The Jordanian Government sent an army to the ancient ruins near Amman to safeguard the filming of 9 Super Stars during the commercial. The treasure seizure sequence is ranked top secret. Though F4's warrior images has been released yesterday, their agent Zhi
Xiang Li frankly said,` We don't have the lines. Just that F4 has to be suspended by wires. They have the most fighting scenes so it will be very laborious. There are 7 media teams outside so in fear of exposing the
image when they move about they will be shielded with
cloth. A tent has been set up for make-up. This is their first at being warriors. The four of them will appear very rugged.'
Pepsi claims that this is the biggest cast and
production team for a commercial ever till date. Besides F4, there's Aaron Kwok, Sammi Cheng, Jay Chou, Jolin Cai, Edison Chen and so on. The 7 days at Amman is for filming the two episodes of `9 Stars'Seizure of the
Treasure'. Just the working personnel alone exceed a
hundred. Each of the Super Stars has their own make-up artiste. A tent is set up for each individual so there won't be a problem as to who comes first or last.
However F4 has the most members. Thus just seen in a
row, their heroic look is really stunning. Once their `super flying skills' are displayed they are more outstanding than the other Super Stars. `All the images are by Yu Jia An. Every one has to spend at least 2 hours dressing up. There about 30 accessories of varied
sizes, with the addition of re-bonding hair and hair pieces. When they looked at each others' `dignified' look, they had such a good laugh. Zhi Xiang Li revealed that the image consultant brought a lot of comics and
archaeological texts in order to transform these four
dashing, gentle guys into valiant martial arts experts.
How do the four guys feel about wearing 30 over pieces
of accessories and hanging by the wires? Zhi Xiang Li said laughingjoyfully, `They like it very much. As only they have these scenes and it is the most crucial part of the story so it is a significant part of the `9 Stars' Seizure of the Treasure' too. F4 are not afraid of danger and will not be using doubles. They are so daring.'
According to knowledge, the remunerations of F4 for
this commercial will be on an individual basis. Jerry Yan and Zai Zai will be in the tens of millions. Ken Chu and Vanness Wu will also be around the same range. The four of them together are the most prominent amongst the 9 Super Stars.

The toughest mission in Pepsi History
Pepsi¡¦s nine stars have safely landed in Jordan and are beginning the filming work. Jay, Jolin, Edison and F4 landed on the 19th whereas Aaron and Sammi arrived on the 20th. This sharp team has attracted fans from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan to tag along, making the tough job even tougher. It has heavied the burden of the whole team. In order to tackle this problem, the production team is planning to make changes to their itinerary so that their filming process won¡¦t be disturbed.
Pepsi¡¦s marketing manager, Ms. Li pointed out that, ¡§We want our commercial to be flawless, that¡¦s why we chose to set it in Jordan. Another reason we chose the Middle East, is that we want to minimize their pressure and keep our ad confidential before it¡¦s officially exposed. We hope that the fans won¡¦t trail so close and make up stories and characters for them to play. For those who are following them, do be careful at all times and please respect our commercial secrets. I hope everyone would understand our stance and don¡¦t continue to ask their agents, because we already have made a deal to keep this confidential.¡¨
When Jay, Jolin and F4 were waiting for the transfer flight to Dubai, they thought that they could go out, walk around and get some fresh air, but some airport staff recognized F4. It¡¦s really surprising they were even recognized in Dubai, so they had to stay inside. After a 20-hour long haul flight, Pepsi prearranged some leisure activities for them. However, because they were fans¡¦ surveillance all the time, they had to stay in the hotel. I guess they won¡¦t be able to go out and take a good look around Amman these few days.
F4¡¦s looks are the last ones to be exposed and it is believed that it¡¦ll make the fans go hyper again. F4 is together again, showing their own characteristics. Jerry with a murderer¡¦s gaze, Vanness with the heaviest costume and Ken matches up the best in traditional costume. Zai zai proudly said that, ¡§My look is just so so, only hipper than Jerry¡¦s, better-looking than Ken and fights better than Vanness.¡¨

Here's a little something to whet your appetites for the "All About Wu" GT...
When Vanness was here in Singapore to host the MTV Asia Awards 2004 on
Valentine's Day, he also did some interviews and made some TV
appearances... including a hosting spot on MTV Ask
I was able to watch some MTV Ask clips, and I decided to type out a
transcript, so that I could share what Vanness said with everyone here
I'm not sure if this is the ENTIRE MTV Ask episode with Vanness in it, or
whether there's more than one episode that he appeared in, so I'm not sure
if this is the COMPLETE transcript, but it's what I could get from whatever
clips I was able to see of Vanness on MTV Ask.
Just wanted to share what I could with everyone
So here's Part 1!!
VANNESS: MTV ASK TRANSCRIPT (PART 1)

