I don't think so, Ada's smile reminds me of someone from a Mad Max magazine.

I think Sonija looks pretty when her hair is long and flowing, but she looked alright in this series. That her character was the b*t*h as opposed to Ada's angel obviously factors into ppl's mind. But when you can dislike a character that much, obviously the actor has done a good job.

she was alright, i don't think she's ugly at all... she's somewhat pretty =) and in WTLB, the only thing i didn't like was some of her hairstyles, they didn't really suit her.

yes, that's exactly what i thought when i was watching it, lol. in my opinion, if you put Sonija and Ada together on the same screen, Ada will definitely outshine Sonija. she isn't ugly, she just gets down sized when she's put o nthe screen like that.

she's not ugly, she's actually kind of pretty, but then next to ada, she doesn't look so good. maybe ppl call her ugly because her character was evil, but its just acting, and not real life.

She looked normal in there. It's how she usually looks in ancient costumes. Which isn't the prettiest, but it's as pretty as it gets. I think Sonija looks best in Hidden Treasures. And I saw her ancient costume in 'Tossing Rain', she looks a lot younger and more 'pure'.

She looks alright to me in Where The Legend Begins. But her personality in that show is definately ugly & evil She played her character so well that I just HatE her in the show & makes me wanna her

no offense to all u sonjia kwok fans but sonjia is ugly in my opinion... i mean she was ok, but she usually juss do the evil and bad person in movie... for example where the legend begins and perish in the name of love... i hated her ever since i saw that movie... wonder if she is reali like that in life. lol

personally, I think she looks really pretty. I mean, she's probably the most successful Miss HK ever...she even got into Miss World; so she really can't be called ugly even if people don't think she's reallyyy pretty.
