as to the post by the person about the incident in germany... i think she's not being very realistic. like one of those who read too many fanfics and expect your idols to be perfect just like in a fairy tale. that was just one incident and it doesn't mean that they are bad people just because of it. and whatever they did is neither illegal or immoral so i dont see the problem. we're just their fans not their parents of whatever. if they decide to smoke its their business isnt it. i dont approve of it either but who are we to tell them what and what not to do? plus it was after a long flight and expecting them to be overjoyed just cos a fan turned up when they didnt want to be bothered is kind of deluded. plus they're probably grouchy after not being allowed to smoke the entire flight. which would explain dongwan's relatively better mood.

Shinhwa Andy had changed! Not in a huge scale concert stage, but in a mini theater, not with the cuteness of shinhwa, but as the role of JangJaeHyuk. In his first musical challenge [Music In My Heart] he had shown a way matured image than he has in his past. Below content is a true ardently interview with Andy before his musical play.

Anxiety - before challenging the musical
When i saw the [Music In My Heart] music plot, i really like it. Then i had a greed on taking the job. But when i see it's a musical play then i start worrying about it. Was very stress, but after i watch the play i felt it's interesting and yet touching. Then i handed up the challenge contract and apply for a 1 month individual practice. Firstly, i have been a rapper in shinhwa for 10 year, and i feel fear in singing, so everyday i accept practice courses on making it better. But the instructor pointed out that i am lack of confidence after hearing me. So it cause me to sing everywhere i go to increase my confidence in me. Just like the sentence 'Practice makes perfect', and unremitting it, suddenly i just felt that i am being different. I always got lecture, the sign language instructor told me before, when doing a sign language i should not always dance (laugh) but towards my first challenge and debut in music play, to me is a good experience and energy.

No more a shy guy - From ‘shy guy’ to a ‘romantic man’
The image changes alway bother me. From shinhwa debut with our first album, 2nd album and then 3rd album which is stressing on the beauty image of a man in 'only one'. Being different than in shinhwa's image, honest speaking, i am still and always in that image. (pretty boy image i assume). So being as the youngest with a cute image is strong. In my solo activities i have been expressing those kind of images. But as i am aging, i have the thoughts of changing in my image. that's why i would want to take the role in [Music In My Heart]. JangJaeHyuk's age is not young, he is a fine gentle and a charming polite man. During the musical practice, i always think 'I Am JangJaeHyuk' to control my mind. When i am alone, i will still act like jangjaehyuk, even when i talk i uses the lines in the play. But, when i see the shinhwa hyungs i will just automatic turning back to my origin self. (laugh)

Desire - towards 100% fulfil on his 'Eager Satisfaction'
Back to the pas, things that i wanted are all fulfil. From 'nonstop4' 'banjun drama', drama 'Lovers in Prague' and to now musical play. But after completing everything perfectly, i had never blurted out the word 'i'm satisfy' from my mouth before. After doing it, regret and upset always win over in me. I am those type of person who must do til i feel satisfy then only will relieve myself. So, in this play i would not let go on all and each chances that comes, everything must be done 100%, wide ambitious. The important is, this play is i personally wants to complete, i made the decision myself, so i must do it perfectly til the end.

Youth - A 'teenager' who always dreams to challenge
Currently focusing on [Music In My Heart]. after this i would like to challege a new production, drama, movie or another musical play. And planning this year december official back to shinhwa activities. Firstly on december 6th Japan concert will be the starting point of shinhwa asia tour concert. Seems like the local fans are dissapointed why we must start on overseas acitivities. Because next year shinhwa debut 10 year anniversary planning is a hug activity, so hope everybody will look forward onto it. About the concert is still a secret! But to let everybody no regret and upset, we will do our best, if my target did not reach to no1, it must be no2. Although always being the best 1 is good, but being as no.2 too would not be that bad right? But for not being the 3rd we will work hard on it.

[07.10.25][news] Shinhwa member Andy secretly preparing for his 1st solo album

Shinhwa member Andy is preparing his first solo album in utmost secrecy.

Recently, Andy who has displayed his outstanding acting skills in the musical , has plans to release his solo album,

A source close to Andy said, "Andy is now preparing for a non-Shinhwa solo album, but due to the musical and Shinhwa's solo album this year, it may be a little difficult to manage. However, we can expect to see Andy with a new image as a solo singer early next year."

Another source also said, "Right now it's still all in the planning stages, the timeline and songs have not been decided yet."

This year, Kim Dongwan, Lee Minwoo and Shin Hyesung have all focused all their efforts on activities for their solo album releases, and Andy looks set to be joining this solo team soon.

Especially since another Shinhwa member, Junjin, will also be releasing his solo album next year, Andy may be facing competition from Junjin.

In addition, Shinhwa will be releasing their 9th album on 6 Dec this year (*note: it should be the single, not the 9th album ). This is the first reunion since they released "Winter Story 2006-2007" on 25 Jan this year.