Hello everybody, my name is Vanness, and you're watching MTV Ask.
And today, for the next hour, I will be returning all your questions that
you've asked and you've posted on the MTV.com.
So, let's get to it then, shall we?
The first question says, "Hey Vanness, you were a guest at the 2003 MTV
Asia Awards and this year, you're the host. If you have the chance, would
you like to be a MTV VJ?"
And this is from Art, from Thailand.
Well Art, actually, the first thing I ever did when I got to Taiwan was… I
tried out for the MTV VJ Hunt.
They were actually looking for a VJ, and there were 10 MTV VJs… and it was
chosen out of like hundreds… and I was the Top 10.
And then, I lasted the Top 5!
And then… I got cut!
So MTV just <**schwick**> cut me right outta there, said "No, you're not VJ
material!"
So y'know, I dunno… I dunno if I have the chance anymore… but er,
hopefully, y'know, we'll see… if I'm able to actually host a show that I
really feel passionate about, and I really enjoy… then yeah, y'know,
there's always possibilities!
So let's get down to the next one, which is from Mika, from the Philippines.
And this one says, "Dear Vanness, which artist would you want to work with
on a song?"
Erm, which artist??
Actually, there's a lot of good artists out there.
If you're enquiring to like any US artists… actually, I worked with Beyonce
before on her "Crazy In Love" track, which was a great honour for me.
But if I have another chance, I'd probably wanna work with, er… I'd
probably wanna work with… oh, there's so many… probably, Timberland…
producer-wise, Timberland or the Neptunes actually, so… OK.
So anyways, here's another… oh, er, let's see… I'll bring you a new video
from good friends of mine, Machi… it's called "Jump 2003".

Hi everybody, welcome back to MTV Ask.
And without further ado, we're gonna get back onto the questions… so…
Y'know, I feel a little bad, 'cos, y'know, this is like all about me,
y'know… but I wanna know more about you guys… well but, er, hopefully,
we'll have another show about that, so let's get on with the questions.
It says, "Dear Vanness, what's the most hilarious, shocking or dumbfounded
question you've gotten from an interviewer?" and this is from Anyabelle,
from the Philippines.
Erm, the most dumbfounded question… er, I can't really recall… because I
get so many sometimes... <**smiles, and looks a little embarrassed**>… but
erm, it would probably just be, y'know, er, er… oh man… I really can't put
my finger on it, because y'know, we get interviews like 5, 6 times a day
sometimes… and the questions just keep repeating… so to me, towards the end
of it, they all start seeming, y'know, the same… and dumbfounded… nah, I'm
just kidding… but er, yeah… so er, probably just, like, the obvious
questions, y'know, er, "So how do you feel now that your hair is gone? Are
you sad?"
I don't think I'd ever be sad if my hair's gone, but y'know… just some
questions here and there, but nothing really ever that dumb… but if I knew,
I'll leave it on MTV Asia for you guys, OK?
Right, let's move on to the next question…
And this is from Zelleay, I'm not sure if I'm pronouncing it right, it's
Z-E-L-L-E-A-Y, so… And this is from Korea, OK… and it says, "Hi there
Vanness, boxers or briefs?"
And WOW, that's pretty straightforward there, isn't it??
But er, to get to the point, let's see… y'know, I like boxers and I like
briefs… so er, I mix 'em together, and I get the boxer briefs, y'know… 'cos
right there you get the best of both worlds, y'know… it's kinda tight, but
it's kinda not so, y'know, loosely, y'know… it's nice and snug, y'know… so
er, it's boxer briefs… alright?
Next question is, "What's the most outrageous thing a fan has done for
you?" and this is from Momo, from Malaysia.
Erm, outrageous thing that they've done for me??
Er… I've actually had some pretty kind fans who have actually done some
really good charitable work… for community actually… for the environment…
planting trees, and taking care of sheltered animals, and all that… so
outrageous, no… generous, kind, yes.
Erm, outrageous thing that has been done TO me probably would be from a
handshake, to a grab, to a hug, to a smack on the neck… er, kissing-wise…
so that was probably like, I wasn't expecting it, so that was that.
Alright, so let's move on with the music videos now, shall we?
This one is one of my favourite groups as well, it's called Coldplay… and
this song is called "Clocks".

