Bear, yeah writing a fan fic is no easy task. Very time consuming and a major commitment. I always admire those who write fanfics. Any maybe that's why there are many fanfics out there but very few got completed! Some fan fic span like 2-3 years from start to finish.....

Your fanfic has a good plotline, story and environment. Good introduction, though I wouldn't have wanted Charmaine to fall in love with Raymond so quickly! I sense a similarity with LWOLAP. Did you intend it Bear? LOL

However, to be honest Bear, the English is alright but it does need a wee bit of improvement. Maybe you shouldn't have lacked confidence in yourself by asking people to translate for you and depending on translation sites. You should type it out yourself! You can always ask me for editing help. Definitely would not mind .

As for DOP, I am already happy with episode 1. Indeed, VERY happy. Its love at first sight with Ka Chun Fen. Love Chun Fen. Just love her. DOP deserves high ratings! And plus, TVB wouldn't promote it if it is a bad series right?

Yeah fanfics are really hard to get by. It's not the matter of time but most of the time I just keep forgetting or procrastinating. It actually just takes very little time to write a chapter. But people get writer's block often, like me, so yeah. I guess I can't write when I am stressed! Therefore, going to wait until after the mid-year to relax a bit then continue writing.

Oh found it! Episode 19! Which means Alice and AZN, you guys watched the Charmaine VS Raymond scene! They fought! And the Pong Ban VS Long Fan Wan scene! These two scenes are superbly awesome!

You guys only watched until the part where Pong Ban died? Then there's something else immediately after. And also, Bosco will dress in a new costume for his deed . There's a lot of very cute and funny BPS scenes (Bosco+Power+Sharon). Enjoy! And there's some romance between Bosco and Sharon as well .

Plus there's gonna be a new plot with very interesting and intriguing strategies. LOL...ok imma stop crapping.

Hey Bear, yup, the way you describe how sad Ray looks, how Charm is so attracted by his sad expressions and curious in why he is so sad, reminded me of how Ray and charm first met in LWOLAP. I could picture the same sad look on Ray after betrayed by Sonija and also the curious and concerned look on Charm's face when I read your story. I just love Charray's chemistry in LWOLAP and glad to see the same chemistry in another setting.

As for Tavia-Ray-Charm love triangle...hmmm, I would say don't be too bothered by the fight among the fans lah. You are the author, and you should decide what you want in your story and only you know what is the best for your fanfic. You can't write good story if you don't like the story, right? At least you will have us to support you and all those who are mature and sensible enough to respect your creative integrity.

LOL, AZN agreed that you heck don't need to understand what they are saying. Glad that you watched it in Canto first because the Viet voices will just cut down on the glory of Charray! Every actor's voice is important to show their character's emotions.

Oh my gosh wow, AZN I just watched your MV. I love it! Here are my comments .

Parts I like:

- The beggining where they talked on the phone! Its so sweet and suitable! Wowzers!
- The part where Raymond was on the road and the Wo Ai Ni sounds softly, its so sad and nice!
- The part where it zooms in from the side to the place where Ray is sitting is also so awesome!
- The end where he walks sadly.

Parts to improve:

- The part where they had the sushi feast. Maybe you should try cutting down long scenes and just use certain moments of expressions. Sometimes it gets laggy to watch long scenes. But the biggest disturbance here is the loud and noisy rock music. It's very distracting .

- The talking near the car part. Same flaw, too laggy. You really should consider cutting down clips and using only certain expressions .

- Part where Raymond had a flashback. Same prob as above. But I like the grey effect and the Mandy calling him!

- Part where they are in the lift. Its easy to miss the point that Charmaine was pissed at him or something. This scene is not really suitable, again the laggy prob.

- Choice of music. It'll be perfect if only not for the distracting part!

- It would be so nice if you inserted Charmaine crying somewhere . LOL, shows that Charmaine loves Raymond too.

I know that it looks like you've got lots to improve on but I really really LOVE your MV! Keep on going and I'll watch all of yours! Going to go store your MV in my collection now . Go go go AZN!

Ok Back to Lwolap, Yep Range i did watched when PB and LFW fight!! woohooot there was a lot of actions....but then Charm Vs. Ray wasnt that impressive.....They did really fight like fight.. I was hoping MORE!! hehe

This week tape is all about the cute couple BS!! Omg when they were separated the bg song "Realize" was playing... perfect! Love it....Also i love every scene when they are together...Up on the roof!! Adorable!

However, i have this feeling for Lord Yin as well.. hes such a gentlemen. When he fell down off his horse to save Sharon I believe was soo righteous! Instead of kissing her...he was upholding himself while his hand was bleeding!! *ShocKed*

Not too much scenes of Charray though only one cute part was when Raymond embraced Charm on the bridge watching i think firecrackers?

Yes yes yes Alice, I love that scene when Ray embraced Charm on the bridge. One of the rare scenes when Charray give me a calm and happy feeling. They have some other embrace scenes, but most are more emotional, like when Charm cried or when Ray was hurt. This scene is, I think, the only one (correct me if I am wrong) when they are just doing what plain lovers do normally. Very sweet and peaceful.

The Charray fighting scene, yeah I was hoping for more, but this is good enough! I mean I wanted Ray and Charm to battle battle battle. Well, I suppose FHL wouldn't let any other clan members of his fight Charmaine so that he can ensure that she is safe! So they would battle and battle until they got into the temple and all those cool techniques will start flying out. And then Charmaine would UNLEASH her full power upon Raymond! He ducks, he dodges, he avoids, so as not to hurt Charmaine but he had to unleash his kungfu thingy he learned from Pong Ban at long last and Charmaine got hit outta the temple....

