Later, when I watched Ep. 17 of Spring Waltz --- OMgudnessss, I cried my heart out completely! The whole episode was a tearjerker with SH/JH going through endless pain I believe SDY can be the next KSW when it comes to crying scenes There's a beautiful & touching scene of EY playing 'Clementine' on the piano, SH walked in.. stood at her back, bent down & wrapped his arms on both her sides (with his face so close to hers) and continued playing the song Towards the end of episode, EY heard SH calling her name repeatedly in his dream, with tears rolling down his cheek... goshh, that moment was heartwrenching The minute JH woke up & saw her, he hugged her and said saranghae... Awww my, I wonder if he's going to kiss her after that Let's hope there would be something to cheer us up in tomorrow's episode *sighs*

[spoiler]PS: I've yet to watch the current episodes of AQMFS Had a quick round reading some comments in the thread tho. But i'm lost --- does XB luv EQ, or just treat him like close friend? when i saw the first episode...i thought the guy in the airport (Philip) was da main character and i was lyk "he looks pretty cute" then later on i figured it wasnt him and they showed Suh Do Young in the piano and i was lyk waiting for them to show his face and i was lyk "man, he better be cute" and then they finally showed it and i was lyk "damn! he's fine"
i was lyk smiling lyk an idiot i swaer...he looks so hot and i was so thrilled to watch the drama...im currently on episode 2 ryt now cuz i couldnt find direct links to the drama cuz i cant dl from torrent....but ill watch it somehow

oh my, i haven't been here for awhile although sometimes my internet gives up on me. I'm only in episode 10 of Spring Waltz...lol. I have to wait for subs to get to actually understand...poor me. nvm i'll just tell u girls the male stars i'm like having crushes on at the moment , & well they are all korean cus i'm most attracted to them haha , maybe they aren't like the most gdlooking in the world , but i think korean guys are charismatic , it's like onscreen , they just make u haf to love them ~

well i used to like the goong boys , kim jung hoon 1st , then i "dumped" him & i liked joo ji hoon instead but i guess after a while , it just faded heh . i used to be crazy over song seung hoon too in autumn & popcorn & i used to think ahn jae wook is cool heh , he was in a lot of the 1st few korean dramas i watched back then .

Yeah, SDY looks so cutie in all the gifs I think the 3rd gif is from Drama City: 'Oh Sarah' (2005). Have not watched it yet - still half way downloading Hmm.. dont think there's English sub available for this short drama. Anyway, just want to see how's his acting in it. Hopefully, it's an enjoyable one!

As for the 4th gif, i wonder what did he laugh about! If smile could kill, his definitely does!

I really luv the part JH moved to sit at the back of EY while she was driving!!! Oh boy, his kiddo expressions are priceless The way he reminded her of their 'exciting' scooter ride was so sweet Gudness, I cant believe he teased her about her 'rough' waistline Jae Ha can be so 'mean' & cheeky towards EY at times! But I luv this cute & humourous side of him



Aochan... how I wish I only started watching this romantic drama. At least, there would be MORE new episodes awaiting for me Already up to Ep. 17... only 3 episodes left for me to savour SDY's charms as Jae Ha/Su Ho... certainly dont want to say goodbye to Spring Waltz & its wonderful casts (SDY, DH, HHJ and of course, JH's half bro Kang Gu) so soon

Shirley 妹妹 & Syah... too much buffering in tonite's episode Okie, i'm going to leave out the details -- just a very brief summary of what happened in Ep. 18...

~ Aiasssh, no kissing after the hug! What a disappointment

~ EY accompanied Phillip to Andong -- saw his grandpa but he was still mad at Phillip and refused to 'accept' him. Later, they met up with the grandma (i think) and at long last, Phillip got the opportunity to pay a visit to his mom's grave

~ JH had a drink with Phillip -- Phillip asked him why he left the young EY at the hospital last time. JH told him everything about what happened.

~ EY saw her hand-made gift and was touched to know that JH has been keeping it with him all along. They sort of 'temporarily' reconciled but EY still couldnt forgive him completely when she thought of her mom and so on.