Hello, welcome back to MTV Ask.
I am your host today… Vanness!
And I'm gonna answer some more questions about… Vanness!
So let's get to it!
This one says, "Hello Vanness, how was your experience in your debut movie
Star Runner, and are there any plans for another movie?"
This is from Hamtaro, from Indonesia.
The debut?
It was a wonderful experience to actually finally see everything come
together all at once, and er, just to see the final product that everybody
so hardly worked on… erm, the director, the actors, the cast, the crew… and
to be able see so many other of my peers there was an amazing treat.
And my parents… I mean, my family, was there also… so it was really nice,
it was really touching, and erm, it's one of those moments that I won't
forget for awhile.
Er, any plans for another movie?
Hope so, and erm, just waiting for the good scripts to come up.
Er, right now, I'm just concentrating actually on my 2nd album, so as soon
as I'm done with that, erm hopefully, I get another script through the
door, and I'll see you guys on the big screen again.
Alright, next question says, "What's up, Vanness? With your current
schedule, do you still have any free time for yourself? What do you do?"
And it's from Lisa, from Thailand.
Well… er, even though I have a busy schedule, but whenever I have the free
time, erm, I either just hang out with my friends, nothing too crazy, just
er, we play computer games, y'know… I'm a dork at heart still, so er, we do
that… or watch movies, which is one of my favourite things to do still, so
y'know… either that, or I go buy a lot of DVDs, 'cos I'm a VERY BIG movie
fanatic, so er, I got all these movies at home that I just haven't even
watched yet, but y'know, that's one of the past-time favourites that I love
to do… I can watch 3 movies in ONE DAY(!!)… and that's at the movie
theatres… just jump around… <**sticks out tongue**>… but neat!
So let's move on to the next video, which is from one of my favourite
rappers, DMX, and this song's called "Party Up".

Hello everybody, welcome back to the final segment of MTV Ask.
I'm your host, Vanness, and er, today, I'm gonna answer some of your
questions, so...
This one says, "Hey Vanness, what were your aspirations as a kid? Have you
accomplished them?" and it's from Jeanette, from Indonesia.
My aspirations as a kid… er… actually, I just wanted to have fun as a kid…
I just wanted to… I was really… I was really playful… I was really… I was
running around and couldn't really stop running around… I was like that… I
liked to just enjoy myself, and have fun, and make sure that everybody
around me is having fun too… so er, I guess… have I accomplished that??
To this day, I'm still running around and… and having fun at doing what I'm
doing, y'know… which is my work… and I love it… and er, tryin' ta make
everybody around me… the fans, the people that I work with, everybody have
a good time as well… so I think I have accomplished, er, most of my
aspirations, as of er, since I was a kid... well yeah, it's all because of
you guys too, so thank you.
OK, next question!
"Hey Vanness, you've been in the industry for a long time. Do you think
you've changed, and how?"
This is from Vanessa, from Singapore.
Er, I've been in this industry… ooh la, bubba… can't talk right now… I've
been in the industry for about close to 3 years, and er, have I changed?
I think I've changed, in the sense of realizing and understanding what the
entertainment business is about than from before… I used to think of,
y'know… it's all about glamour and all this and that… but it's more, I
think a lot of it has to do with if you can stick around it.
If you can stick around it, while going through this whole whirlwind of a
circus, er… that's the most important thing… which I TRY to do??… er, I
hope I do?… and, er… you know, er, it's something that's given to you as a
gift from, y'know, a higher being… mine is God… so er, I thank Him, and I
just er, I hope I haven't changed for the worse, and I change for the better.
And y'know, all good things must come to an end, so y'know, just like this
show has to come to an end right now… but erm, before we leave, I'd like to
leave you off with one last music video, which is a pretty hot video, I
think, in the new sense of terms, which is from Jay-Z… so I'll see you next

Welcome back to MTV Ask… again… where today, I'll be returning all your
questions, so let's get to it again!
The first question again, is from Coken, from the Philippines.
This reads "Hi Vanness, what would your ideal date be like?"
Wow!
My ideal date, erm… would probably consist of 5 beautiful women, all
wearing barely anything, and taking me out to dinner… nah, I'm just
kidding… probably just, y'know, dinner, and erm… dinner is all, all that
really matters… because if the conversation is just awesome, nothing else
really matters… I can, I can even go for coffee, or, or, anything… so er,
my ideal date would be just having a really, really good, deep conversation
with another person.
OK, alright, now let's see, next one is from Rika, from Singapore, it says,
"Hey there Vanness, what would it take to make you the happiest man alive?"
Well, erm… actually… having you guys, y'know… supporting me all the way is,
y'know… pretty close… it's up there… but erm, right now what would probably
make me the happiest man alive is probably being able to take care of my
family… to help them out, more so… so they wouldn't have to stress so much
about some other stuff, y'know, er… I probably just wanna call up my mother
one day and tell her, you don't ever have to work again, y'know… or, or,
er, just really take good care of my friends and family.
Next one, let's see, is… this one is from Melissa, from the Philippines.
"What was the most embarrassing moment you had on stage?"
Well, I've had many embarrassing moments on stage, er, I, I don't really
remember any of them though… <**blows out a breath**>… I try to forget
them, actually… that's why I don't remember 'em… but er, probably just er,
falling down… I remember I was, no, oh wait, wait wait wait, it was
embarrassing for me this one time actually, this one time when I was in, in
China, and we had a concert… I was just saying hi to the crowd, and I
swooped my hand over the fence, and there was this wire sticking out, and I
cut my pinky… and it was funny, 'cos I still remember the look on Jerry's
face when I was singing, and I was towards the end [of my song], and all of
a sudden, I looked down… 'cos I felt the sting… and I looked down, and it's
bleeding, and it's just dripping blood, and I was on stage while I was
singing, and I look over and I look at Jerry, and Jerry's lookin' at me,
and I go… <**raises one eyebrow**>… I eyed him, and I go, "Look at my
finger!" and Jerry's face was like, "Oh my gawd!"… and er, that was pretty
embarrassing for me inside, personally… but er, all in all, it was in good
fun, it wasn't really that bad, it didn't need any stitches, so that's
pretty funny, but that, erm yeah, that was it, yeah.
So er, let's bring you another music video now, shall we?

