Epik High was in Seoul GangNam ApGooJung CGV for their new album ‘LOVE SCREAM’ showcase on 30th September.

The title song ‘1 minute 1 second’ was actually the love experience of frontman Tablo, he revealed that a lot of memories had came back when they practise on the song.

While member Mithra admitted that he has currently no intentions to be in a relationship and hope to work on his music for about 6 more years before he will start settle down with that someone he will meet and have a family.

While DJ Tukutz, seen with a new hairstyle at the showcase, revealed that he had broken up recently with his girlfriend, something that only the close friends know and revealed for the first time.

They also shared their perspective on love. DJ Tukutz revealed that eternal love is the most beautiful. While Mithra felt that love expressed naturally is the best. As for Tablo, love after separation is the most beautiful, because as one reminise the memories, love will seem more valuable.

This is the first time that Epik High does their album about stories of love. ‘1 Minute 1 Second’ is a song where electronica meets acoustic and analog. The album is released on 30th September.

I just came back home after the showcase, momentarily.
Lately, I've been hearing that the songs were good. Now it belongs to everyone.

During the showcase, I think I've been a little too honest when I confessed about our previous thoughts of breaking up the group since many were left surprised. The reasons for the confession was because of the fact that I overcame those thoughts and at some point, everyone just felt like a family. I apologize ^^.
Honestly, I've had those thoughts ever since the making of the last album. It had nothing to do with the discoordinations within our members, but rather because of the doubts I had with music in general.
Ever since the last few years, many talented singers and songs bloomed and this brought up the question of what kind of existence we take place/settle in the korean music industry, along with further doubts. No longer seeing our albums receive the treatment that we once had.. to the stubborn songwriter that I am... made me feel lonesome. The only thing we know how to do, the only thing we can show, is only this... and with the thought of simply slamming our fists on a bare wall (meaning that he felt like there was no use to it) made it even more difficult to create the albums.. On the other hand, I thought that I would maybe feel a little lighter (from getting off the burden that I've created), although I knew that if I stopped now, I would leave my heart aching. I also thought that life would be a lot easier. (sigh)
These were such stupid thoughts huh?
Well I think we were such cowards to think this way.
Even in times when our albums were doing fine, we were left with stupid worries and more worries... T T
Although its something that we constantly realize, music is something that I would never let go, even if I hate it
at times.
Just like how Hyori said it, I'll try not to "Gomin gomin hajima" (from her U Go Girl song, meaning 'don't, don't worry')
with Passion, I'll never rest. not even for a minute or a second~.^^

Maybe its because they know Korean, but genius can't be genius forever.
I think its nice that they chhose to reveal a bit of themselves this time. i feel like the boys are always distant. we know next to nothing about their lives, thier characters. but i guess that makes fans focus on the music more.

Thats why Epik High is soo good at instrumentals, sure everyone can do them but to put emotion into it is another thing

But I cant believe how some people can be disappointed...
Why? Because its to short? Well it is a mini-album after all.
And a really good one in fact haah

I guess the guys wanted to share how they feel by making this album, so that they could also get closer to the fans. Cause after all, we the fans have some part of making Epik High who they are today! Right?

But I dont think I'll even forget Epik High.
I've listened to alot of bands and different kpop groups...and so far I've ditched them all....
Cause they were getting boring...
But with Epik High..with each album they release they have a different sound
First and Second album, was more of raw hip hop with simple beats but hard raps.
Third, little off from the underground hip hop sound but still following their roots
Fourth, was a complete turn, darker
Fifth, heaps of electronic sounds
Even they keep changing their sounds, the content of the songs are still real.

Again, Epik High will never be forgotten.

During Mnet's Madam B's Salon the Epik High members jokingly called Tablo a woman and the men explained why he acquired such a nickname.

Apparently Tablo tears when he sees leaves falling off the tree and even cried after watching Spider Man 3. Tablo also reasoned that his excessive estrogen levels enable him to write lyrics that appeal to his female audience.

Tablo and 'Your Pieces'

Tablo (28) ’s new novel ‘Your Pieces’ has received overwhelming responses from fans.

It was reported that online reservation sales which took place from 15th October, and the book went up 10 positions on sales chart, and it was at #1 spot in the 2 days span from 18th-19th October.

Some of the reasons for such good response for the book are that Tablo graduated from Stanford University, and is one who has special perspection of the things he sees and hears.

Tablo revealed that he wrote stories from 1998 to 2001 when he was in the university and during his spare time. The stories are set in New York and features a cast diverse characters in the stories.

Of the 250 pages thick novel, there will be a collection of 10 short stories. Some of the stories include:

‘Strawberry feels forever’, ‘Rest, Mouse’, ‘The wall of our world’, ‘Matchbox’, ‘Coup De Grace’, ‘Hatred Crime’, ‘Victory’s glass’, ‘Andante’

The name my parents gave, 'Lee Seon Woong', the name I gave my self when I studied literature, 'Daniel Armand Lee'.
And, the name given as a present by the public and the fans, 'Tablo'.
One me, too many names.
Maybe I still will feel rightful, but I choose the name 'Tablo' I'm most thankful for.