~ The LN was up to her #@&% trick again by making a press release regarding HER wedding (well, did I just specify it's her wedding and not their wedding? ) OMG, this lady is so thick-skinned If I were Su Ho, I'll tell her flat on the face AGAIN & AGAIN --- 'You want to get married to Jae Ha, then by all means, go ahead & find your real JH!! I'm Lee Su Ho, the one & only person in this world whom I'll marry is Eun Young! Get the point??!!!'

~ Episode ended with a cliffhanger (as expected ) -- Phillip was heartbroken to see the sad EY and decided to reveal the whole truth to her... Earlier I was frustrated why JH could tell Phillip but couldnt do so with EY. Now I know why the PD dragged the matter till the end of Ep. 18 *sighs*

When Phillip asked JH in Ep. 17, I wish JH could have been honest with him about the past. At least, Phillip would not assume SH was hurting EY too much and doesnt deserve to love her as Lee SH. I dont like the PD's idea of creating moments for Phillip & EY. 'Cuz in a way, it's not fair to Phillip's character... lifting his hope again for being there for EY, but in the end, got to accept the fact of getting no love in return from EY all over again... Poor Phillip

[spoiler]Andong... the place reminds me of 'Sweet 18'! hehehee... It's really a sweet drama indeed Remember the funny scene of HHJ pinching the cheeks of the young 'uncle'? Ahhh, I like the old actor who portrayed the role as the grandpa Whereas the grandpa in 'My Girl'... hmm, dont have much feel for him [/spoiler]

Seeing the two gorgeous hunks laughing in the pix, reminds me of the following part of Daniel Henney's Spring Waltz message:

... The 3 other main actors in this drama make everything so easy. 한효주 (Han Hyo Joo) has a fantastic presence on screen, and has really "become" her character. While shooting together we've shared so many laughs. Our strange "konglish" language is always making us laugh at one another, and sometimes just the way she pronounces words like "xylophone" and "crystal design"are hilarious. I've had a wonderful time working with her, and also learning from her. 서도영 (Suh Do Young) was someone that I had met previously to shooting Spring Waltz. He's a wonderful talent, and is really tackling this difficult role very well. We have a lot of German lines together. Since neither one of us know what we're actually saying, those lines are always filled with laughter!! 이소연 (Lee So Yun), is a wonderful actress. She has a wonderful control over the role in which she's been given. She has many english lines in the drama, and I've spent hours helping her with that. Preview Episode 19

After Philip tells Eun Young why Soo Ho had no choice but to become Jae Ha, she steps up efforts to find Jae Ha who seems to have vanished.

In the meantime, Hee Jin [Lee Na's journalist friend] worries about whether to print the story of Jae Ha's secret or not.

When Lee Na sees that Jae Ha is not present, she goes to Philip and demands to know of his whereabouts. Lee Na doesn't want to let Jae Ha go despite the fact that Philip tells Lee Na the reason why Soo Ho became Jae Ha.

After some time, Eun Young and Jae Ha finally meet and spend a happy time together. In the meantime, there is a newspaper article regarding Lee Soo Ho's possible abduction...

Upon their return to Seoul, Eun Young and Jae are dismayed at the tempest caused by the newspaper article. Facing an interview in front of reporters, Jae Ha is torn between revealing his true identity as Lee So Ho or continuing to lie that he is Yoon Jae Ha...

Goshh, seems so many things to resolve in the last 2 episodes Needless to say, all of us want to see more lovey scenes of JH~EY!!! Let's pray hard that the PD will give us a satisfactory ending A MEANINGFUL ending and not just the 'usual stuff' (u gals get what i mean, rite? *sighs*)...

Have just finished seeing ep 17 & 18 ....... OMG ....... SDY can really cry !!!! Yunno watching these tear-jerkers can dampen my spirits ........ feeling so much pain for SH/JH. SH/JH has already endured so much pain for the last 15 years, and yet the 'adoptive parents' still are so selfish, only thinking of their reputation at stake if the truth is revealed, pressing him to wed LN, saying that's best for him and to protect him. What a sham! Bullshit excuse! Ohhhh ................ I feel like strangling SH/JH's adoptive mum!

Thanks for the summary on ep 19 & 20 ....... just keeping my fingers crossed that everything will end well for SH/JH and EY. Hopefully Philip too will meet another sweet gal like EY. Remember the Taiwanese Drama [La Robe ......] where the scriptwriter had included the scene of Ming Dao meeting Angela Zhang at the airport.