Vanness is the most 'active' one, good attributes is that he is kindhearted, bad attributes is that he is stubborn!
Vanness is the best listener, Zai Zai, Jerry and Ken often go to him to discuss their inner thoughts. He is very kind hearted and cares for friends without being asked to, but while Vanness loves his job, the quality he seeks in his work is not much lower than Jerry. He is very stubborn with his work, and will not rest until he reaches his goal.

Pepsi’s 9 stars did their filming near the Dead Sea.
F4’s Jerry and Ken probably played the toughest roles because the two boys had to hang onto wires in mid air. The day before, the temperature was above 30ºC. Jerry and Ken were hanging 10 feet above the ground. Ken dashed down to cradle the kid in his arms and they then soared up into the sky.
The stars aren't really used to the local food. They only had bananas, tomatoes, cucumbers and sandwiches for lunch. It’s indeed very healthy, but it might not be enough for the guys, Ken, Jay, Aaron and Jerry.
While Ken and Jerry were filming, Vanness, Sammi and others took a break in the tents. However, due to the extremely hot weather, Sammi could stand it no longer, so she came out and asked her assistant to take pictures for her as sovenier. On the other hand, Vanness just took off his shirt, wearing a fishnet top (the first layer of the Pepsi costume - Jess).

Sudden Weekly Issue No. 456 (23.04.2004)
There have been rumors saying that F4 are not in good terms, however, they were getting along extremely well.
Actually, F4 are the most outstanding ones amongst the nine, because only they four of them had fans following them all the way from Hong Kong. Due to that the filming time was changed again and again, the business class seats were all taken, so they had to take economy class seats near the back of the plane. Some fans wanted to get a closer look of them, however the guards refused to let them go any closer. They didn¡¦t even let the other passengers go to the toilet near them and the cabin crew could do nothing about it either.
When they landed in Dubai, the four guys showed their unity. They knew that they¡¦d attract a crowd if they went out together, so they took turns to shop around in the airport so that they won¡¦t be the center of attention.
On the 20th, they filmed in South Theatre. Pepsi didn¡¦t want their looks to be exposed, so they used big sacks to ¡§envelope¡¨ them. They were guided into the theatre by a group of staff. F4 went in two by two. It¡¦s a terrible experience, however, they said it was fun! They were arranged to ¡§fly¡¨ in the sky, so the boys had to hang on wires in mid air. When they were about to ¡§take off¡¨, they checked each other¡¦s gear to make sure that it¡¦s secure and then they were lifted into the air, they held hands to help on another balance. Jerry was a bit nervous and kept screaming. When they landed onto the ground, he always lost balance, so they had to do the scene again and again. But F3 didn¡¦t complain. Instead they gathered together and played games.
Ken always lost, so Zai zai ¡§rewarded¡¨ him by pinching his ear.
Jerry let out a cry when they were in the air. Ken quickly grabbed hold of his arm to calm him. On the other hand, Vanness and Zai zai held hands to balance.