Shinhwa member Andy will be performing stage in Europe famous producer cum DJ Benny Benassi in his Special album which will be releasing in the korean market with title Party Dream Universe.

Besides than artist DJ, Andy will be writing/producing his own music too, and being the DJ of the song. This is Andy's solo DJ performance stage, and also the international star Benny Bennassi's opening performance, within this period andy has been preparing as a producer and it's a very meaningful task for him, because he has been preparing this for such a long period, so this will be a speical perfect performance.

Shinhwa rapper Andy will release his first digital single at the end of this month.

Andy's management agency T.O.P Media said today that, "Andy, who has been known as Shinhwa's rapper since his 1998 debut, will be releasing his first solo digital single as Andy and not as part of Shinhwa."

The agency said, Andy has recently transformed into Jang Jae Hyuk, the male lead of the musical 'Music In My Heart', and is deemed to have great potential as a musical actor. He has been taking vocal lessons and his vocal skills have improved greatly, thus resulting in the release of the solo single.

T.O.P Media also said that "the title of Andy's first single has not been decided yet, but it will be a song that is very suitable for the winter season, and shows off Andy's cheerful and adorable image.

When asked about his feelings about this, Andy said "This is my first time releasing a solo single since my debut 10 years ago, so I'm feeling very emotional and nervous, even more than the time when I made my debut with Shinhwa. After challenging myself in the musical, I hope to challenge myself again with the preparations for the solo album, and I want to show the fans a different side of me."

According to T.O.P Media, after releasing the digital single at the end of this month, there are plans to release his first full album in January next year.

On the other hand, after wrapping up the last performance of his musical on 2 December, Andy will be taking part in Shinhwa's Asian tour as a Shinhwa member, and will be actively involved in Shinhwa's group activities.

Shinhwa member Andy will release his first solo album early next year.

Andy recently began recording his first solo album, which is scheduled for release in January next year. The popular boy band member said his goal was to show his fans "a completely different side of Andy."

Prior to his album release, Andy plans to introduce the title song on the Internet in the form of a digital single. An official at his management agency said that the song captures the atmosphere of the winter season after the first snow has fallen. The official added that the upbeat song fits well with Andy's cute boyish image.

Recently, the singer also made his debut as a musical actor by taking on the lead role of Jang Jae-hyuk in 'Music in My Heart.'

Organized by MG Show & TOP, Shinhwa’s member, Andy meets his Chinese fans for the very 1st time at Seoul University Avenue’s Freedom Theater.

Before the meeting began, Andy presented his fans from China, Taiwan and Hong Kong his latest musical performance《Music in my heart》. Even though the content was being sung in Korean, but the organizers had prepared translations in Mandarin, letting the Chinese fans understood the entire content of the Musical. The performance ended successfully, receiving huge applause from all the fans.

After the musical performance had ended, because there is a small part where Andy did some sign language in the musical, the organizers specially let Andy to invite 3 of his fans to come on stage to learn this sign language from him. The fan who did the best will receive a personal signature picture from Andy. After the fan meet up had ended, Andy took group photos with his fans as remembrance. The event organizers gave the Chinese fans to have close interaction with their beloved singer, letting them experience a special trip that they will remember forever.

Idol stars are expanding their horizons and Andy of boy band Shinhwa is one of them. But fans, even fans from abroad, remain loyal. About 250 fans from China, Taiwan and Hong Kong gathered at Ja-U Theater, Daehangno in Seoul on Sunday afternoon to see the musical ``Music in My Heart'' starring Lee.

Chiang Pei-hsin, 21, from Taiwan came to Korea on a seven-day trip to see the musical. She highly praised the show saying, ``I came to see Andy, but I got much more than just Andy. Having first seen Lee in the Korean variety show ``X-Man,'' Chiang is a big fan of Korean television shows.

Sponsored by Seoul Tourism Marketing Division of Seoul Business Agency, ``Music in My Heart'' invited Chinese fans to the show and special fan meeting with Lee. Chinese subtitles were provided to help understanding the storyline of the musical. Lee's new single was also first aired to the public at the fan meeting.

The musical is a romantic comedy about a dumb playwright Min-a who writes scripts with her four imaginary friends. Then she meets handsome, perfect actor-director Jae-hyeok, played by Lee. Premiering in 2005, ``Music in My Heart'' is a hit Korean original musical.

PMC Production, the producers said that in addition to Chinese, many Japanese have seen the performance and Japanese musical companies want to perform ``Music in My Heart'' in Japan. ``This universally understandable love story combined with Lee's ticket power, we think ``Music in My Heart'' could be successful in Japan, too.''

The musical is currently playing at the Ja-U Theater in Daehangno, northern Seoul. Lee will act only until Dec. 2, but the show has an open run.

