hey guys ,wanna hear something cool? today in my lit & film studies class, we showed the movie we did our paper on. i did mine on the opening sequel of dragon squad. i was quite hesistant to present it at frist because not much people have tolerance for subtitled movies (why you think not much foreign movies are shown here, unless it's jet li or zhang ziyi?). so i went last and i jsut told them to bear with me. so when i popped up the dvd, one guy actually recognised the film and said isn't that dragon squad? i said yeah and i was surprised he knew, because he's africanamerican no where being asian (i later asked him how he learned about it and he said a friend told him it was good and bought it when they saw it at a dvd place in greenbelt, which is near university of maryland). so i showed the opening sequence and i dunno if they were just being polite but some were really curious about the film and started asking me questions about the characters. one guy, who's a bit of a film critic, actually wanted to know what happened next after the oening sequence and borrowed the dvd from me. i dunno yet if he liked the movie though.

which is real cool. they enjoyed watching it, even if the first ten minutes of the film was already blood and gore.

Oh My Vanness..that's effin hot! I think he's not collapsing..it is just with his 6 packs and I don't think Van will let himself drown with too much fatigue or too much work out that might lead his body to collapse. I think he knows what is good for his body and he knows what he is doing. He knows if it is enough... And besides, for sure he has a lot of people around him to advice him of whatever's happening. Album: Vivi And...

Artiste: Vivian Hsu, 31
Musical style: Varied, from hip-hop to pop, rock and ballads.
Freebies: Six picture cards featuring a sultry, vampish Vivian.
DIY: She pens the lyrics to seven songs, chronicling her feelings about love and life.
Jay Chou trump card: The sad love song Mermaid, inspired by Vivian's movie Shoe Fairy, in which she plays a wheelchair-bound girl with a shoe fetish.

Vivian wrote the lyrics about waiting for love. She and Jay are friends and were once rumoured to be lovers. She has penned several songs for him that became hits such as Cute Woman and Tornado.

Other celeb helpers: Interestingly, an all-male team including Nicky Lee, who rapped with her on the hip-hop tune So So, Gary Cao, who composed and co-sang the love song I Still Believe and Wang Lee Hom, who composed the ballad Because Of You.

Scandal magnet: Some members of the media are still hung up over Vivian's break-up with F4's Vanness Wu a year ago, but the babe herself has moved on.

Pictures of her partying with Gary at a gay pub in Taipei were the talk of the town recently.

He seemed quite smitten - to the point of joking that he would quit showbiz when told that Vivian has sworn off dating celebrities.

As for Vanness, Vivian claimed they are 'still friends'.

But she betrayed a hint of disdain when she revealed on a variety show that after a break-up, what she finds insufferable is an ex-beau denying their relationship.

Jay Chou.

Apparently, Vanness did just that recently when he claimed that his last three girlfriends were not from the showbiz circle.

But when asked if she was referring to Vanness, Vivian played coy and joked: 'I've never admitted to dating him.'

On the chart: Debuted at No 3 on Taiwan's G-Music chart mid last month, with 5.4 per cent sales.

Many stars including Vanness, DaS, XiaoS, Vivan etc all atteneded the "2006 Elle Style Awards." Broken up couple Vivian and Vanness appeared at the same event, but no words were exchanged. Vanness even sat at Patty's table, ignoring Vivian the entire night.

Last year Vivian admitted that the 2 have broken up, but Vanness only said: "Respect her decision." Ever since breaking up, it is their first time being at a event together, and the two avioded talking about each other. Vivian talked about her foot injury during dancing and her fake hair, which gives off a cute doll feeling. To aviod any awkwardness between the 2, "Elle" arranged for the 2 to be seated at different tables.

When asked for how long he hasnt seen Vivian, he only breifly answered: "I was out of the country earlier for work, so we havent contacted each other for a while. Her new CD is good though, i like it."

Yeah I like this darker side of vanness. it looks really nice.

Vanness appeared in Jay-Z concert in Taipei last Saturday. He dressed up in hip hop style, wearing sun-glasses and black woolen hat.