F4 together for 3 hours

F4, who has been rumored to not be on good terms numerous times, regrouped to film a commercial. Reporters chased from Taiwan to HK. The four were together for 3 hours. It was unexpectedly discovered that the opposed isn't really Jerry Yan, like the rumors say, but ZZ Vic Zhou. No wonder ZZ didn't look happy when he got of the plane.
Ever since March of last year, the four has rarely appeared together in public. In order to film a new Pepsi commerical, F4 comes together once again and went to Jordan together. During that time there were also rumors saying that Jerry was excluded by F4. In order to investigate the truth about F4 not getting along, a reporter stuck closely to F4 during the 3 hours from Taiwan to HK.
7pm on April 18th, F4 arrived at Taipei Zhong Zheng Airport and was on flight cx451 to HK. The four talked and laughed the entire trip and appeared to be excited. When they were departing, the four were chatting endlessly and almost forgot to go through the gates. F3 kept on asking Vanness, who wore a thick coat, if he was hot. The result was that Vanness couldn't take it any longer and took the coat off.
When waiting for the plane indoors, the 4 also chatted endlessly. But once the subject continously revolved around ZZ, F3 was very worried about ZZ's academic performance and kept on asking him about his test results. This annoyed ZZ. After going through besieges, this further changed ZZ's expression.
Secret Dialog
Below are the details of F4's conversation:
Jerry: Have you taken final exams yet?
ZZ: Yep
Vanness: Did you pass?
ZZ: I just took it, how would I now already.
Ken: Did you know the answers?
ZZ: OK lah.
Jerry: What does OK mean?
Vanness: How many questions didn't you know the answer to?
ZZ: You guys are so annoying!
Ken: When will the results be out?
ZZ: Help!
Afraid of airplanes, bad mood
When ZZ saw that they could board the plane he didn't have the least bit of smile and got on. When he got to his seat he was expressionless. He sat at the side not speaking. When F3 were eating the airplane meals, ZZ didn't even drink a drop of water. He just closed his eyes the entire journey. It's unknown if he was discontent because he was opposed and besiege by F3.
F4 arrived at the HK airport around 9pm and ZZ was still in a bad mood. Afterwards, F4 was arranged to go to the airport's dining hall. At around 10pm F4 had to take flight ek383. A reporter chased ZZ and asked him if he was worried about the chaos in Jordan. ZZ answered, "No." When he was asked why he was in a bad mood, Ken, who was at the side, laughingly said, "He's like this everytime he boards an airplane."
ZZ has a small fear of flying planes. ZZ was once advised not to take a plane often because there might be accidents. Besides work, ZZ rarely travels. In the past year, because of some air problems, the plane that was originally going to land took off again after 10 sec. At that time the F4 were scared to death, even Vanness was constantly praying.
After this, Zai Zai became very scared of boarding and flying on airplanes. Usually, the night before he will stay up all night so he would be able to sleep once he boards the plane, if he can't sleep, Zai Zai will sit there quietly and F3 will not bother him. When asked about whether Zai Zai is afraid of riding airplanes, he will become very embarressed and reply, "It's all right!"
Said to have problems, feelings haven't changed.
When F4 is said to have problems (when placed together), Jerry's being in Jordan is excluded by F3. F4 has already become used to these sorts of rumours and the usual leader Jerry Yan comments, "From the beginning we never had problems. We may not see each other very much, but our feelings towards each other hasn't changed." Beside him, Vanness also comments, "We are four people with one heart. Sometimes, we separate to work but we aren't actually separated, just like how I was so moved they came to the premiere of my movie in Taiwan."
Ken is no longer angered by these rumours. "It's been written so many times and explained so many times that we've decided just not to be bothered with it." Zai Zai agrees, "I don't bother with it. All that matters is that when we work together, we are happy."
Good Attributes, Bad Attributes
Jerry is F4's leader, the 'da ge', good attributes is that he is serious with his work, but the bad attributes is that he is too much of a perfectionist!
Vanness and Zai Zai really admire Jerry's work ethics, he is always the most punctual, but at the same time, Jerry's need for perfection creates a sort of stress and pressure. Ken gives an example, "Jerry is very serious about his work, a perfectionist. He gives himself too much pressure. The three of us will only continually support and encourage him."

He is very kind hearted and cares for friends without being asked to, but while Vanness loves his job, the quality he seeks in his work is not much lower than Jerry. He is very stubborn with his work, and will not rest until he reaches his goal.
Ken is the caregiver (babysitter) of F4, good attributes is that he is meticulous, bad attributes is his lack of independence.
Jerry believes Ken is more meticulous than a girl. He says, "Whenever I am not feeling well, I don't have to say a word. Ken will notice and immediately bring me some medicine. Zai Zai's daily eating habits are overlooked by Ken, so he often gets to taste his dishes. But Vanness points out his own attributes is the lack of independence, he usually doesn't make many decisions on issues.
Vic (Zai Zai) is the 'happy-go-lucky' one in F4, good attributes is his contagious happiness, bad attributes is that he is lazy!
Zai Zai always cracks cold jokes (lame jokes) to cheer F3 up, whenever F3 is around, Zai Zai becomes very lazy, and doesn't like to talk. Whenever he is asked a question, he would point at the others and say, "Just ask them!" Zai Zai admits he is a lazy person, the best is that he doesn't have to work and someone will even sthingy food into his mouth.
Increasing Fame
F4 rose to fame through Asia from the drama Meteor Garden, Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou, Ken Zhu and Vanness Wu ended up as the red-hot F4 in the entertainment circle. Their first album, Meteor Rain had sold over one hundred thousand copies, and the four became 'Taiwan's Commercial Kings', their income for commercials reach and even surpass ten million Hong Kong Dollars.
Year 2003, F4 separated and advanced solo, after performing the Pepsi Concert in Hong Kong on March 8th of the past year, apart from filming motorcycle and fashion commercials, F4 rarely gathered together. Jerry Yan and Vanness Wu travelled to Hong Kong to film separate movies, both Magic Kitchen and Star Runner's sales were not that great. Vic Zhou and Ken Zhu remained in Taiwan to film dramas and to produce CD albums, since both were a part of the drama 'Love Storm' which had very good T.V. ratings, Vic went ahead to produce his second album, 'Remember I love You' which sold more than five hundred thousand copies in Asia.
In the future, F4 continutes to work solo, with Zai Zai filming Mars, Jerry and Vanness in Hong Kong to film another movie, and Ken is in China doing more filming.

