Seems that not many are discussing about Fly, Daddy Fly, like not many is watching.

Personally I find this movie goes away from The King and The Clown as well as My Girl. It shows the manly side of JunKi. It's really worth watching.

In the drama, Junki acts as a cool student and a boxer. He train a father who want to sought revenge for his daughter.

The very part which really touch me is where he treat that father as his own father. He feels very down and the father comfort him. The charactor is JunKi being tough outside but insider he is soft.

It's not pretty face anymore but more on the acting skill and expression to represent the cool/hot self.

Hi kryptonite08 - i'm from singapore. Jun Ki is so versatile in his acting. U should watch him in King and Clown - he looks so beautiful there and gentle.

I thought so before that he looks better with long hair but now, I get used of his short hair. I like his hair now, more manly. Hi CuteAznBunni! welcome to this thread, first of all, it's always nice to meet new LJK fans! well, this thread is indeed kinda slow but i noticed that all the korean threads are pretty slow, except for the ones from DBSK and Super Junior.

Well, about what he's doing these days...he's currently filming for his new drama called Time Between Dog and Wolf in Thailand (I don't know if he's back to Korea already), which will be aired at the end of July. He also has two movies coming out this year, one is called Virgin Snow, which is a Japanese/Korean production and was released last month and I'm dying to watch it but i guess i'll hv to wait for the DVD to come out since they don't play asian movies here in Canada. The other movie is called A Magnificent Vacation/Holiday (don't know which one is the right name) which is about to be released next month if i'm not wrong.

But you can check some of his older stuff while we all wait for his new shows to come out since you wanna know more about him. You should definitely watch The King and the Clown, which was the movie that made him a superstar. If you thought he looked feminine in My Girl, you might be shocked to see him there cuz he basically dresses and behaves like a girl, if it wasn't for his voice i would totally believe he was a girl. But he looked so pretty and his acting was amazing, so this is a must see for any LJK fan!

Another movie you should watch is Fly Daddy Fly. He looks totally cool and manly there! My cousins stopped calling him gay after watching that movie hahaha!!!

Lee Jun-ki, star of the movie “The King and the Clown,” has caught the eye of acclaimed Chinese director Chen Kaige.MG SHOW, the agency in charge of promoting the actor in China, announced on Tuesday that Lee had met with Chen at the Shanghai International Film Festival last Saturday, at which Chen was a juror.

Chen proposed that the two make a film together in China, which Lee thought was a great idea. “I’d love to make the movie if the script is good and the character is right,” Lee said.

Chen’s proposal is understood to be more than just lip-service. The Chinese director thinks highly of Korean actors, having worked with Jang Dong-gun in his movie “The Promise” in 2005. The project can also count on Lee’s extraordinary popularity in China.

Lee, who became one of the leading stars of the Korean wave with his performances in “The King and the Clown” and the drama “My Girl,” has become tremendously popular in China, with over 300,000 members signed up with his fan club.

During his recent visit to Shanghai, a mob of fans in a convoy of some 20 vehicles chased the actor along a highway, at times making some dangerous moves. Lee said the chase was like a scene from a movie, but added that he’s grateful for his Chinese fans’ avid support.

And I think army training takes 1-month in the camp before a 2-year enlistment so I don't think they could let him stay more than this allowed time when it's his time already.

I read that article earlier ^ . He's such a nice guy. And he seems so much nicer than any other actor. He's so nice and kind to get his fans food.
