From Canada to Hong Kong, Raymond Lam has been spreading germs to all of us!

This guy only has the looks, he looks like he's 18 from the outside, but has a body that is 80 years old. Last time when we were in Vancouver, we were either filming or surrounded by fans, even if he's strong like steel, he'll still breakdown. That time, the massagist, Anna, warned him to rest more already, and as a result, he did come back sick. The virus had attacked his throat, causing him to cough and have a sore throat. It made us all try to avoid having scenes with him or we'll have to record the lines again later. However, even if we were smart to avoid him, we still caught the cold. First, it was Damien (father), then it's Charmaine (girlfriend), Jessica (sister), Sheren (aunt), and finally I (mother) caught the cold too!

Isn't Raymond bad! But I pity this kid too! After bringing the cold to our whole family, it went back to him again, because he is not completely well yet!

This is also the reason why I haven't been updating!

Even though I lost my voice, but after taking medicine, I'm getting better!

Because we have to continue filming, so everyone worked with their sickness. Actually that's not a really bad thing, because besides working, all we would do is rest, and rest. If we don't rest and drink more water, we would be spreading the virus like Raymond!

Luckily, "The Legendary Era" is 3/4 done, and it should be finished in mid-April!

There are some filming news about Charray and Sehshe has the pictures posted on her blog. I was told that the scene is about a prank that Ray played on Charm. Charm was yelling from a ferry while Ray was talking on his cellphone mischievously. The scene was quite early on, so it is probably when Charray was at the bickering stage.

Another filming news was about a funeral scene where Sheren's dad died. But from the pictures I have seen, Charm is not there. Correct me if I am wrong lah.

I also heard that DOL was bumped from CCTV channel 1 (the main station) to channel 8. Although it doesn't affect the airing date of July 1, I am still disappointed because many more people in mainland China will get to see our lovely Charray if the series is aired on channel 1. I sure hope this is not the final decision yet.

BB, I totally agree with you about Linda and Shirley. And agree 100% that Ray's singing is better than Ron and Kevin. Range hasn't updated her P&A and you haven't updated your yet. And I almost died of malnutrition and totally boredom. Pls. update at at least 3 chapters soon....otherwise it is not enough to save me lah..........

That is soo bad that they have change the channel. I mean they had promise that the arring will be on channel 1 and now they are changing it.. Not good they can't keep the promise. One of the reson y charm take this serie instead of other three series was b/c it would work with CCTV and it should have been on channel 1 hope that they can change it later.
Oh I didn't know that charm have been sick, we can't blame ray for be sick I mean he have so much to do and no time to rest. hope he will be fine soon.

hello! I can't wait for DOL to finish filming. I'm crazy abput watching it. Because there's no news of them filming lately I'm rewatching LWOLAP.

There are so many rumours and negative news about Charmaine lately. Really don't bother to care. But it gets very annoying. It upsets me to see those so called reporters make up stories to hurt Charmaine. Can they just leave her alone? They have even used a scene from her new movie and made up a so called real life story. Let's not help the reporters to spread the news to hurt Charmaine.

No offence, but I would like to remind us that since this is a Charray thread, let's put more focus on CHARRAY, not Charmaine and Ray. I am a Charmaine fan too, and I do understand that sometimes we can get carried away. I think it is perfectly okay to talk about them as individuals once a while, but I sure hope all of us won't loose our focus and put more emphasis on the two of them together.

I am not referring to any one of us in particular, just a friendly reminder to myself and all of us to keep our focus on Charray and their wonderful chemistry rather than the stupid rumours.

The filming of DOL is about 75% done already, according to Gigi Wong. When are they going to China again to film? I hope there will be more Charray news and pictures again soon. REally can't wait till July 1. I figured that they probably start releasing those preivew, promos 3-4 weeks prior, so that means we will be flooded with DOL and Charrayness in about 4 months time.....right? At least it helps to think that way and the wait seems to be more bearable.

sorry for digressing...just checked out TVBsquare and some other fan sites today too...i realized overseas netizens really enjoyed LWOLAP , W&D, F2F etc. These are either warehoused, or have low ratings in hk. Its really weird but at least there are like-minded people who like LWOLAP, and appreciate Charray's chemistry. Charray in LWOLAP are leading the tvbsquare polls for fav main characters, and Raymond in F2F is leading the fav male too. I really liked his characters FungHangLit and Lai Yeuk Yee. Siu Chai in La Femme was too effeminate for me.
I'm such a sucker for ancient series.

I watched Dicey Business too. Gotta find something to do when we are so deprived of Charray news and series. I quite like DB especially how Bobby and Michael are challenging each other on the gambling table and the gambler Jessica is so different from her usual roles.

Really really miss Charray....sure thinks LWOLAP is a wonderful series. Never could understand why HK people don't like it. I don't really like Siu Chia's character either. I prefer Ngor Siu than Siu Chia. FTF is okay lah, but Ray looks fat in it heehee.