Nine Pepsi stars returned to Hong Kong from Jordan

Yesterday, Nine Pepsi stars, Sammi Cheng, Jay Zhou, and F4, etc,
finished their last day of shooting commercial in Jordan.
The nine stars returned from Jordan to Hong Kong.
The nine stars shot a large-scale chasing scene in a local forest of hoodoo, called Pepra.
Because the story was about a can of Pepsi stolen by a child,
the nine stars had to chase each other and climbed mountains and treaded waters.
A scene of Zaizai flying up the eaves and walking on the walls was extremely thrilling.
The story blended high-tech and science fiction together.
After finishing shooting, the director greatly praised their performances.
After finishing the commercial,
the nine stars took pictures in the magnificent scene as mementos.
They immediately returned to Hong Kong via Thailand by planes.

F4 in Taiwan Airport
Today, F4 took CI696 back to Taiwan from Bangkok
The flight was changed to land at 10.37
At around, 11.20 or 30, they came out from the customs....
The first who walked out was Ken & Xiaozhi
It was as if purposely allowing the 2 of them to come out first to be the Gou Zai(sort of to check out e situation)
There were lots of Xiao Gou Gou(little doggies-refering to reporters)
And they purposely stopped F4 & their crew members from walking
At first, Jerry, Vanness & Zaizai walked out in a row together
Jerry & Zaizai was busy talking to each other, very happy!
There's smiles!
However, once they saw Xiao Gou Gou, they became "blacked face"
When Vanness came out, he even wore his hood
(the jacket he wearing was e same jacket which he wore when he came & leave Hk for e hk flim awards)
Heard that when someone ran over to ask Vanness is he very tired
he also did not answer
However, he kept pointing to the reporter beside

Pepsi commercial has come to an end When filming of the Pepsi commercial has come to an end, the 9 stars finally could relax and started acting in "self-directed shows" and "self-photo-shooting". Body covered with sand,chasing around in the caves, mutton meals everyday..all these scenes are taken down by the best director and camera man Vanness Wu while the best actor goes to Jerry Yan and Ken Chu.
Excluding the flight and transport time, f4 spent 5 days in Dubai filming the commerical. Thinking back, they only had half a day to shop and play but these 4 boys are always as energetic as ever. When they start work everyday, they will carry their big bags around and each of them armed with cameras and DV. Whenever there is free time, Vanness will take out his DV, aim at Ken, Jerry and Zaizai and start filming. His manager also became his best model and every of his move was taken down by the camera.
F4 will grab any opportunities to take photos, shooting themselves using different angles and equipments so as to record down their 7-days adventure. This is because its after half a year sinced they are together, because of their unique working place - a desert, and like what the manager say "they may not have a chance to come here again"
Scenes of f3 playing and chasing each other are taken down by Vanness. Scenes of the group fighting over water, Ken dozing off are taken by Zaizai. The sunset as well as the caves are scenes which the 4 of them love the most and during everyday's sun rise and sun set, they will position at their best angles and shoot themselves happily. However, sun set in Dubai is at 8pm, 3 hours later than Taiwan, and they have to wait patiently.
The four of them could not adapt to the food in Dubai as they have to eat mutton and "pao-ping" daily, it had a strange smell and they couldn't get use to it at all. However during this trip, Jay and Jolin were the focus of the media, and f4 was finally given a break and they played all the way as they may not have a chance to go abroad together in the near future.

Xiaozhi talks about F4's recent jobs & interesting stuffs1. Jerry would be discussing with a Director on a new movie
2. His album have only finished recording 6,7 songs.
3. Won't be fliming Tv series, if he flims, they would choose the female lead very strictly.

Her nicknamed was Cai Zhi Ping's secret weapon, 24 years old, Wendy Wu, who's back in Taiwan from LA. Her first step to get into the entertainment circle was to go for the challenge of ICRT DJ. Wendy's brother is F4 member Vanness Wu. Regarding sister stepping into the radio world, he told her " Work Hard" very confidently in her.

