To Charray fans:
Since the voting poll at Jayne Stars started, I think a lot of FungYi fans come here to ''spy'' us, because we got so many votes. So actually this poll caused many troubles like this ''FungYi fans-coming-to-Charray thread'' thingey or the Charray VS FungYi thing. Please don't take the poll too seriously.. Okay, I think I'm getting crazy but shall we forget this poll?? I mean the poll doesn't show who's Raymond's best co-actress, but how long both fans can click/vote.. I mean atleast we can show we are mature.

I planned to just silently vote and just post encouragements and weird exclamations here or there. But no human can stand the insults at FungYi's thread. I have to speak, if not I might choke with that lump in my throat.

Let's keep this as down as possible. I will make it a rule to myself to mention nothing insulting of FungYi/Tavia (Of all persons it has to be Tavia, darn, I love her). I think it is ok to like more than one artiste or one pairing. Like myself, I love Charray and charlian. I like Tavia too, but in comparison, I like Charmaine much more than Tavia. Therefore, if I have to choose between Charray and Fungyi, I will definitely vote for Charray! SO, as long as you like Charray, you are welcomed here.

I haven't checked the Fungyi thread, and not sure what they have said or when it has all started. And I don't plan to check it out. It is all pointless attacking each other. We just want to show and share our appreciation and affection for our favourite artistes, and I don't see why this will or has offended others. Everyone please mind your own business. It is perfectly fine to like Fungyi, but please respect each other and keep it at your own thread. What we do here is nothing to be non charray fans' concern.

As for the voting, I think it has gone crazy. Relax people. I hope Jayzstar can change the voting system to one vote per person, then there will be less fight and the results will be more meaningful.

i am not sure if fungyi fans would be really happy if i've said this. in the past, i've kept a lot of things to myself, but now, i know that i have to let it out. fungyi fans are very very nice, but in some ways, they are very very competitive. they.... let's just say that some of them want to maintain #1 in every single thing related to fungyi. i am a very competitive person, but i do like to get along. that's why i hardly want to say some things, or let me just say that i am a person that keeps a lot of words to myself.

i love both tavia and charmaine dearly, and i think they are better in different parts in acting. i like practically every single actor/actress and that's what makes me happy all the time while i am here on AF. i can participate in different threads and from my heart, i know clearly that i am a fan. and now, i know to even learn to like shirley, linda, and all the newbies. i give them time to become a good actress. to tell u all the truth, i am only 13. i am not very smart, clever, nor do i have an important voice here on AF, nor on any thread. i just want u to know that:

1: i got to the fungyi fan's thread because i do enjoy reading their posts. i can definitely tell that they are nice people, but in some ways, they care about a lot of things that really isn't that big of deal. i read some things about some threads, but when i go there, i don't see what they did that is so offensive towards RT. i myself, is not a fungyi fan, so u might say that i am biased. but i am a fan of tavia and raymond, so i don't know why i would be dissing them. i am a RM fan, but when i saw how much charray and fungyi fans fought in order to win that poll, i also wanted to click like a billion times. then i stopped after the tenth click. not because i was tired, but i was wondering what this reflects about me. it just shows that i want to be #1, and is some-what stubborn. those votes are supposed say how much ACTUAL people like those pairings, not how many times one person votes on them and assume that they are the best. i don't think (from the mature side of my mind) that RM is the best, nor do i hope that someone will say that they are best. NOTHING is the best, there is ALWAYS something that is better.

2: i finally understand fully how wars begin. we are like on a war right now, but what's the point in fighting w/ fungyi fans? they are nice people, and if they want to say something about charray in THEIR thread, i have no problem w/ that. but if they or us will blame someone for doing something that they DIDN'T do, how am i suppose to figure this out when i am a fan of charmaine, tavia, AND raymond? i seriously don't know what the point of clicking hundreds of times is! now, i feel really bad because i am actually lying about RM! i want people to know that michelle and raymond are a good couple, not lie about how good of a couple they are! The matter of voting:

I agree with TR ROCKS about all the moral issues and all the competitiveness thingy and all. And you certainly don't need to apologize as you did everyone justice. I am glad that we have you as a member of this thread, and you will always be welcomed here.

However, I seriously doubt that either side can stop voting. Though I also agree that FungYi fans are nice, but they are mostly competitive and reserved. Here, we all don't mind if other people post about different couples or generally support other Raymond couples. That, for me, is just a way to know each other. But over there, its like either you like FungYi to death or you can get out. I assure you I don't have any ill intentions or any thoughts like "Must...beat...Tavia...preciioouussss" running through my mind.

FungYi fans deem the couple as having limited time/screentime together. So is Charray! And I can bet with my life that peeps like Helen and me vote just for the heck of doing something Charray related. I voted for Tavia a few times as well. I also admit that when I read all the offensive stuff towards me in FungYi's thread, I got a bit worked up. But that is in the past and that phase is over.

Its FINE to vote as much as you want. It's FINE to be competitive. It is afterall the nature of passion. But it certainly is not FINE to be dissing the other side. Apparently, we do very little dissing here. But as for over there, you all know what I want to say.

So if I have done anything wrong, I appreciate corrections and polite advice. Insulting me does not help. But most of the time, I am misunderstood. As for the FungYi case, I was misunderstood badly from the start. I tried to untie this deadly knot but all I got is a faceful of spit.

I am also going back to happy things now. Let all voice PEACEFULLY what is to be voiced. And we end this, unfortunately, misunderstanding once and for all.