LWOLAP was a great serie and the chemistry between charray was wonderful I know y the ppl in HK don't think the serie was great b/c the skript have change so much from the manga version that's y ppl in HK didn't like the story.
Anyway it's great that many ppl overseas like it b/c TVB focus on the oversea audience very much soo if they like this couple they will made more serie with them together so don't worry our support for charray will have a great effect.

I've been successfully busy for the past few days what with school work, church, FORCED marching and dance. Yes. Serious. DANCE. I just came back from dance practise which is almost right after today's marching and my legs are weak. I have to dance for my church's youth cheerleading =P. Mighty busy!

I read all of your posts but I can't really remember a lot, I only feel like it's about time I tell you guys that me and my computer are still alive! Just that on weekdays I will probably be on much less. Form 4 is such a hectic year...

Regarding my fanfic, all I have to say is sorry sorry. I keep breaking my promises. I'll just try to update soon. I really have too much to do, or maybe after the first few days of Chinese New Year, I would have time to chill and spam the net with Charray stuff, update my blogS (finally!) and do something that I've always been planning to do but been procrastinating. I'm an awesome procrastinator and I've promised goodies for you guys since forever but never gets them done. Maybe this year my time management skills will mature into a more punctual and responsible habit.

Thanks Helen for the link! I am loading them now and maybe comment next time, as I will have to try and get some dance practise down before I sleep, so I won't forget by next morning.

NEwayz, I think the CharRon ( ) rumors are quite funnnie.... I still remember my old captions with Ron secretly admiring Charm... Would it be better if CharRay are rumored? I think so...
However absurb this new CharRon rumor is, I somehow don't hate it... Think of it guys, Ron and Charm were never really friends before. Alice, I have seen the mag scan on shehsheh.com too. However, the person who post the scan has deleted the words in the bubble. I figured the reporter has made up some not so nice script for Charray, so the author has deleted them on purpose. If some kind soul can find the original magazine then I will be more than happy to translate them. But again, those are just made up conversations by those "creative" reporters, so I'd rather see what you, Pearl, Range and all of our creative talents here to guess what Charray have said to each other instead.

And yes, I totally agree that it is probably Ray who has asked Ron to do him a favour and give his "special friend" aka Charmie a lift.

Well, i just read "U" and they have exactly the same set of pics. But totally unflattering comments. Seems that Ah Seh always ignores Raymond and doesn't talk to him at all. Not only that, seems that the crew doesn't like her as well. Saying that she always "black mouth black face". However, while filming with Hacken Lee, she apparently flirted with him and even flashed him her underwear. The crew were quite disgusted especially since he just got married. Seems that Ah Seh has been throwing herself at guys since her rumoured break up with Haoming. She even stole the boyfriend of a third rate actress in TVB.

hi everyone, I have one semi-good news and one bad news.
The semi- good news is:
According to recent news articles, Ray admitted that he has driven Charm home after work. (This means at least they are on good terms)
Some reporters have asked him about his rumours with Charm. He is not scared because this is their third collaboration and they have started filming for over 3 months now. If something has happened, it should have happened already. He also doesn't believe in Ron and Charm's rumors. The photos are so blurry and it doesn't mean a thing. He thinks this is normal for colleagues to give a lift to each other.

However, here comes the bad news: Some reporters asked why there's no rumour between him and Charm, and whether it is because Charm is not his cup of tea. Ray says yeah, probably that's why!

OMG! Charm is not Ray's type of girl?????? Someone please read between the lines and give me some hope please?

Charmaine Sheh can be named the "Queen of Rumors", recently she's filming a new series with Raymond Lam, and the both of them declared that they are not afraid of rumors. Raymond laughed that Charmaine is not his cup of tea, and doesn't believe his best friend, Ron's rumors with Charmaine.



Charmaine Sheh, Raymond Lam, Myolie Wu and Damien Lau was at Tseung Kwan O filming for the long series "The Legendary Era", the scene was about Charmaine, Raymond and the others investing money into buying houses to earn more money.

Charmaine always has been having rumors, is she worried having rumors with Raymond Lam? She replies, "Raymond said a reporter called him and asked him about our rumors before, this is already our third time working together. I wouldn't care about rumors anymore, there's nothing I can do about them."

Valentine's Day is coming up, Charmaine says that nobody asked to celebrate with her yet, "I haven't celebrated Valentine's Day for a long time. (What kind of presents do you want?) There isn't any." And responding to Damien Lau giving flowers to Myolie Wu as a Valentine's gift, Charmaine says, "tell Damien to give me flowers too!"

When Myolie was being asked about Valentine's Day, Myolie responded, "I don't know yet! If there's a surprise, I'll be happier. The best is flowers,though flowers are not that special. However, it's great to receive surprises." Damien Lau who passed by joked, "It's flowers only! There's a lot out there. Who wants them, write me a list."

Raymond Lam was asked about rumors with Charmaine Sheh, he said, "I'm not afraid of rumors, it's our third time working together. (Have to take care of "Good Friend" for Ron Ng?) No, Charmaine and I worked together for 3 months now and nothing happened. (Is it because Charmaine is not your type?) Yeah, maybe." Hello everyone, I got more DOL filming news! Recently Ray and Myolie were filming a scene in which Ray got drunk and very depressed after he got dumped by Charmie. Myolie drove him home and tried to encourage him to pick himself up again. But Ray got mad and kicked her out of the car while in the middle of a highway! And Myolie also said that SHE IS HURT BY RAY MANY TIMES, BUT FORTUNATELY SHE FOUND HER TRUE LOVE, THE MAINLAND ACTOR.