Can F4 maintain their popularity?
Pepsi gathered their 9 stars and filmed a new commercial in Jordan. Among them is the group F4, who are popular across Southeast Asia. F4 really are popular all over Southeast Asia. In comparison, the fans in HK is considered diminutive. The release of ¡°Meteor Garden¡± helps F4 to fame. Taiwan¡¯s method of a group of handsome guys proved to be successful. But looking from another point of view, the four¡¯s development has had some set backs lately.
Singing skills not the best
Honesty speaking, you can really say that F4¡¯s looks are unprecedented. However, it¡¯s a shame that their performing skills truly are inadequate. There has been criticism directed at the four saying that they needed other people to sing for them when they were recording their album and that advanced recording technology was needed.
F4¡¯s spokesperson also thereupon criticized back saying that there are many artists that do this.
Of course the author understands this point. But hearing F4¡¯s songs, how their singing skills are is evident. The four also perform separately, like movies. It can only be said that their performance is not as strong as people expected.
¡°Meteor Garden 1¡± was a sensation, but ¡°Meteor Garden 2¡± couldn¡¯t compare to the first. However, this group really has had some rarely seen successes. F4 has taken the first step to success. They have had more success compared to other groups in HK and Taiwan. Currently, they are facing the challenges of the next step.

They are Pepsi's Asian gladiators
EAT dust, Britney, Pink and Beyonce.
Pepsi's Asian commercial has nine superstars, fancy gongfu moves and special effects galore that will knock the breast plates of fthe three women.
The group of nice Aaron Kwok, Sammi Cheng, Edison Chen, Jay Chou, Jolin Tsai and F4 were in Amman in Jordan last week to film a similar gladiator-style commercial to the tune of HK$100 million ($21.8m).
Sammi last to arrive
Diva Sammi was the last to arrive. After flying nine hours and going through Bangkok, she touched down in Amman at 7am, only to drop her bags at the hotel and head for the ancient city of Jerash by 8am for the shoot.
According to Hong Kong magazine Sudden Weekly, Sammi is taking this assignment seriously as Pepsi, which used to favour Faye Wong, has now placed the bulk of its publicity on Sammi's skinny shoulders.
And it's something she relished, considering her less-than-sterling performance last year.
Jay and Jolin get cosy
Rumoured love birds Jay Chou and Jolin Tsai, also seemed to have scored a good deal out of this commercial they got to spend some private time away from prying eyes.
Or so they thought.
According to an F4 fan who was on the same flight as some of the stars, Jolin and Jay displayed some lovey-dovey behaviour on the plane.
At one point, she was even seen wearing his jacket and taking a nap on his shoulder.
Jolin and Edison hit it off
While it was reported that the two female stars had nothing much to say to each other on the set, Jolin did hit it off with another Hong Konger closer in age.
She shared plenty of scenes and jokes with Edison, much to the suspicion of Jay, who reportedly stole many glances and even took many walks their way.
F4 boys are pally
Meanwhile, F4 who were the only ones with cross-continent trailing fans had to suffer economy class on their way to Jordan because the business class was full.
But fans had nothing much to cheer about because even with the boys sitting at the back of the economy class cabin, security was extremely tight and no-one was allowed to go anywhere near the rear.
And it seems far from the rumours that the boys don't’t get along, they were actually very pally on set, often helping each other adjust their costumes and playing games.

Fans of Taiwanese boyband F4 know that very rarely can they catch Jerry
Yan, Ken Zhu, Vic Zhou and Vanness Wu together in one place.
When news about their closely guarded secret assignment to shoot a Pepsi
commercial in Amman, Jordan, leaked out recently, some of F4's diehard
followers hurriedly booked themselves on a flight to the exotic Middle East
distination, even blocking off the business-class section so that the super
celebrities had no choice but to settle for seats in the economy class.
Actually, there were five other entertainment world hotshots from both
sides of the Taiwan Strait in the commercial. They were Aaron Kwok, Cheng
Hsiu-wen, Chou Chieh-lun, Tsai I-lin and Chen Kuan-hsi, all much idolized in
the Chinese-speaking world.
But F4, as provided for in the script of this most ambitious Pepsi
project, stole the thunder from everyone. They did a lot of fight scenes in
the desert. Just like the stars in Ang Lee's "Crouching Tiger, Hidden
Dragon," they even had hang on wires in order to simulate the high-flying
and cliff-scaling stunts of martial arts heroes.
In fact, when the four first emerged in their ancient warriors'
costumes, they had a good laugh at themselves. They gave onlookers an
amusing picture of straightforward and carefree boys ready for the
cliffhanger commercial.
Jerry Yan expressed satisfaction with his "deadly" look. Ken Zhu
remarked that his period costume struck him as "cool". Vic Zhou said he
appeared "more cool" than Jerry Yan in his character outfit, "more handsome"
than Ken Chu and "more suitably and comfortably dressed for the fight scene"
than Vanness Wu.
While shooting the commercial, which was about the fight for a treasure
at a historical desert site, the stars had a battalion of 100 Jordanian
soldiers acting as bodyguards.
Fans and the press had to be kept at a distance. But some still managed
to steal shots of Vic Zhou rock-climbing at a steep height of about seven
stories along narrow gorge.
It took the boys at least two hours to dress up inside their respective
tents. Some 30 accessories ahd to be put on to complete each look, created
by Yu Chia-an. Hairpieces were added to make them appear like real comic
book heroes. In fact, their makeup artists brought along a pile of comic
books for use as references.
Jerry Yan and Vic Zhou were reportedly paid eight-digit sums in New
Taiwan dollars for doing this Pepsi commercial. Ken Zhu and Vanness Wu
received marginally lower amounts.
The members of F4 thought they could enjoy sights while in Jordan. But
screams of recognition at every turn forced them to retire to their hotel
rooms most of the time. While in transit in Dubai, they wanted to go
shopping. But as soon as they tried to do this, they encountered fans in
hot pursuit. As a result, they had no choice but to retreat