Anyway, I've just finished watching it without subs... oh gudness me , if not for SDY, I wouldnt want to watch it at all And even if I were to watch it again with subs, I doubt I could understand the story plot At the beginning, it showed SDY & 3 other guys were caught by the bad guys... then flashbacks of how the guys met up & what not

However, it's interesting to see SDY portraying a comical role, and sort of a playboy too

Yunno, I was hoping for a tantalizing kissing scene between EY and SH/JH when he woke up from his bad dreams, hugging her .......

Yes ...... I have seen taiwanese drama [天国的嫁衣]. Though not really liking the drama, but was attracted to the two male leads, Leon Jay Williams and Ming Dao. However I like Leon Jay Williams better. Actually never bother much about Taiwanese dramas as often I find these dramas rather draggy. Only upon seeing [Lavender - 熏衣草] that had me bowed over by the male lead, Ambrose Xu Shao Yang and the female lead, Tammy Chen Yi-Rong. Ever heard of Ambrose Xu? Somehow I have a craze for Taiwanese artistes who can't speak well in Chinese, like Ambrose Xu and Leon Jay Williams. Kinda like the american accent when they speak in Chinese.

As for Korean dramas which I began following after seeing An Jae Wok's Goodbye My Love, followed by Jang Dong Gun's All About Eve. Jang Dong Gun was my favourite Korean hunk, but now I am 'charmed' by Seo Do Yeong. I know a lot of people like Bae Yun Jun, but frankly I find him too sissy for my taste.

Any interesting K-dramas that you can recommend me? I have recently seen Full House, Only You, MNIKSS, Green Rose, Save The Last Dance ....... and I love Save The Last Dance best.

Elle I will definitely watch ep. 10 now, it's the weekend and I have time, yay for me!!! SDY looks totally dreamy hahaha in the caps you took...no one could pull off that shirt except him, it's totally disco too! You're awesome sharing the segments with SDY on it. Thank You!

Now that I've mentioned LDW and MG to you, I suddenly feel like rewatching it over again hahaha for the nth time. I also watched Hanoi Bride with him in it, but I think the short hair in MG totally suits him better.

Auyong I'm currently watching Save the Last Dance, at first I was so confused but OMG it is such a great drama, it's up there with my faves along with MG, I can't wait to finish it.

auyong... oh yesss, I cant agree with you MORE that the PD SHOULD create more kissy scenes (not just sweet, but steamy ones ) for the adorable Spring couple! For instance, during these moments in Eps. 11, 12, 18:

~ Ep. 12 - at the lake when JH declared his love for EY (ooo this got to be 'steamy', yeah?)
~ Ep. 18 - after the hug (yeah, u r rite -- a 'tantalising' kiss would be perfect! )[/spoiler]

But from the summary previews of Ep. 19 & 20, I really cant put my mind at ease worrying the PD might wrap up everything in a rush and there wont be enough sizzling moments of JH~EY

Recommendation on K-dramas... hmm, let me see... 'My Girl' & 'Goong' are definitely a must-watch!!! Have you watched the classic ones like 'Stairway to Heaven' and 'Sweet 18'?

As for me... I wish to see him portraying another cold-hearted character (and a bit of a playboyish personality would be cool ). Anyhoo...LOL..YES! I love Yeon Jung Hoon too! He went to school near my hometown a few years back! Pasadena Art Center...one of the most prestigious art schools on the West Coast! Completely explains his fluency in English right?!

I haven't watched the recent episodes yet....I'm been controlling myself so when 19 and 20 come out, I'll watch it all in one go! My fingers are crossed for a happy ending!

Well..as of last weekend's episode of AQMFS, both Ya Si and Er Qi are in love with Xiao Bei. Xiao Bei's feelings are ambiguous at this point....I'm feeling as if she's in love with BOTH guys. Shao Wei's Er Qi is so sweet! We've got a while to go since AQMFS won't be done showing until the last week of June!

Hehe...I've actually strayed from Asian dramas this last week and focused back on American television! Have any of you guys seen Gilmore Girls? It's a super popular teen comedy/drama in the States. I totally missed Season's 5 and 6 so I spent most of this week catching up on it! OMI FREAKING GOD...SOOO GOOD!!

