At last we got a chance to see him performing live to 'Flower'
His current hairstyle is definitely growing on me now. I'm so happy to see some slight curls back on him again instead of just plain straight ones. Can u imagine if either one of us was there and has the opportunity to get an upclose encounter with him... awww *faints*
Adore the parts he replied hai and smiled so endearingly in Video 2 (min. 3:53 & 4:26). Another classic smile from him at min. 1:01 in Video 3 ~ when he looked at the lady host and she said kawaiii. Luv SDY's expressions when he saw his name appeared on her sweater
How we wish we could understand the whole talkshow. Anyway, a big

Everyone has their own opinion and taste, so don’t act like yours is the only one that matters. We all have our favorites. By coming into this thread to praise your idol and putting down another isn’t nice. Since you love your idol, you must understand how others feel about their idol too.
Mingdao 20/Elle is the creator of the Seo Do Young‘s thread. She knows what she wants and what she should do. Just enjoy what you are doing for your idol and let other people follow their heart, do whatever makes them happy.

I just got the Japanese Magazine that promoted the drama Spring Waltz .It is a nice magazine with thick glossy paper. When I ordered this magazine I thought only a few pages of SDY’s pictures would be in it but to my surprised, the whole magazine contained many pictures of SDY and all about Spring Waltz only, that made me so happy.
Here is Spring Waltz’s novel book - Japanese version. Don’t ask me why I bought it even I don’t understand a word of Japanese. hehehe , I just love to collecting of everythings relate to Seo Do Young ‘s products.

hello elle.. thanks for your concern.. yup. been very busy lately with my new work.. heheh.. got to impress my superiors... anyway, re mncast, initial load is really very slow but once the full video is loaded and you play it again, the videos shown is already ok. re megaupload, really? it prompts you to click the ads. so far, i haven't encountered that when i uploaded some vids.. well, it's ok.. you can use SS or FS. i got no problem downloading from those hosts.. thanks in advance.. really appreciate it..

Yup, i totally agree with you about SH/JH being the one who had to endure the most pain. His past 15 lonely yrs staying with the selfish couple, who only treated him as their JH, and no real love for the person as who he is. Even though SH only agreed with the 'deal' to save the young EY in the very first place, but werent they touched by SH's gesture? Imagine the pressure of living up to their high expectations
Suffering from guilt of not keeping his promise to stay with EY and worst still, when he was lied by the 
'dad' about EY's condition! Suppressing his feelings to himself all this while Ergggghhhh, darn the couple & the biological father for making SH's life so miserable But thank gudness, SH could confide his real feelings through his music, at least Also, there's his best buddy Phillip, too Oh, can u imagine how SH would react when he knew that his biological father had once tried to 'sell' EY to the motel place?
First, having to deal with the fact of what his 'dad' did, and now, his own father Bravo to SDY's superb acting during the emotional & crying scenes

Eun young can't believe the fact that she has discovered that Jae Ha is Soo Ho with her very own eyes and Philip tries to comfort Eun Young but Philip is equally disturbed. Eun Young requests Philip not to reveal that she knows Jae Ha is actually Soo Ho. Jong Tae [Soo Ho's real father] goes to the hotel to meet Soo Ho. With this scene, one can sense the impending sense of danger.
Jae Ha believes that it's because of Lee Na that Eun Young has not showed up at the office. But when Eun Young shows up at Jae Ha's practice room, he explains the misunderstanding that took place with Lee Na and Eun Young seems to accept it and from this, he finds the confidence to tell her the truth but...
Episode 18
Eun Young and Philip travel to An Dong and meets his grandfather and grandmother to trace his mother. Meanwhile, Jae Ha waits in Seoul for Eun Young to return. While Jae Ha and Philip are drinking [alcohol], Philip asks Jae Ha why he abandoned Eun Young and left her and why he quit being Soo Ho and lived as Jae Ha...

I think my family and I are probably the only people on the East Coast of the US watching Emperor of the Sea right now. The AZN network has been airing it twice a day and we're hooked. We picked it up on Episode 22 or so, and it's now on episode 36. We're huge fans of these particular actors and the subject matter! ESPECIALLY THE GUY WHO PLAYS JUNG-HWA'S ESCORT WARRIOR - SUH DO YOUNG!
Since we missed so many episodes early on we'd like to purchase the DVD, but YesAsia.com is out of Volume 1 so we're looking at AsianDB.com. Can anyone tell me the difference between the Korean and HongKong/Chinese versions of the DVD? Obvious differences are: English subtitle quality, 2nd subtitle language, price, and number of discs. Which version is AZN playing? Any suggestions for which version to buy? Any suggestions for other websites to look at or other Korean dramas that we might like? Clearly I'm going to have to watch Spring Waltz....