Thailand's Tata Young will be attending Golden Melody Awards, organisers had quite a hard time deciding on her "male partner". At the moment, it is confirmed that Luo Zhi Xiang will present Best Group award with her. But Vanness Wu, who's in the same record company with Tata Young, has not confirmed if he'll be walking the red carpet with her, so she may have to walk alone on the red carpet on that day.

Vanness Wu's mother owns a salon in Los Angeles, USA and she currently has a steady relationship with a illustrious guy. Regarding his mother in a relationship, Vanness handles it in a respecting manner. Seeing his mother happy because of love makes him happy too.

GOLDEN MELODY AWARDS UPDATES:Red Carpet:Vivian was one of the first people to arrive
Karen Mok had no escort
Jolin Tsai was escorted by Allan Luo
Jay Chou arrived with kids (not sure)
Gigi Leung was escorted by Ken (in the red carpet interview, Ken was making fun of Gigi's height because she was taller than Ken in heels)
Tata Young arrived with Vanness (interview: the hosts asked Tata of what she thinks of Vanness. She said that Van is nice and cool. They laughed because they wore the same color of clothes which is gray.)
Johnny, Brownie and a female mtv mandarin vj (the same girl who interviewed machi and stephanie sun in the MAA Red Carpet) hosted the GMA Red Carpet Special

Awards Night:Again, Ms. Tao Zi hosted the show
First performance was by S.H.E
One of the first presentors was Vivian Hsu
In the Best Group category, none of S.H.E, Energy nor Tension won. But the nominees all went up the stage to share the award with winner, Brandy's group. (Vanness was shown clapping with Brownie)
-as posted above- Karen Mok performed, with a guy, Anita Mui hits. They sang and danced "Funky". Karen was really sexy wearing a sleeveless tee and super mini shorts.
Boa (korean pop star) performed
Asia #1: Composed of Siti Nurhaliza, Tata Young and Wang Lee hom... Siti sang "Shing Fu" (the one Ken sang in Jakarta Fantasy concert). Tata Young sang her song "Cinderella" and Wang Lee Hom played the piano and sang "Love". After the three performances, Lee Hom and Siti sang "Moon Represents My Heart" with everyone singing along with them.
Allan Luo and Tata Young presented an award together. It was funny because Allan was asking Tata to speak Chinese tongue twisters (I guess). Tata did it but then on, she just spoke in English.
Gigi and Ken Zhu walked down the stage, still holding hands. They were kinda sweet onstage. Ken was wearing all white with white hair streaks.
Vanness presented an award with Boa. He spoke some Korean words. He said sorry to the audience for talking too much. Hehe!
Lee Hom got the Producer of the Year Award
Jay Chou got the Best Album of the Year Award
Jay also arrived with Fang Wen Shan and his newly-trained boyband name was not clear.. hehehe...

F4 & Zhang Fei comforts S.H.E
S.H.E didn't get the GMA award, the feeling was different from the past. At
backstage, they had little words to say than before. At this time, Fei Ge who
was from Zhong Yi Da Ge Da gave a pat on Ella, as to showing her it was another
way of saying they have won. And Vanness Wu & Ken Chu who was chatting beside,
realised that the 3 girls's feeling. Fliming Say Yes Enterprise's Vanness Wu, of
course Hebe had things to say. Vanness laughed and said, " You all are great!
Compared, we F4 is far away! Don't be sad !" And Ken automatically started
playing around with them ! Selina said, " Next year, hope that we'll be
nominated together with you guys." Ella shouted, " But, we'll get the prize."
