I was thinking... the grandpa in this series is kind of young to be a father to benny's dad. I mean, either find a younger man for benny's dad or find an older man to be his grandpa. the father and the grandfather look around the same age, except the grandfather is pretty good at pretending to be old with moving around slowly and the dyed white hair...but still...maybe tvb is running out of older actors.

also, where in China are they? why does everyone seem to speak perfect cantonese when in other series set in Hong Kong you have characters with thick mandarin accents trying to speak canto?

I think Shirley is being typecasted as the annoying, obnoxious girl that always yells at the main characters for no apparent reason. Her voice is a little annoying screeching like that, maybe they should pick someone else... esp since shes supposed to be out there digging all day, she's particularly pale and well dressed. looks more like an office lady [OL].

Benny and Michael are pretty good at their roles, just maybe a little older than they should be for kids fresh out of college. maybe they were Grad students just finished with their Masters? They have pretty good chemistry as well.

I think that the witnesses of the ancient treasures supposedly about like 100 years ago is a bit too young -___- theyre like 70 ? the grandpa looks older than them

Benny and Michael are def too old to be college grads.. and I agree that Shirley does seem to get these types of roles a lot.. she plays them well though. I didn't like Linda in her character though.. maybe it's her acting?

I think Michael and Benny fit their role a lot.

Me too, personally i dont think they look that old lol.

I think that all the people in this series was okay.