Regarding EotS DVDs, perhaps Greyhavens or Wendylan would be able to assist u. From what I gathered, most K-versions released by Bitwin are of good quality and the English subs are good, too. As for HK/China versions that I had encountered so far, there'd be some grammatical/typo errors found in the Eng subs

I'm currently watching Spring Waltz and going on to episode 5 already. SDY is one good looking pianist and very tall too. I like the way he's portraying his not much smiling character. Maybe the following episodes the lead girl would make him smile. So far I'm liking the story.

Hello Aracella welcome to SDY's thread.I got Emperor of The Sea and finised watching it, Mine is Hongkong version,only two volumes,19 disks but still 51 episodes,very clear picture.I have to say that this drama has a good English Subtiled,so don't worry about Hongkong or Korean version. I liked background music and the support actor Song Il Gook.
Talking about website Asiandb and yesasia.I prefer Yesasia.com,It is more reliable and faster while Asiandb took me almost three months to waiting for my order arrive - drama dvd Spring Waltz,cd Spring Walttz OST and Spring Waltz Classical ost.I was mad at that time.

A really sweet & natural pose of SDY~HHJ -- oh boy, the way their hands were held It'd be PERFECT for our SW lovebirds to carry out a modelling shoot together, particularly a wedding series! 
That few minutes of their wedding scene in the last epi of SW were certainly not enough! hehee... Oh btw, PD Yoon also appeared on the left of DY in the original photo above. Thousand apologies for omitting Mr. Yoon's part from the scan

I got my SW pictorial collections from Kino at approximately M'sian Ringgit 60-70 per book. I agree with Wendylan that the magazines are worth to purchase as collections The photos which I like most are those taken during the behind the scenes, etc. Only one thing though, some large ones are spreaded across two pages. I'd prefer them to be printed on an individual page instead. Hmm..

Just finished watching Spring Waltz last week. The dvd I bought… the English subtitle was not that good but I just have to bear with it than to not having any translation at all.
um, at first I thought the Phillip guy was the lead character... but when Jae-ha and Eun-young bumped each other/first meeting at the train station and the accidental... was it a red paint thingy... got me thinking... Jae-ha (SDY)'s got to be the lead. Actually, that train scene... I kinda noticed a good chemistry between the two lead characters which got me interested to keep on watching/curious as to what will happen between the two. [*btw, I have no idea what this drama is all about/who the actors... it was recommended to me by a lady selling series/movie dvds... and it took me almost a month to finally have the time to watch it... well, this is my 3rd K-drama that I already watched... the first one was My Girl which I really enjoyed watching to the end... the second one was kinda not had gotten much interest for me to continue watching so after a few episodes I stopped. And the third one… the recommended Spring Waltz... finished it to the end… so yep, for me SW's a good series and has one nice, happy ending*].
SDY's character is really serious in the beginning but once those smiles started to show up... wow! you just wanna keep on staring at him. Even when he's looking serious or angry... you still wanna stare at him. And when he cries, he has that effect that makes me shed tears too (I think, I had more tears in my eyes during his scenes than those scenes of the lead girl).
I enjoyed those scenes of Jae-ha with his little brother (does SDY have a brother or sister). I also like their chemistry and I think he's good with kids... very natural (reminds me of that last episode and scene where he plays the piano with those school children). And he has a good sounding voice... Korean and speaks some Austrian language in the series... couldn't remember if he spoke anything in English. I love that part when he showed the ticket with his name to Eun-young and said, "Chris". He's got a very expressive eyes and gorgeously beautiful smile. It's good that they got SDY for Jae-ha's part. Perfect for him! I think he portrayed his character well... he's like a real pianist.
Really hoping he'll do another series or a movie. He's a good actor. All the best for SDY.

, I just found out the translated 'Guardian Angel' is for Track No. 14 수호천사 (soo ho chun sa) by S.Jin! So, this song is meant for Su Ho then? Aiassshh, it completely slipped my mind 
~ during the flashback scene of young Eun Young & Su Ho at the hospital in Ep. 5, young EY said Su Ho & guardian has the same meaning and practically, SH is her Guardian Angel Merrymeeh... apart from German, Jae Ha also spoke some brief sentences in English. Like in Ep. 4 (when he introduced Lee Na as his closest childhood friend to his party guests) and Ep. 7 (when JH called Phillip's mobile phone to apologise and said Phillip is his best friend ~ unbeknownst to JH that it was EY listening at the other end of the line).
Ohhh, I luv every moment of JH & his little brother, Kang Goo!