After leaving the musical, Lee will release his first solo album and debut as a DJ at Benny Benassi's Party on Dec. 29 at Coex InterContinental Hotel. Before the release of Andy's first album in 2008, Andy's first digital single has been released on 30 November. His first solo single, Extraordinary Imagination, is a collaboration with Yubin of the Wonder Girls and Park Jin Young.

As a Shinhwa member, Andy has expanded his solo career to acting and musicals, and in 2008, 10 years after his debut, he will be releasing his first solo album. Andy, who is currently working hard on recording for his album, has released the first single from the album in a digital format for the festive season. This is Andy's Extraordinary Imagination.

Extraordinary Imagination was originally done by Rollercoaster member Jinu in 1996 as his first solo track, and garnered a great deal of popularity. As the cheerful and upbeat style of the song suits Andy's image very much, thus he decided to include a remake of this song on the album.

Andy's Extraordinary Imagination, sees him collaborating with the Wonder Girls, who are riding on the popularity wave of Tell Me, and JYP, who has recently made his comeback. The rap in Extraordinary Imagination was written and recorded by JYP himself and also features Yubin of the Wonder Girls, demonstrating a sincere friendship between the seniors and juniors.

Yubin and Andy actually knew each other a long time ago, as Yubin and Andy were under training from the same management company before she joined the Wonder Girls.

Yubin says that she is very glad to be taking part in senior Andy's album and she happily agreed to feature in the rap of the track. Andy says, "Senior Park Jin Young and Yubin of the Wonder Girls have given me a lot of strength with their participation, and I really thank them from the bottom of my heart."

Shinhwa's Andy, JYP and the Wonder Girls, popular composer Hwang Seung Shik (who also wrote Shinhwa's Hero and Hey Dude, Lee Soo Young's Grace, DBSK's My Little Princess, SS501's Snow Prince), together with a fantastic production team, have all come together to make Andy's brand new version of Extraordinary Imagination the "heat number" of the winter season.

[Diary] 071204 Andy: Thank You Again, Thank You

May Take Out With Exact Proper Credits

It's been a day since my last performance. Firstly I still want to thank everyone again... Though it's already been 50 performances, I can still feel the nervousness I felt during the first show. Time flies, doesn't it? To everyone who took time to watch the show, to everyone who helped me in one way or another.. those who gave me their support, everyone, thank you. When the curtains fell for the last time, although there were many things that I wanted to say, but when I heard my fellow actors' messages at the end of the show, I could only stand there and let my tears fall ^^ I couldn't speak normally... Once again thank you to everyone~~ It's because of you that I'm able to stand on the stage of the musical~~ Although I gave my last performance, is still going on~ Everyone please give the musical all your support... Tomorrrow is Tuesday... I may still go to University Road in the afternoon^^ I think I'm already starting to miss the musical stage which has allowed me to learn a lot and feel a lot?

Hmm... I'm now putting even more effort into recording the album, so I will still present a brand new image to you next year... So I'm working hard, recording in the studio today!!!! Also, Shinhwa will be having our tour soon.. in Japan and China~~ I'll be back after our fantastic concert!!!

1) no news yet or confirmations if ever Andy will have his co-members have a special participation in his album just like the other members do in each solo albums. but who knows, right??

2) Music in my Heart is Andy's very first musical stage perf since his debut.

3) Banjuns?? so many dear.. around 29 stories.. =D

4) He doesn't have any movies yet but he has a supportive role in the series Lovers in Prague.

Shinhwa member ANDY's last musical challenge performance for 'Music In My Heart' was on December 2nd, and he expresses his reluctant after ended 50 performance through his web page.

After Andy had completed the no50 performance on December 2nd, Andy shed his tears on stage after watching the message clips made by the musical actors, Andy went onto the stage for the last time and gave out his thank you speech saying "The musical's rehearsal happens just as if it was 2 days ago, It has been quite sometime that i refuse to believe that I'm actually leaving the stage soon." then he expresses his gratefulness to all the actors, staff and to all the audience, at the same time he was also shedding his tears.

Started since September 7th, within 3 months he had completed 50 musical stage performances schedule of 'Music In My Heart'. After Andy's last stage performances had ended, under the message clips and the passionate applause from the audience he shed his tears and express of his heavy footsteps of leaving the stage. On the 2nd day after the final performance, through his own web page he had written a message to express his grateful and passion towards the musical stage and the emptiness after leaving the place.

On Andy's final performance, Shinhwa Eric & Shin Hyesung came to watch the musical and also express their congratulate.

Being as a success debut of a new musical actor, Andy had receive invitation to act in other musical.

Addition, After the musical performance ended, Andy once again will be back in the position of a singer and start running on his solo programs. He also had release the song 'Irregular imagination' which feature Wonder girls Yubin, On year 2008 January he will official start his first solo album activities.