Aww; I really hope that you will continue writing ur fanfic. But its okie since I understand that you might not feel comfortable writing it anymore. About the poem, it's not exactly a summary of the plot. It's just one of the poems I plan to use in the FF. But let me give you a tip. Ithildur's heir, is of course our Raymond. As for:

No need to guess I think! Yeap, bear, it's LOTR-ish. Raymond's character is sorta like Aragorn son of Arathorn. Charmaine's character is an inspiration from the two books, Eragon and Eldest. All these are my favourite books! But I have lots, you can check out my profile in my blog if you really have nothing else to do.

As for the instructions, you guys can just go to www.fileleecher.com and copy paste the youtube links to the Youtube space. Then download. When you finished, put the .flv extension behind the file and get the FLV player thingy recommended in that page of instructions. Once you download it, there will be two softwares. One is the FLV player and the other is a converter. You can just not care about converting if you're fine with viewing it with the FLV player, but here's the instructions to convert.

For the input video, browse for the .flv file you want to convert. Then, for the output, select the place where you want your converted file to be saved. Insert a name in the Destination Video File and remember to add an extension. I think the only extensions you can use is .mpg and .avi. If you don't plan on burning I recommend .avi. Less space used. Once you're done, at the encode section, click on the +flv encode button. When it is done, the result space will show that your encoding is successful. That easy .

About the fantasy FF, I am not so sure whether I am going to use their own name because it will be rather weird. I tried writing something but not wholly satisfied yet. We'll see. But for the modern one, I will definitely use their real names. I always prefer to use their real names because it is much easier to imagine the real actors themselves doing what I am describing in the fanfic. Of course, it is much sweeter!

I agree with bao. TVB has very limited actors and actresses. Charmaine and Raymond are both famous artists and sooner or later they would have to work together. But let's pray pray pray hard that they will sooner or later pair up again. Don't TVB see the chemistry they share? Don't they sense the chemistry flying in sparks between them?!?!

Anyways, here is the storyline for the modern version. It seems more romantic and easier to write. But I'll figure it out soon. Very confused right now. The TR fanfic, I am not sure whether I should still continue.

on the topic of future charray cooperations, i may be greedy, but i would love a wedding advertisement, a la Monalisa & Charlian... well, because those pictures of JC were absolutely, breath-takingly gorgeous... and i was just thinking, can you imagine Charray pictures in traditionall wedding outfits...? i reckon it would be very cute.... but yeah, i would just be thrilled to have more charray collaborations.... *crosses fingers*

to tell you guys the truth, i'm not that fond of the Mona Lisa ads, they looked budgeted and not that professional (if you understand cantonese: 'cao cay') to me. i'm actually very impressed with Takolie (Myolie and Tak... ok i don't know his full name).. lots of variety and beautiful shots but most likely not possible since they had contracts with different wedding companies, probably won't expire anytime soon.

maybe Charmaine's furniture sponser will take up on Raymond and they can be pretend husband-wife in new advertisements. lol

For the wedding shots, gosh, I would definitely swoon if Raymond and Charmaine took some together! Impossible is nothing, quoting this shoe brand thingy. So we can just cross our fingers, pray hard and wait!

What I am waiting for is AFontane taking up Raymond. Imagine, beautiful pictures with them together on the bed. AFontane's pictures and ads tend to be full of scenery so it would be nice. But I don't think I'll like it if they ... well...have a bed picture as in under the covers. What I mean is sitting on a nice bed joking.

Couldn't agree with you more! I find that Charmaine has never been on any one of those long grand production. Wish she could be in it!!! Yes, and Ray's acting is good enough to take up the major role challenge....

However, even though TVB has not that many actor and actress, there is no guarantee that Charray will pair up again. Look at Roger and Charm, they have not worked in the same series since herbalist affair, how many years is it before this Pearl of Orient? Like 5 years or more?? And Bobby Au-yeung - also a few years loh.....I am so worried about not seeing charray again....sob sob...




Oh I think the JC wedding adertisement is a classic. They are absolutely made in heaven. But I doubt Charray will be in one since they have each done an ad for those wedding studio. It will be a while before another company will use them again for wedding ads. So, let's hope for something else. Maybe some real estate project? Like a young couple looking for an apartment to get married? I am not very fond of that Afontane ad, i think those look quite fake. Hey, how about them collaborating in travel magazine ?

I don't really fancy long productions. Maybe she can appear as a guest but long productions tend to drag. Family sitcoms? No way.

Actually I think Roger and Charmaine is not from the same generation of artists. Therefore TVB not pairing them up until 5 years later. He's concentrating on his LMS and SP and Jessica image anyway. Roger is like famous for being the 'retardo'. Raymond on the other hand, doesn't have a pairing that is hyped up like Boscolie, LJ and Roger+Jess. I know...RM, but Michelle left TVB and all. So there's more chances that TVB will pair them up again!

Helen, I disagree with you on this. Husband and wife looking for an apartment? LOL, no offence but real estates can find any old man and woman to do this. I don't mind the 'fakeness', what I want is really beautiful pictures of them together and its enough for me . Speaking of travel magazine, how about a travel show? I think I wouldn't mind if they filmed ONE.

About the fanfic, I think I'll attempt the modern one. The fantasy one seems quite hard to write. Tried but not satisfied. A modern setting gives me more freedom. I think I'll do the modern one. Sorry bear! I promised Helen to write one as soon as possible, so once I finish this Charray one I might start on the fantasy one. I'm still troubled about whether or not to write the Tavia one though.
