I wonder if she's gonna be good in this show???

Can't wait to watch this. I'm a big fan of Linda Chung She was pretty good in Always Ready.

Sorry not too big of a fan of hers I don't think her acting is all that. I don't think she should be the lead but hopefully her acting improved.

i'm not really a fan with her... and from her previous productions.. i dont think her style fits producing movies.. so i dotn think she'll do too great in this series...

i think her acting is ok... but there is room for improvement.

I cant wait to watch this series. I watched Always ready and really liked her, so hopefully you can maintain her currently excellent acting standards

i can never tell what type of emotions shes supposed to be portraying. its pretty confusing trying to predict what will happen next if you watch her facial expressions, because it seems like maybe she doesnt understand what's going on herself.

im sorry she cant act and i dont like her and im not planning to like her either..

I love Linda's character so far after each the first episode. She only appears in it for like 5 minutes, but it's great. She looks very fresh, cute, and pretty. I especially loved the circus performance and I can't wait until they focus on her character. Her acting was pretty good despite her short amount of lines. I love how she's going to have a lot of crying scenes because her crying is just awesome.

I'm glad TVB finally gave her a "young" role. In VOH II, she was 27/28 and supposed to act cold/mature/professional with a sweet interior/heart and a sad secret/past; in AR, her character was a university graduate also with a sad past and a cold exterior. So this role is very refreshing. She's 19 in it and very bubbly/energetic/determined. Very pretty image as well.

I can't wait to watch this series, it look very fresh! I love Linda in Always Ready and I am sure she will do great in this show too.

i really dont like linda, she always have the same expressions whenever she is sad or happy she tends to have same level tone of voices, and omg she have weird face shape and doesnt look pretty either. Conclusion: she cant act!

i like her in this series so far. her role is supposed to be sweet and shy.. and Linda does look naturally sweet and is soft spoken. i'm glad she got this role.

I'v seen the first episode, and I can only say, Linda can't act. It looks like she has no expressions. Her face has always the same expression. In always ready she has a very strong character. In this serie she tries to be soft. I don;t think this roll fits her at all. Where are the good actresses anyway in tvb?

She was barely in the first episode, so can't judge her performance based on that. She did look good though for her brief scene.

I dont really like her. Heard lots of people dont like elaine yiu, and her acting and her looks is mad terrible.
I watched the first 4 ep. and all I have to say is that elaine acts way better then her (a little more) and elaine could have been a better acter then her, not to mention her looks.
But still her acting isnt so so bad.. probably around the middle. And she's pretty nice in the series. ^.^. So so far my appression on her is okay.
Hope she doesnt get together with benny, cause i think benny matches more with shirley. My opinion though..

Linda seems a bit weird looking in the series. I've always though she's very pretty...but here....hm, it's just a bit different.

i dont think she could act... she has no emotion.... n plus her bangs make her look like a lil kid

So far, her acting seems pretty much the same in Always Ready, but a little more soft-hearted. I don't really like her hairstyle in this series. She looks way better with just the typical long straight hair (like in VOH)

Linda is just so sweet in this series. Finally, she's not playing a role where she's "cool" and "cold" on the outside with a weak/soft inside. Although she does a good job at those complex roles too. I love her character of "Dan Dan." She gives a lot of heart into her performance and the screen just lights up when she appears. She doesn't come across as pretentious but her character feels very lively and genuine. Cute and adorable! I don't think her character is that "shy" she's just softspoken but is friendly. Linda's doing a great job and she looks beautiful and eyecatching in all of her scenes! I'm rooting for her all the way and can't wait to watch more of her scenes. She just really makes you like her with her performance and she has nice chemistry with both Michael and Benny!

linda chung acted pretty good in "the bitter bitten" eh? i didnt really like her look here, so damn ugly! it was her hair, it looked really bad on her i hate da wite costume 4 da circus wasnt da red 1 much better, she acts better than shirley n shes prettier 2

linda is great! she look very professional for her character. Her movement and acting is great. she did a great job showing her friendly and shy character. when performing, she acted so good that it seem like she really an acrobat in real live! Lookin forward to see more of her!

i find linda always looks sad ...when she doesn't smile..she looks so sad or angry....that's the feeling i get watching her in Always ready......and its not liek she's purposly puting on that look...it is the way she looks all the time even in pictures...

her acting is not the best, i mean she does not show th eemotions in her tone and she plays too innocent/shy and hre voice sounds like she is out of breath a bit and putting alot into it...ofcourse this is my opinion and i see that there are many contradictory points to mine above; i guess its how oyu see things. Im not a fan of Linda Chung's nor have i seen her in other roles so my opinion may not be as based form a broad sourcde of information.

from the preview, when benny gave linda the leaf boat, does anyone koe what benny said to linda and what was linda's reply back? I dont understand chinese, but from benny's expression, it seem like he is serious.

michael used small flowers to arranged the numbers ("5 2 0") and placed it on the leaf boat..linda doesn't know what it means , so she accepted it and she asked benny what's the meaning of " 5 2 0", if u read the 3 numbers in mandarin, it means "wo ai ni" which is "i love u", so linda answered him"don't joke"..she thought that benny is kidding (benny is not confessing to linda, because they haven't fall for each other at that time)..michael on the other hand thought that linda has accepted him, so he is very happy n shows off to benny that he has succeeded.

her acting is just normal... no very good or bad.....for new actor, i think she is quite okay... because she is very fresh and sweet

Lets see. Her acting isn't bad for a newcomer but, I don't really like her acting in this role. Maybe 'cause her voice is of "sympathy" type yet her character is a weak but goes for the best type. Sure, the "sympathy" voice works for her weakness but she uses it wrong and it doesn't work out.

i like her acting.. she's not the best but there's still time for her to improve since she's a beginner... I liked the part when she and benny were tryign to scare each other with the animals, it was hilarious

I think she is like playing the same character as in the other show she did with Ekin. I forgot the name but she still plays the character of the orphan and boo-hoo I have no other relatives. Blah, blah, blah. It's so annoying how she keepts repeating that and she's afraid of everything. Eventhough she does stand up for herself sometimes it's so stupid how someone is like that.

I thought she did a decent job in this series...her chinese definitely looked like it improved a lot since VOH II...but her crying could've used more improvement. It's just when she scrunches up her face...it really looks like she could be laughing or crying..I guess personally that is a good thing, she has happy face but she's not a bad actress. I prefer Charmaine Sheh.

Urgh urgh urgh, No she is not acting well. She is playing a mainland girl, the way she is wearing clothes, etc. Not my favorite. As for one part, in the last episode, she is trying to be hard. (Coming up for a woman, as her man has a mistress), so unreal. It just does not fit her original character in this serie.

she always get the pityful, shy roles. i wanna see her in a role like shirley's... very outgoing and loud. than, can i actually judge her acting, because right now, she is pretty boring.

i don't like her character in this series, esp her look, basically - it's not flattering at all. i know that she's supposed to be a country bumplin, but not to the extent that even her sidekick looks better than her!

and i don't like her i'm-so-pitiful role, i esp hated the part where she kept squealing that she was so scared that it was dark when they were in the cave in ep15..it really really got on my nerves..

all in all, i think that she didn't showcase much acting skills in this series..eek

linda looked so cute in the wedding dress at the end of the series! her acting overall, i would have to say wasn't all that great. her character was ok.