LOL, ok Imma stop crapping. Fantasies .

The scene on the edge of the wall thingy or I don't know what place, like what helen mentioned, is really sweet! I mean, I could really feel the cute affection and happiness that they rarely share . Such a scene gets really valuable with the tragedic couple that is FHL and CMY. Awww.

Anyways, bear I watched your MV. However at the end the music just got cut off and then it just ended abruptly. Not sure what happened. Did I download an incomplete version? It's 4.03 mins right?

First of all, thanks everyone for your comments, they are very helpful I kinda realized the draggy parts, but I was kinda lazy to cut the various scenes... I remember when I wuz creating this, muh comp wuz acting up and it would take the longest time to extract the various scenes (or limited scenes) of CharRay ... Also, if I were to make the scenes shorter, I was gonna run out to scenes to insert lolzz But next time (once my laziness decreases) I'll be sure to cut the scenes shorter....
And about the elevator scenes, the storyline goes like this... First Charmaine has that silly look on her face because she just thought of Raymond as a friend and thought he was joking, but then when she realized he was being serious, she freaked out and so on... and the rock-hard music was to show how confusing the whole situation is to her and show sign of their friendship turning down a rocky path *please regard this as poetic and not the mindless babbling as it really is* lolzzzz
I wanted a sad ending for this one because I was gonna continue part 3 with Raymond falling down an ebyss or something and goes back in time in the form of Fung Hang Lit and Mandy (Charmaine) realizing she loves him but Ray won't be coming back because he is now in love with Chun Mung Yiu.... or something like that BTW, anyone interest in making an mv with this theme because I don't know if I can do it.... first, it'll be too difficult and time consuming to find and cut the right scene.... second, I won't have a lot of free time now because I'm getting a summer job

Bear dear, I really like your choice of music (eventhough I have no idea what the lyrics means lolzzz) I like the scenes that you've selected (especially the begining part with the flying letter, flow very well with the music good job) However, like you said, some of the scenes and transition doesn't "flow" go together very well.... Also the scenes are kind of out of order... I don't get the plotline....

I like the way you put similar scenes together, like you cut from Ray's drinking scene to Charm's drinking scene, or Charm's smiling face to another smiling face at the same angle etc. But I am a little confused about the storyline. The more I watch LWOLAP, the more I am in love with Charray and this series. The scenery is so beautiful. I think the whole series is like a poem, so beautiful. And Charm is so angelic. CMY is a hard role to portray. You cannot use many facial expressions since she is a very calm person, but at the same time she has to go through many emotional turmoils.....And I LOVE FHL so much, as compared to Raymond's character in LFD.

Pearl! You should make a LWOLAP MV since your YY MV's are really good! I think you can make a really good job with FHL and CMY! Make!:)

LOL, usually you'll just create one out of thin air without much thought. And each MV has nothing really outstanding, memorable and special that makes it stand out from your many other MVs. So basically, my advice is spend more time with it! Heck, lol, you can ditch my advice because the only MV I ever made is a 20 seconds one so I guess maybe I'd need to produce something before I can talk .

AZN_Pearl, really looking forward to your third MV! Your I Love You MV has a really prominent storyline . Just a little confusion here and there but hey! Helen, lol, LWOLAP is much more serene and just so much more than a poem. I can't explain it but it is just so much more. It's an alternative life. It's the story of another. It's LIFE. Yes it's life! A realm where certain burdened people, personalities with different setbacks exist and lets us see their story and the very lessons they have learnt crystal clear. LWOLAP is one that can do it effectively . It's more than a poem, it's the story of life!

As for LWOLAP, Range, it is still like a poem to me. It is just ways of our expression. I think it is good to have different opinion as to what LWOLAP is to each of us. This just means LWOLAP is special to all of us in its own ways. A poem can be a masterpiece of work. It can be an epic, just like Homer's Odyssey or many work of our ancient poets in China. LWOLAP gave me a feeling that it is out of this world, not the storyline, but the way the mood, the scenery, the art direction, the photography, the relationships etc. It is so pure and beautiful that it is almost unreal to me.

As for Ray, I do agree that stimes his pose is quite "girly", especially when he is wearing those low cut tops in pink . I am sure, if he make those pose as Kenny or Moses in DOP then we will think he is totally macho. It all depends on the pose, the makeup, the wardrobe, the art direction etc. I am a great fan of Ray too. But I do have my own rational judgement. He is very cute in LFD. I mean his features are still very handsome, but I just don't like the character in LFD. Ray's interpretation in many ways reminded me of Ngor Siu in YY. The way he say some of his lines and his expression looks so familiar. This is not very good as a good actor should give new life to a new character. That's why I love FHL so much. He is such a "dai hup", really showed his mature and gentle side and have that "No. 1 brother" feeling....

Last but not least, if Ray really meant what he said in his recent interviews, meaning he is not just saying things to promote LFD, then he certainly has chance to be with Charmaine as far as age goes since he can accept women 4 years older than him. He like someone who is intelligent and understanding, but not the very noisy or overly smart type. I think Charmaine fits these criteria very well. BUT love is something no one understands. when love strikes, all these criteria will be flushed down the toilet. So who knows what will happen? Until then, we have LWOLAP, and hopefully many more to come, for us to ponder on and fantasize with.

I think Charmaine and Raymond is a suitable couple Hope that TVB will make another condition for them to act as a couple in another film !
