our cable provider is global destiny.. they have KBS world.. chn 60.. btw, ive read in soompi that mawang will be aired after 3 to 4 weeks since they still have to put english sub but I really hope and pray that it will be shown soon because I miss Ji Hoon soooo much!...

anyways, 3-4 weeks? so i'd say the free fan-subbers are faster because they are releasing subs 1-2 weeks after the airing of the episodes!

Korean actor Ju Ji-hoon (주지훈) has been selected a New Asian Star of 2007 at the 1st Astar TV Drama Awards that will be held March 30 at the COEX in Seoul. New Asian Stars have been chosen from six Asian countries such as South Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Thailand.

Astar TV said the six were chosen for their high recognition in their respective countries, their celebrity status and potential to emerge as top Asian stars.

Ju gained popularity throughout the entire Asian region for his role in the TV show "Princess Hours" and received acclaim for his role in the new TV drama "Devil."

Singer/actor Kamenashi Kazuya was chosen among Japanese stars, while Fan Bing Bing (范冰冰) represented China. Actor Wilson Chan (陈柏霖) was chosen among Taiwanese stars, actor Daniel Wu (吴彦祖) among Hong Kong stars and model/actress Patcharapa Chaichua among Thai stars.

Mawang have not finished filming yet.. it is currently being shown in Korean 9:55pm (korean time) in KBS2... it will also start airing on KBS world on April 19, 9:00pm (GMT+8)



his new drama is called Mawang or the devil.. he's role is a lawyer / serial killer although so far, evidence of him killing anybody is yet to surface...

Btw i saw the Korean Wave news that he attended a fashion show as a special guest (even the other celebrity who attended didn't know he would lead the catwalk) and he looked HOT there but still i got to say he is too skinny

Does anyone know the rating of Mawang in Korea? Is it doing well? Praying that it is good as it's a new challenge for him. Read in a magazine that the second male lead's acting was better than oppa's. Hopefully, many people will like him in his new role.

Joo Ji Hoon is definitely one of the hottest guys out there.
I like his mysteriousness. After watching Goong (which got me into the korean scene), I started to watch The Devil. And oh yeah you can tell he looks good with his new look (after his diet ). Even his acting skills got better I guess hehe.

He is for sure, one of my favourites.

Of course he's cute as can be with his new look !! But I really prefer him in Goong !! (Not for the look, but just the way of acting...)
Me too I began the korean series with Goong ! And then I tried My Girl and The Vineyard Man, but it's not as good as Goong !
Anyway...Mawang is not bad ! Hope that they'll translate the 4 last episodes !

actually, he got the role he auditioned for in spring waltz, but Princess hours decided to extend its episodes from 20 to 24, so he decided to drop spring waltz and continue with Princess Hours.. oh well, glad he's working on a new drama [The Devil]..Let's continue to support him okie lah? ciao