Like wat Han HyoJoo said in a recent interview , tis 2 are the "perfect couple" in Spring Waltz ~


Forbidden Love's 1 of my fave dramas for various reasons hehe , it's kinda different frm many Korean dramas ~ but I'm not liking Jo HyunJae's fashion sense in there , his clothes always look as if it's covered wif perspiration haha esp since he's always training or fighting in there ~ I love his hair here but his hair in Love Letter is still the best .

I haven't really watched all of Seo Dong Yoh but his acting does move pple in there + lol the drama name always reminds me of Suh DoYoung too ! ~

As for Stained Glass , hmmm , it's not 1 of my faves actually .

Elle ~~~~~ yeah I have seen tear-jerker "Stairway to Heaven" which had me swooning over Kwan Sang Won. Okay I will try to get hold of MG and Goong, but the artistes are pretty new, rite? Yep .... thanks for the video clip segments on "Oh Sarah" ...... neither do I understand what's the plot about, but it was nice to see another side of SDY, a comical and playful role.

Michelle & Elle ~~~~~ don't you agree Eugene and the male lead made a charismatic couple in the drama "Save The Last Dance". I love the ending ....... it was real touching!!!

Syah ~~~~~ I have also seen "Only You' but sonehow Jo Hyun Jae (to me) lacks that unique trait that had me swooning over him. Unlike Seo Do Yeong, I was attracted to his aloofness in the very 1st episode of Spring Waltz, and further smittened when he revealed a cheerful and mischievous side, especially in the episode when he helped the old man gather the hens and put them into the cage.

Elle and Auyong ooh I'm going to get to ep. 11 of Save the Last Dance, I agree the characters that play Eun-Soo (Yoo-Jin) and Hyun Woo (Ji Seong) have great chemistry, i'm so all for this drama, it will rank up there with My Girl and Spring Waltz!

Subs for episode 11 and 12 are up, that's what my friend said, ooh I'm going to have so much fun this couple of days watchign my favourite dramas.

Hmm... if only his current project is a drama and not a movie... then, at least something to enlighten us while having withdrawal symptoms of SDY~HHJ & 'Spring Waltz'

Goong -- yeah, Joo Ji Hoon is also a model-turned-actor. Not sure if JJH & SDY were attached with the same modelling agency, 'cuz when I watched SDY being featured in 'Onstyle - Metro-Sexual' clip, JJH also appeared in a part. Anyway, I'm glad both tall & gorgeous guys were chosen to cast as lead guys, and they were absolutely great in their roles, respectively

When JJH & Yoon Eun Hye were casted in 'Goong', it seemed there were criticisms from the fans to have new faces to act as the leads. Like PD Yoon's confidence in SDY & Han Hyo Joo, the director of 'Goong' asked the fans to watch the drama first and judge them later Well, I always agree on the saying, 'seeing is believing'! kekekee... (*right, Shirley? *)

[spoiler]Hey, I watched 'Lavender' 熏衣草 quite some time ago! OMG, I still remember how I cried buckets in the last episode, especially when Ambrose was in the midst of singing & playing the guitar (oh, I luv the song very much ), and there were flashes of Tammy's critical condition at the hospital I thought their baby could survive, but I guess the scriptwriter didnt want to have similar ending as in 'God, Please Give Me More Time', yeah? (this is one of my fav J-dramas ) Ahh, I reckon you've watched Ambrose in 'At the Dolphin Bay', too?

Goshh, it's really been ages since I last watched an American series hehee... The time when 'Gilmore Girls' earlier seasons were aired on the local TV channel, I didnt get to watch it However, I've heard that it's a good series!

Elle ...... ohhh you have also watched Lavender. Me too I love the finale best though I had lost countless tears. You bet I have also seen At The Dolphin Bay ...... Ambrose, my first Taiwan Romance Idol Drama's heartthrob idol. But I love him in Lavender best. Todate Ambrose had filmed a couple of dramas, but none of them surpassed his debut drama [Lavender].

Yep ... I had also seen J-Drama "God, Please Give Me More Time" and how attractive 金城武 was in that drama. I had equally lost countless tears for this drama too.

Ohhh ...... 2 more episodes of SH/JH, EY and Philip and my thirst for the ending will be quenched. Let's keep our fingers crossed that the Director would not wrap up the drama's finale in haste ...... letting our imagination runs wild with the kind of ending we wish for. Hopefully the kind torrent contributor will post the torrent file immediately upon screening. As I have kept the downloaded files, I will be watching the whole drama repeatedly whenever I am free.

