people could only look at one direction and she didn't say about Cui Feng's knowing her appearance before placing the kiss on his cheek. When Su tried to find Guan all night, she didn't take his calls.

When Guan met Su the next morning upon Su's request, Su told her that although he has become the Head of the Department now (Qiu is not the Head anymore due to the money incident), he was getting more and more unhappy but he didn't know why. Then Su asked her to marry him. All Guan responded was "It's too late. It's too late... I won't be your answer...", even when Su said that he was willing to quit his position as Head of the Department and even as the professor at Lian Dai Hospital. She refused to listen to Su. When Su begged her not being like this, she didn't give him another chance that she concluded that Su wouldn't be willing to give up power, like Zhuang. Doesn't she know that Su is not Zhuang or Qiu? When Xu wanted Qiu to resign, didn't Su ask Xu to allow Qiu to keep his positions as professor and attending phyisican?

I guess at this point, Su still doesn't know that Guan is leaving the hospital and not coming back.

Qiu's wife is really smart. In the last episode, after Ma showed her the ultrasound photo, Qiu's wife found out about their affair. Although she decided to leave Qiu, she kept her promise of helping Qiu and she won't leave him until after the incident was over. After Qiu's wife went to Xu's wife and recorded the evidence of Xu's having outside job before, Qiu is allowed to stay as professor and attending physician.

Dr. Chen Ting reminded his son to keep his relationship with Su, but Chen Kuan felt severe stomach pain.

As matters have grown out of scope and away from her initial intention, Ma decided to leave TW and to stay in US. Qiu went to see her off at the airport and gave her a check. She refused to accept it and said that the only thing they owed each other was a "goodbye". When Qiu suggested that may be he would be allowed to meet the kid in the future, Ma rejected the idea. She will tell the kid that his/her father has gone somewhere far away and he won't come back.

On his way home, Qiu called his wife and told her about what happened. He promised that Ma and he would not meet each other again. His wife asked him to drive safely, and his daughter and she would wait for him for dinner. (It appeared that Qiu's wife has forgiven him after he pledged her to give their daughter one more chance.)

After being assumed by Guan for not willing to give up his power/position , Su told Xu that he wanted to resign his position as the Head of the department. Xu asked Su what's going on with them. That morning, Guan resigned and now Su. Xu told Su that he accepted Guan's resignation and Guan is going back to her hometown. Su found out Guan's departure by surprise. He rushed to her office and hoped to find any messages by her, but he couldn't find anything.

Su has become devastated. He kept calling and calling Guan, but everytime, the call was transferred to her voicemail. He even borrowed other people's phones to call her.

When Su met Qiu in the hallway, Qiu thanked Su saying that Su had helped him a lot in the "money" incident. They talked about Qiu's opening more classes in the university. Qiu commented that sometimes he thought that he had taken care every aspects of a matter, things can be changed by God in just a blink. Qiu invited Su to have dinner at home.

(It seems like both Su and Qiu have changed.)

Su got a call from Wen Li. She told Su that Cui Feng called him and informed him to check some "wedding cakes" on his desk. Wen Li has been engaged.

As Su recalled Guan's words before she left, he kind of realized that Cui Feng's appearance might relate to Guan's departure, so Su treated Cui Feng with a straight face and refused her invitations. Cui Feng tried to cheer him up without success. She had waited outside Su's office until he finished work. Still, Su refused her invitation for having dinner/drink/movie/walk. Su even tried to keep an distance with her by not willing to go downstairs/leave with her. When Su drove home, he could not help crying bitterly as he drove home remembering the happy days between Guan and him.

Chen waited at Su's office. He asked Su to have a consultation on some films. Su concluded that it should be invasive tumor. Chen then told Su that the films were his. Su told him that he would order CT Scan and other tests the next day. Chen asked Su not to tell anyone yet, especially his father. Chen suggested to have a drink that night.

Both Su and Chen were drunk. Chen questioned about the meaning of his whole life. Su comforted him saying that it would be ok.

The next morning, Chen Ting blamed Chen Kuan for being lazy and going for a drink, but when he realized that Chen Kuan was with Su, he praised Chen Kuan well done.

because of the blackout here in the phils, i wasnt able to go on-line to watch TH. i just finished ep 32 & 33 and all i can say is jerry is just superb. my favorite thing about jerry's acting is that he makes me feel what he feels. really, its known fact i like HCF more but in the scene in ep32 when GX was rejecting his proposal. . . AHHH. Dr. Su's pain was my pain. and in ep33, while he was driving and remembering happy times w/GX, gosh. . . my heart broke to a million pieces.

I can't believe she left him just like that..

he is from tokyo juliet.. and in it his character is so happy compared to here..

