well it's really hard to miss him in the showbiz industry because apart from acting, he's got looks and a voice, right?

one of my korean speaking friends ever did a rough translation of that part for me. It was supposed to be “the SCOUNDREL has stolen a heart”. whereby upon hearing this, Gonggil wept to Jang saeng:"YOU SCOUNDREL!" Meaning that Jang Saeng was the one who had stolen his heart instead of the king.

Either way both interpretations were great and there;s still something fishy about the english subs. maybe they were trying to conceal the gay content implied in the korean dialogue. Alot of the parts were watered down in the english version. ( I heard Jang Saeng frequently refers to Gong Gil jokingly as his wife in the movie)

As for their relationship, i don't think its neccessary to pry and ponder too much into it. Just watch one of the DVD extras. I think the guys would have been great with home decor..

Hi I would like to differ from the above opinion...I think the relationship between Jang Saeng and Gong Gil is very subjective on how u look at it. When I first heard abt K & C, I thought it was something to do with homosexual relationship too. After watching it I find it was such a beautiful frienship between men. In the world that we live in now it's hard to find these kind of frienship. If you are a guy and close to another guy, then you are likely to be gay! This is how people look at it these days. What happen to the old fashioned frienship and loyalty?

In K&C from my understanding, Jang Saeng has known Gong Gil for along time. In fact it looks as though he has taken care of GG since he was young. He has been like a brother and a father to GG. I think that's why he felt responsible and protective towards GG. I'm sure they don't have any sexual relationship.

I also think that GG is still a virgin, that's why JS fought so hard not to let the captain pimped him. It was like a father fought for the virtue of a daughter. He felt responsible for GG. And when GG was with the man he did cry desperately "Pls help me". If he has gone tru it I'm sure he won't be so scared. And although the King was mesmerized by GG's beauty, I think their relationship didn't go beyond the kiss. Remember JS asked if the king did somethingsexual to him and he answered, nothing of that kind, that the were only playing puppet. I think the king was lonely and he felt comfortable talking and listening to GG.

Well, it is still a matter of opinion. But while watching it this is how I understand and ....boy!!!!LJK sure does look pretty especially when he was playing the puppet to the king...and oh...his SMILE...my heart almost jumps out of my chest...and my jaw almost drop to my knee really not fair... how come a man can be so beautiful

the reason i didn’t like those subtitles is because when reading them i couldn’t ‘feel’ the sadness or emotions , whereas listening to the dubbed mandarin, sometimes i could cry. now i wish i know the korean language……i am seriously thinking of attending some korean classes…

Thanks for the detailed explanation on Lee Soo Young's MVs! I thought the tear trickling down Jun Ki's face when he piggybacked the girl was from Jun Ki though and not the girl... But anyway, so Jun Ki ended up with the other girl who donated her eye to him? I did notice a girl walking beside him at the very end of the MV. So it was the other girl and not the main one... How sad! I wanted him to end up with the girl he truly loved. These MVs can really be made into a movie with Jun Ki as the main actor of course! But the eye thingy will not make sense... LOL! And I would like him to end up with the main girl in the movie!

After a press conference for his latest movie “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner? An Effeminate Korean Guy, That’s Who!” Lee Jun Ki made some informal remarks that have sent shockwaves through the Philippines.

“The Philippines are sh*t,” Lee remarked.