OMG hahaha Elle ep. 10 was oooooooohhhhhh....i LOVED it! I went and rewound each cute scene about three times over!!!

Aaahhh holding hands, all the staring and Jae Ha getting jealous (hehehe he's so cute!), the bridge, Jae Ha and the "chewing gum kid" talking about love, the car scene, the call with the piano (one of the most romantic scenes ever!)...aaaaaahhhh the kiss the kiss the kiss!!! Episode 10 was so lol, i'm babbling here...forgive me, I'm still in the middle of episode 11 but I feel like repeating episode 10 You were right Elle episode 10 is loaded with sweet scenes cannot wait for the other episodes. Please God let them come soon...i mean the subs.

Don't like Leena and Phillip (although Daniel Henney is cute) is annoying and Jae Ha's "parents" [the mom especially]...but nonetheless they make Jae Ha's and Eun-Young's love story even better

Auyong totally agree with what you said about the drama's finale not wrapping up in haste, since that's what I've noticed in Kdramas, well the ones I've watched they always end in such a hurry that you're left wondering (i.e. My Name is Kim Sam Soon, great drama ending left unanswered questions, and My Girl what happened to the secretary (forgot her name) and that um...guy's relationship and I would've wanted more sweet scenes between Seol Gong-Chan sshi's and Joo Yoo Rin)

aaaaaahhh I'm sincerely hoping that Spring Waltz will not disappoint, but they're all great dramas just that the endings could be better.

Hey Everyone!! My studies have died done a bit since midterms are over and final papers are almost done with. Just another 3 weeks of class and then a week of finals and summer break! I'm working on a political science paper right now...just crank out everything but the conclusion and I'll stay on top of everything!

Wow....the last episode of Spring Waltz is ending tomorrow! I hope it's a happy ending for Jae Ha and Eun Young! ELLE..I'm a tad disappointed with the kiss in 19....it wasn't passionate! Oh well...but then again, none of the seasonal dramas was known for their kiss scenes right?! Hehe...we'll leave that to SBS and MBC! Now the kiss scenes in their dramas are ....

Yes...Joo Ji Hoon and Yoon Eun Hye received a lot of criticism when they were first cast for Goong but by the end of the drama, they were praised for how much they matured on screen as Shin and Chae Kyung and off screen as JJH and YEH.

OMIGOSH....LAVENDER!! My first taiwanese idol drama and first SETTV drama!! I miss it! Cried like a baby when I watched it the first time because the ending was SO UNEXPECTED! God Please Give Me More Time is also good...and to this day, it remains to be the only J-drama I've watched entirely!

WATCH MY GIRL!!! I LOVE IT!!!

AQMFS- I HATE HATE what the show is doing to Er Qi's character! How can we NOT love him over Ya Si?! I really hope Er Qi doesn't get together with Ke Lan either....I'd rather him go off into the sunset with his son. Ke Lan should be with Fei Nan Du!

NONCONFORMIST- AHHHHH I LOVE GILMORE GIRLS!!! Check out my new signature! I totally love Logan and Rory! Best couple to hit The WB!! I hated the Rory-Jess pairing....Jess was just a jerk who I thought was way too emo! And Dean...I loved him in the beginning but once he and Rory broke up and then came back, it wasn;t the same anymore....they both changed. As for Logan Huntzberger ...babelicious! Logan and Rory complement each other and we can see that. From their first encounter in season 5 to their goodbye in this season's finale, I know they're meant for each other....and I think Logan may finally be a one-woman-man.

