Oh gosh, is the news about Junki's dad passed away correct? What I read is that Mr Seo's dad passed away (Junki's manager) not Junki's and Mr Seo left Indonesia on 16 Feb whereas Junki left on 17 Feb. If it's Junki's dad won't he leave straightaway when he heard about the news? He wouldn't have the mood to post in his blog, pics of his trip in Indonesia, if so.

Junki mentioned that he is a bit worried cos he has many things he planned to do before he goes for military service in his interview so it sounds like most likely he's going this year, or he might changed his mind last minute and postpone it to next year, but its up to him. When come September we will know for sure.

PisangQueen, you haven't heard about Andre Kim, a well known korean designer? Junki was in one of his fashion show in China in 2006 and Junki received an award as a result of it. It was in the news that Junki will appear in Andre Kim's fashion show in Thailand this coming March with Lee Da Hae although not sure if Lee Da Hae has confirmed her appearance. Most likely Junki will be since he told his Thailand fans early January that he will see them soon.

For sure Junki's fans in China have grown in leaps and bounds because a poll in China was conducted towards the end of December 2008 of who are the most popular stars and Junki was voted first place as the most popular foreign star and he was voted second place amongst the Chinese stars.

well, I guess for a start I should tell the story how I fell in love with Lee Jun Ki, right? ;]
first time I have heard of him was around two and a half years ago [2006 autumn], when I was into Korean popping dancer Poppin Hyun Joon. in his wikipedia's site I found a sentence written "Poppin Hyun Joon is a good friend with famous Korean actor Lee Jun Ki" or sth like that. not long after that I saw a video from Lee Jun Ki's fan meeting, in which these two danced together. then I thought "wow, that Lee Jun Ki is really handsome... and he dances well too ". and in 2008 August or September in one torrent website I spotted Iljimae. I saw the Lee Jun Ki is in it and I tried to watch this dorama, to check out why Jun Ki is so famous and loved =] I watched it a bit and then dropped it in the middle of ep 6 because it was boring. and couple weeks ago I tried to finish watch it, only because of LJK's gorgeousness ;D and guess what - now I like this dorama =] I don't know, maybe at that time I was not in the right mood to watch it or whatsoever ;D anyways, I'm totally in love with LJK now... ♥♥♥ for the last two days, I have been listening almost nothing else except Lee Jun Ki's songs and Iljimae OST ;D

um... now about that album. I read in soompi forum that the album was only a rumor. Lee Jun Ki is really preparing some songs, but that is for his 2nd fan meeting [I'm not sure but I think it will be this spring or summer...] so what's the truth? ^^

D O L C E, I have been following Junki's news about his next upcoming work as an actor and as far as I have known from the news and interviews, Unseen War is a drama not a movie unless the drama that he has accepted is not called Unseen War but that's what was mentioned in the news. I think the drama in China you meant is a collaboration Junki wanted to work with Wei Tang? He also mentioned that but he regretted that this collaboration didn't go through cos of his schedule of activities so he has to give it a miss. This info is from his interview in Jan this year.

In his most recent interview with Sohu (whenever I see Sohu means China so I believed Junki was in China recently before the Paeksang Arts Award), Junki has confirmed that he has accepted a Drama not long ago (which I believe is Unseen War?) and the reason why its delayed he said is bcos of the editing of script and that's why the shooting schedule is not out yet. Once everything is ready and confirmed, he will be having a busy time shooting then. He also mentioned that he does not have a movie in mind at that time (Feb 2009) but there is still a possibility of accepting one if it interest him. Anyway, I'm just happy he will be working on a drama and look forward to it this year.

The Sohu interview is actually Sohu Korea so its a branch of Sohu and therefore they translate the literal chinese title of the drama into literal korean so the title is not as clear as it should be.
but why should I complain? as long as he has another project and we as fans get to see him back in the acting world i should be content.

I like those shoes ;D I really do. I mean, for ordinary wearing they are ridiculous or somewhat, but for the show or some kind of performance it looks original and cool ;]

well, the onyl thing I have watched him in, is Iljimae =] I am currently watching, finished 15 episodes. I have said this in my first post in this thread but oh well, I'll repeat - when I started watching Iljimae, I found it really boring and dropeed it in the middle of ep 6. and not long time ago, I tried to watch it from that 6th ep and I found it ok, now I like it =] matter of taste, I guess ;]

I'm with you on the long hair look, DOLCE. I know lots of fans liked it, and Jun Ki likes it himself, but I personally prefer him with shorter hair. Long hair sometimes look too girly! Of course, it still looks manly on others... My personal favorite is his hairstyle in "Time Between Dog and Wolf". It's a rather conventional haircut, but somehow it's absolutely hot on Jun Ki!!

I'm now putting a huge effort in not looking up info on Jun Ki's Episode2 fan tour - because I have to resist the temptation of going X( !!

Gawd he looked like a prince in that fashion show! I love his look and his aura is just fascinating! Thank you all for sharing all those wonderful photos and info on Junki-sshi!

You shouldn't focus on the love thingy much then! I think Iljimae was a pretty interesting drama. And I liked it. I'm not actually into period dramas and such but Iljimae was one of a kind. I thought there wasn't any dull moment in that series. And there were so many thrilling scenes in it... although I got kinda disappointed with the kissing scenes. I usually don't expect much romance in Jun Ki's series/movies - those heroic characters he portrays tend to put "justice" before "love". Not much of a pursuer of love, but that's also what I like about his characters. I'm not much of a fluffy-love-story kind of person you see... Jun Ki's dramas have a certain amount of love element, which spices up the story very well - but it just doesn't take up all of his (the character's) life.
Of course, I really wanted him to get the girl in "My Girl", though^^;