I'm sorry if i have to say this... but this is another "Grey's Anatomy-wannabe" !!! I always wonder why Taiwan can not come up w/ a good original story/script!But ok this may be better than other crappy taiwan series! Though the reason why i watch this is because of Jerr Yan, he doesnt fit for 'MD" role! Believe me, he's too dull & timid to be a doctor...much more for a surgeon! Surgeons dont cry like babies! They have EGOS bigger than their heads!!! Surgeons are overconfident , w/c is understandable from years of training & the nature of their work, otherwise they wont be respected in the O.R.! They have to appear very confident even if they dont...deep inside! I have to praise the veterans for a good performance, though. jerry is handsome no doubt about it, but sometimes i'm afraid if he want s to treat his patients or just wants to model the "scrubsuits" !!! because he looked damn good w/ it but fails to exude teh "confidence of a doctor! For me to be convinced that he is a damn surgeon...i dont think so. He may be more goodlooking than Patrick "Mr. Mcdreamy"Dempsey, but I'd rather watch Patrick Dempsey, because he played the "doctor" role pretty damn well,that even if he's nt that goodlooking, he looks "DREAMY" because of his good portrayal of the role! But I have to give credit to this show because it managed to sometimes doze me off as early as 8:30pm! peace! just my opinion!

I have a question - how can this be a Grey's Anatomy wannabe? Grey's anatomy has only been showing since 2005 right? I'm not saying this is an original script - I think this series is adapted/remake of a Japanese series. But this TW series was in the works prior to 2005 and started filming in mid-2005... so it's definitely not a Grey's Anatomy wannabe IMO. I guess both Grey's & this are a wannabe of the Japanese series. But all in all, neither show has particularly original storyline/scripts - it's just how to individuals bring out the characters.

the hospital was based on a novel that as far as i know, came first than Grey's Anatomy.



funny you would say that, i know surgeons who are quite humble(my classmate and i admire our professor very much, he's very humble and yet he's such a praised ortho surgeon). i'm an intern in a hospital and the way i see it doctors need not appear to be overconfident at all. they will be respected just the same.

as for me, i think jerry's acting is wonderful. in the series, he's a doctor who only wishes to help his patients; he's too pure-hearted but i do believe all doctors are good-hearted in reality. it's just that in my opinion, TH talks more than doctors in general. it tells a story of being human. doctors play God in a way but again, they're still only humans. in this series, Dr Su is trying to help his patients and gives all out and ironically he's either scorned/doubted/etc because of that.

Chen Kuan's real name is Tang Zhi Ping. He also has a big role in SAY YES ENTERPRISE

OHHH! no wonder i feel as i've seen him from another series before; he was winnie's partner in the end, right?

anyways, just finished ep34. i loved the scene between dr. su & dr. chen. so touching, so sad. . .

but gods, i am officially obsessed w/HCF - SYH thing. i have no idea what's being said but their scene together made my heart warm all over. and when the ending theme started to play, gosh i had goosebumps!

ohhh, can't believe we're down to the last 5 episodes of TH. . .

eeemmm..all about humanity..greed..lust..luv..forgiveness..etc...

as Dr Su Yi Hua said..
" When i entered this profession..
I swore I'll give everything to serve humanity
Bearing the goodness and respect towards my profession
keeping the mind only of the sickness of my patients"

But Life is full of deception..
and in the end you'll find out...
that's what important won't be important anymore.."

yes ^^. I just watched episode 34! omg. its friggin sad to see Chen Kuan suffering from his sickness. sigh. its very bad to see Dr. Su's friends leaving him one by one. First is the doctor who likes Wen Li. Then as it goes on one by one... Now Chen Kuan... +__+

I love the scene of Dr Su and Chui Feng. Its really touching. Its like Chui Feng can give energy and strength to Dr Su and unlike Guan Xin left him... love that scene especially Dr Su held Chui Feng's hand to have dinner together...

yeap..this part is really touching..
and how cruel ppl seem to be..at the end the will succumb to the fate..
bcoz look at the unscrupulous Dr Chen Senior..how bad his attention to Dr Su..
he at last succumb to the fact that he will loose his only son..and the ppl
that you try to manipulate is the one that help you...

Gosh...i luv tis part too...Cui Feng with her determination will win
Dr Su heart...

watching eps 34.. so sad. i feel so bad for dr. chen.. he was really a nice guy. A nice guy whose dad wanted more for him. His cancer kinda reminds me of vic's cancer situation in silence. It was so sad to see him make those audio tapes for his son. Kinda like vic making those videos for his mom.

Xu an an is actually quite a cute character in this. It's funny how even though jerry really still loves dr. quan.. he has moved on so quickly. Boys can do that so quickly. move from one target to the next even though they may still love another.

Thanks for the pics of the wedding spoiler.. jerry looks very happy and very cute.
Xu an an looks really pretty in it too...

can't wait to see what happens in the next few..