~ at the restaurant -- Phillip~EY met JH, LN & the ‘parents’ -- luv how JH glanced at EY
~ compact powder -- JH asked EY to wait while searching frantically for it but to no avail! Goshhh, SDY's expressions
~ umbrella scene -- JH's look was priceless… holding the umbrella & asked what was EY doing there? Ahhhh, the very first & heartmelting smile from JH to EY Whilst he bent down to shade her and held her from falling, did you notice SDY couldnt control himself from giggling? I bet there's an NG on this scene
~ JH asked EY to hold the umbrella, and vice versa, EY did to JH with her shoes. SDY’s chuckles are so addictive
~ EY’s first day reporting to work --- they bumped into each other at the doorway? Both felt so awkward & shy! heheee…
~ practice room -- EY giving JH a big lecture after he yelled at her… about how his frustrations causing the white keys of the piano turned so ‘pale’ and the black keys’ hearts got burnt
~ shopping scene -- that was hilarious!! And when they got back to the hotel, she thought he’ll help her with the bags
~ baby-sitting scene and whilst putting a night at the old couple’s place -- EY ‘warned’ JH not to cross over to her side and he sarcastically replied, ‘Don’t worry, even if you pull me over, I wont go’


Ep. 10 -- I luuuuuuuv all the scenes you’ve mentioned Ohh, you’ll also enjoy the cute interactions shared between JH and Kang Goo (the chewing gum kid) in the latter episodes!! With KG acting so adult-like, whereby JH behaving like a mischievous kid Hey, this young actor can act, huh. Is it just me… both SDY & KG -- with their big adorable eyes & unique features, make them look as adorable & huggable as teddy bears?

~ at the bridge -- ooo, he’s sort of confessing his feelings, huh? Darn LN for turning up at that moment
~ EY waited for JH at the hotel entrance to fetch him to the recording site -- she thought he'll at least compliment on how she looks so pretty that morning rite? heheee... Then, when LN got there, I'm so happy for EY when JH refused to go with LN & insisted on EY driving him to the destination
~ car scene -- never expect that mischievous act from JH!! Again, priceless expressions from SDY *drools*
~ the kiss -- whoaaa... it's sweet & beautiful *swoons*

Really impressed by SDY's natural crying skills during JH's confession to the priest Luv his emotional expressions, too, whilst he was outside EY's room and overheard her crying

Whoaaa... speaking of JH's reactions during the dinner -- another high 10! It would VERY interesting if we could get to see more of him 'fuming mad' over Phillip~EY, but sadly, that scene was the only time in the whole drama *sighs* Ohh, another part was during the music recording in the church, JH saw Phillip chatting with EY and he just stopped playing the piano! My, that was cool! Oh yesss, his cold attitude towards EY in Ep. 4, when she turned up as Phillip's gal, I would consider that as jealousy, apart from feeling 'deceived', yeah? Lastly, his curiosity of finding out if she was in the same room with Phillip at the island? If apologising to her is the only reason of calling, he could have waited till the next morning? Hmm... probably I'm thinking too much

'At the Dolphin Bay'... a lot of people fell for Wallace, but I'm all Ambrose-Angela from the start of the drama The only thing which disappointed me was when he decided to spend the few months with Penny Lin... gosshh, I felt so sad for Angela

Oh, would like to suggest another K-drama -- 'Which Star Are You From'. Although I'm not a fan of Kim Rae Won, but I'm enjoying his acting in it Storyline is also very enjoyable! Thanx to Shirley for recommending it to me in the first place! [/spoiler]



Shirley 妹妹 ... yeah, I was darn disappointed with the kiss in Ep. 19, too! Erggghhhh, the timing was sooooo right for a passionate moment between the lovebirds, and there goes the PD by directing the typical-peck-on-the-lips thingy!!! Oh pleaaaase, JH~EY are supposed to be very deeply in luv now, so how could it be more simple than the first kiss in Ep. 10??? *sighs* Well, as Spring Waltz being the PD's final seasonal series, wasnt it his intention of making SW the most memorable & romantic drama out of the four? I've to admit he's awesome by giving us lots of refreshing & sweet scenes of JH~EY, plus magnificent & breathtaking scenery, but I really have no clue why he just couldnt add more passion into the kissy plots? Aiaaaashhhh, I want to strangle him

Final episode tonite ~ I'm praying hard that the PD wont kill my hope of looking forward to a more-than-SATISFACTORY ending

[spoiler]WSRUF -- the dance near the fountain was cute I had a great laugh when Bok Sil cried her heart out at the airport assuming Seung Hui wont return after his trip to Australia, and when he told her he's only going there on a work purpose, she stopped crying immediately wOw, her acting in this drama is much more outstanding than her previous role in MNIKSS.

Zai Zai's new drama -- I just checked the synopsis... seems like a sad story, huh? Ahhh, he looks awesome with that hairstyle [/spoiler]