SO this means, Ray and Myolie will NOT be together in the end!!!!! So the chance of Charray together will be higher lah! Hurray!!!! * dancing madly while shouting YES!


ANOTHER good news is another clipping about DOL filming news. The headline says RAY is using Myolie as "love's substitute". The scene showed Ray and Myolie at a wedding shop looking at pictures and choosing gowns. However, it also mentioned that Ray is just using Myolie as substitute since Charm has left him. But they didn't get married and the reason is probably Charm has come back.

The host was asking Raymond about members of his family in the series, father-

While Myolie is a fadan, she is not exactly the "top" one. So when Ray hear "top fadan," he thought of Charm and laughed in happiness, showing he's proud that Charm is now the top fadan...
Also, a key thing to notice is that Ray actually have worked with Myolie more than 3 times (GF, EH, SL, TC, SYFW), but he has work with Charm exactly 2 to 3 times... The 2 includes Yummy Yummy and LWOLAP and 3 if you include SYFW... So exactly 2 to 3 times!! This shows that he was only thinking mainly of Charm when he mention "I am very close with them [meaning Charm] in real life"!




Again, Ray wanted to talk about Charm first! He paused long because he have troubles finding the right words to describe his Goddess in a way as to not implicate their loving relationship to the public... Ray probably thinks of Charm a lot! He decided to compliment her on her professionalism... But then he can't help adding the quality of Charm that he adores, her being "boyish"




The host viewed his use of "boyish" the wrong way; the host thought he meant "tomboyish." Ray doesn't want others to think of his beautiful Charmie as like a boy, so he corrected it by explaining that he meant she has a "very candid and very straightforward" personality.... So sweet of him to set the record straight...




And there you have it! Ray admitting that he "like" Charm's "character." He didn't say that he like her, but this is as close as you can get without starting rumors.
Also, Ray must have encountered dealing with Charm's straightforward a lot of times to know her so wel, meaning they spend a lot of time together


On to the part where Ray talk about Myolie, I don't get the impression that he like her that way... I get that they are just friends, and that's it.



He said they joined around the same period, but actually, Ray joined TVB way way before Myolie, who only signed with TVB after winning 2nd runner up in Ms. HK 1999 (or around that time)... So apparently he doesn't really pay attention to his relationship with Myolie nor neither does he care...



Yes, he said "quite happy." What do you expect he would say? "I had a terrible time filming with Myolie! I wanted to film with my Charmie!"? lolzzz Also, he didn't say that being with Myolie make him happy, juz that he had a happy time filming in China




When speaking about Myolie, he only mentioned her professionalism with work... That's it! No mentioning of her personality or what he like about her... So this mean they're not very close at all if he doesn't know her personality... Not like with Charm




Ray meant in the first part: "yes, it's very nice to work with Charm who is extremely close to me in real life!"
For the second part, with the host putting words in his mouth, he has to say what he said... But on the inside, he's really thinking in a sarcastic way: "yeah... right.... NOT! Charmie is like a luver to me! HAHAHA!"

Charm always say she loves kids! I remember an article where she said she want 11 kids to start a sport team! She was juz joking of course but wouldn't it be kute seeing little CharRay younguns running around a field with Papa Fung and Mama Sheh watching them lovingly hands in hands?
Charm really does take great care of her family! She took time out to take care of her mother! How sweet!
I remember reading an interview with Charm and she describe her perfect man similarly too (except the longhair and ponytail part ) Her future husband must love kids and be filial!
They are the perfect couple together!!!

< 5 Months Till CharRay Appear in SYFW!!

Hey Pearl, I will try upload the interview this weekend then you guys can hear Ray's tone when talking about Ah sheh.
I am very happy that he always talk about Ah Sheh first. this means she is the person who comes to his mind.
And he doesn't want to say he has collaborate with Myolie more than Ah Sheh, how sweet of him....he always get his tallys wrong - remember he said his wedding scene with ah Sheh in SYFW is his first wedding scene? Actually he has filmed quite a few wedding scenes before in ancient costume. I suppose he should specifiy that it is his first modern wedding scene.

When he talked about Ah sheh, he seems to be looking for the right words. I suppose he is very cautious - why so cautious? Because all he can think of are words of praises, but he cannot use the strong words, otherwise he will reveal too much of his "admiration" for Ah Sheh and the doggies will create big big trouble for them loh. You will know that when he talks about Myolie, words just come out, but his tone is rather "flat", a little emotionless.

anyways, in a rush, gotta go now. talk next time lah!

i think this is the first time i actually made a post here... been here a few times and read the post.. i think u guys are awesome such supporters of CharRay.. reading the captions u guys come up with is really great!! keep up to good work..

since the drive of life will be on in about 5 months think i might be more involved in the CharRay talk... lets just hope they end up together!!
