my god. she is SO FREAKING annoying. her character and her acting. her character is annoying cause shes freaking stupid and conceited and doesn't listen to benny. she can't act because when she was screaming about the glue on her, the crying was fake and just hurts my ears. such a bad actor

She's really pretty though so far I don't think this charater suits her... She doesn't look like the all loud type. Also...where is she from?? Does she speak proper canto??! Seems to have bit of a weird accent~ maybe its just me....

i can't stand the clothes she wears in this series. she's supposed to be an university student that does strenuous & challenging field work.. but yet she's dressed like a 12 year old. as a matter of fact, even for a 12 year old those clothes are hideous

i do not think that really matter, since her character is still so young. Joey is only 22 years old in the series, i luv her character is so cute.

Shirley is so halirious in this series... she acts so mean but in a funny way... she makes me crack up... =D

i think it matters. everyone else's outfits in the series so far are suitable. for example, the acrobatic troupe dresses really stereotypical mainlandish and/or in workout attire. would the girls from the troupe be convincing if they wore mini denim skirts and stilettos instead? no right. in Shirley's case it's not as extreme as the example i gave, but it still hinders my imagination. but i'm glad in eps 4 when they go hiking she actually changes into hiking (looking) gear.

I really like Shirley !! I think she's a very good actress!! Furthermore, she's cute (that's why she became Miss HK 2001) and she's really comical. I always kill myself laughing when she plays in comedy. Keep your smile !

i really dont like her character in here so far cuz its just ridiculous how her boyfried cheated on her and shes all like..yea...and shes soo mean to benny

Shirley and Benny are really funny in this series, and they seem to be compatible co-stars. Too bad, Shirley ends with Michael, but that's fine too.

shirley is so cute in this serie. she is an straight forward person. she speak her mind. lolz. i dont think she is conceited but just competetive. she always up for a challenge with benny. she is so abusive though...haha...wen she found about jack's other girl, she hit benny and micheal while they were trying to hold her back. she was attacking them like crazy..lolz

yea that glue scene was... atrocious.

her character is annoying to the point that cute and funny are surpassed. the way she insists on being right and just ends up wrong all the time is stupid, especially sicne she won't even admit her mistakes. besides, there was no reason for her to be all rude to benny and michael from the start... it just seemed like she just felt like being that way and continued all throughout even if benny and michael try to help her out. i guess in a sense, even though i dont particularly like linda either, i'd rather have the two guys fall for her rather than two guys falling for shirley...so i'm glad that's how things are probably going to work out. i woudln't believe it if both bennya dn michael end up falling for shirley... its more believable for michael to end up with her just because the one he likes is taken.

Chapter 6, when she and Benny's mother were yelling and making fun of the 3rd party of the couple. That was some bad acting. She couldn't hold back her laughter. Very unnatural acting...she was being herself which I don't think is the point of that scene. Tell me if it was supposed to be like that.

i agree.. that scene as a whole was very fake. the whole setup felt so fake. not just shirley, but everyone in that scene felt fake.

you forgot the part where she was chasing benny for her wallet. she was laughing at that scene too, probably enjoying herself while she was at it. i dunno, but shouldnt she be seriously mad instead of....laughing?

Just finished watching eps 8 and I fine Shirley's character super annoying. She going way overboard with the treasure hunting. And one the that I don't like about her character is when she is proven wrong, she still denies it. Very annoying. but none the less, I love Shirley. She is so cute and pretty in the series.

im not a shirley fan but i really like her in this series the most ..she's alot better than linda's role..linda's character is so boring! she talks to soft too.. and she can't express her emotions enough.. but i can't really blame her she's a new actress just doing good for a beginner...

i think shirley is doing well in the show. she makes me feel that she is annoying but then i still like her. she is so funny. the way she portrays herself so well makes me like her more. i mean her acting skills has improved so much.

i didnt like her at first when she started acting, but slowly she is improving.

i think she is doing a really good job in this movie.. her actng seems better... and she is so cute with benny my opinion...

i like her role in this drama...some ppl may fine her character annoying...but i think her character is more outgoing...too bad she did not end up with benny in the drama...btw, congrats to shirley again...caz she won an international award....forget the whole title....very happy for her

Shirley and Michael did share quite a bit of chemistry in the last five epsiodes....I thought they make such a cute pair in terms of personality and appearance...I'm glad they paired up in this series...

i like shirley with benny...they r cute....but michael and shirley look quite cute too....together they have a lot of chemistry...enjoy watching the series....

really not a huge fan of linda...

I find her character quite annoying. She speaks in a high screechy voice and always yells at people. Her acting needs some improvement. It is the same as My Family and Angels of mission. She has those roles who is child-like and always jumps around.

i was want to state that in order for a real person to have shirley's hair do ... it would take a lot of time and effort to braid and tie and decorate.... it was nice... but everyday is boring...

and i really like her character very funny... character wise is good with michael but i think looks wise should have been with benny...

Am Support Shirley def. Here.. i Don't Like Linda! she cant act. Shirley other side is much better than her.. i wish i see her ending with benny but i know they wont. she will end withs michael. Michael is sweet and funny too like shirley in her:P But am watching episode 11 yet.

I think Shirley is cute and her acting is decent but she's limited in the type of roles she can play cuz of her appearance. Reminds me of Annie Man.. but I can only see her in these types of loud, childish roles..

i never thought of shirley and michael together. when they got together in the end, i was surprised. shirley was pretty good in acting in this series and the theme song was alright. i did not know that shirley sings....
