Personally, I think UTCOL is way better than LWOLAP. I really liked the cast and acting of LWOLAP but the storyline...I don't know. But it was too sketchy. Got boring at times, ending was way too perfect and it was draggy. Could have ended by 30 eps. Anyhow, as for UTCOL, so far it's lighthearted, great laughs with a hint of spellbinding love. Though LWOLAP's cast and actors were better, UTCOL's storyline interwines perfectly.

That's my opinion...what's yours?

LWOLAP or UTCOL. Both of 2006 and both of big hopes.

i think i prefer utcol. since its a shorter series, and not draggy and interesting. i think forty episodes was too long for lwolap.

eh..i dont rlly like lwolap because i dont rlly like watching "olden day" series..but utcol is really catchy and i love the cast!

I love utcol!! its soo good! the special effects make it much better and its more believable to me then lwolap.

UTCOL by far!! LWOLAP was too long. 40 episodes was too much considering it could have been 30.

i personally perfer utcol cuz it is short in length and modern time series. lwolap is too long and it's kind of boring too...

I'd have to go with LWOLAP.... it's one of the best ancient series I've seen in a long time, since series like TOB, War and Beauty and etc.

I prefer UTCOL. LWOLAP was way too long, 40 episodes. 30 episodes would have been fine, because I think it got really draggy and boring at some parts. Plus I thought some characters in there were rather dull and not very interesting to watch.
However I don't think we should compare the two series with each other, since one is ancient and more serious; and the other one modern and light-hearted.

utcol is wayyy better cus all the stars in it are good ones...even though most of the lwolp stars are cool except for sonija kwok!!! She just spoils the whole series!!

How do compare these series? Both very different types of series. I personally love them both.

well, if i had to choose, LWOLAP because of it's complexity compared to usual TVB series and well written characters, intriguing plot, great performances and uniqueness.

but i love both.
UTCOL is fun to watch, it's cute and entertaining.

This two series have nothing in common except some actors are in both series. It's like comparing apple and tofu.

But if I have to choose, I'll choose LWOLAP. I love it's complexity, 3-dimensional characters, its many powerful emotional scenes and the philosophy talks in the series.

To be honest i love UTCOL a bit more. But i have to pick LWOLAP. And i'm not even gonna talk about the rating. I find it kinda of unfair but that doesn't mean anything. Anyways, UTCOL is a light, sweet hearted comedy and is good but i could see how much work they put in to LWOLAP. Even thought it got a bit boring at the middle and end. I find it ok. Both have good cast and good story line. But i find LWOLAP storyline more interesting.

Of course, in this case we cant compared the best series by looking on the ratings. LWOLAP has a better plot in it and with a star-studded casts. Therefore, i would like to pick LWOLAP ahead of UTCOL.

between the 2 i choose UTCOL but i don't think they can be compared because one is a modern series and one is ancient. ancient series seem to be a bit more boring then modern ones in my opinon

it's quiet hard to choose between the 2 series as they both are of completely different storylines.. UTCOL is more of the romantic and sweet love story.. as for LWOLAP is mainly about martial arts with a bit of love in it.. I guess both are very good series.. i haven't finished UTCOL yet, so maybe when i've finished i can decide.. i must admit they are both pretty good series.. ^^

I love romance so its UTCOL for me and I thought that all three newcomer actors did very well in portraying their characters. LWOLAP was a bit draggy and sometimes the ancient sayings get me confused

I can't decide, they were both wonderful to watch in their own ways, although at times it got boring. The cast for LWOLP was what drawed my attention to watch the series in the first place, i was especially interested in the relationship between charmaine and raymond. Likewise for UTCOL, niki and kevin were so hott. But, ultimately i would have to go with LWOLP, because the ending was just beautiful. I havent seen such a perfect ending in like 1196046 years

I LOVE BOTH!!! this is so hard to pick, but after all...i have to support any series with the super super super hot and awesome RAYMOND LAM...so my votes goes to LWOLP

i like under the canopy of love more i guess cos its so romantic n touching d series is in lik cos kevin n niki r together dats y. i would lik to see dem more in tvb series.

i really liked UTCOL more than LWOLAP because i only say the last episode or LWOLAP and it was the best.....it really dragged so i thought the rest of the series would drag a lot more.....unlike LWOLAP, UTCOL is so much better, more suspenseful, funnier, and happier series....even the storyline is so more better than LWOLAP

I like Under the Canopy of Love better!! Lethal Wepons of Love and Passion was... good. But it was so long! 40?? that's when the storyline got boring. UTCOL was good becz niki and kevin were in it!! go NIKI!

i have to agree with Under the Canopy of Love is better. its funnier and they picked the cutest couple to match. its not because LWOLP was long, its just that they pull the storyline farther and the movie later on just got stupid. the movie wasn't that bad but at least put something interested in it if it was gonna be that long.

It seems quite bias to put such poll under the UTCOL thread.
I wonder if the same poll is placed in LWOLAP, would LWOLAP win?

I personally voted for UTCOL. It's a hard decision.

Basically, I really liked LWOLAP cuz Raymond is soooo kewl. And infact, LWOLAP was able to make me cry but UTCOL didn't. However I voted for UTCOL cuz it made me laugh out more. I find bosco soooo funny and the part that made me like it the most was when Bosco took Niki to the ball and said to his step mom "SHE'S VERY IMPORTANT TO ME" LOL, That wins my vote!!!

LWOLAP is too sad and very ummm, logical? where UTCOL, you just watch, relax and laugh.

UTCOL! It's funny, doesn't get you stressed, you can relax, there aren't as many fights as LWOPAL. The only thing i like bout LWOPAL more then UTCOL is that Raymond Lam was in it XP I also prefer modern series

I like both series. If I could have voted for both series, I would have, but I chose Under the Canopy of Love. I like Lethal Weapons of Love and Passion because I thought the chemistry between Raymond and Charmaine was very refreshing. Under the Canopy of Love was a happier series.

I like both series but prefer UTCOL as the storyline is better.
