Ohh, just wanna ask if you are particular with the quality/standard of Eng subs? Because I'm not sure if the sub available in the EnE version is good or not Anyway, good luck in finding the best price for the DVD set

So you're busy downloading huh and Dalja's Spring one of them. Hope you'd enjoy that one. Wish you're able to watch 'The Devil' now too so we can somewhat share our views. Actually they air 'The Devil' here late, we're on episode 3 and I think in Korea they're on ep.12 already. And yes, eventhough we're late... the good thing is there's already a subtitle which is great. You'd really have to focus on the events/scenes... there are kinda lots of characters involved so it'll be I think confusing if one would just watch it with no subtitle. This is different for me coz the k-series I had watched so far were more about love/romance. This one is kind of a 'suspense / mystery / but still with a touch of romance' story type. So far it's good... so I'm looking forward every week for it.

Joo Ji Hoon's Goong character is much different in 'The Devil'... you're like is he a good or bad lawyer in this series . And physically, he's a bit thin this time maybe because the role requires for it(??). Btw, KBS World didn't use 'The Devil' but instead the title 'Lucifer'. I've read that the ratings of this series kinda not on the top list(??). I don't know, maybe people are more interested on watching romance dramas(??). I even thought that probably it's because of the title used that maybe people wouldn't wanna watch it (at first I thought, it was a horror of some kind but I think it's not) or maybe simply because they're not interested about the storyline. Well, people have their own tastes/interests. For me, so far it's a good one, I like how the characters are being acted out... yep, a good story that would make you really think and be curious! Again, it really depends on a person's tastes or type of storyline.

And since you mentioned 'Hello! Miss' which I too am watching on KBS World (I so dearly thank the heavens for that channel). You'd see some kinda similar situations on it and My Girl and sometimes how it's being acted out. Though on the physical sense, LDH has really nice clothes and different hairstyles on H!M.

It's nice to watch an actor/actress portray different characters... you're able to see their versatility and how good they really are. I think there should be good scripts/stories out there for these actors/actresses to portray and I think it's also up to the casting directors to be able to get the right or perfect actor to play these roles. Of course, the chemistry thingy among the cast is a factor too.

I wish SDY will be casted on a good series/drama... that a really good role would come his way and be able to portray it well.

Clip 3... the only word I understood was 'Austria'! all I did was stare at him/listen to his voice. If only there's a gadget that automatically translates a language.

Clip 4... It may not be that noticeable but I think he made a slight mistake when he played 'Clementine' ...um I think he did??? (sometimes, just one mistake you'd lose your concentration... but he recovered quite well... came back... continued playing his piece and finished with a bang! He's just wonderful )


Btw Elle... [spoiler]I was just over at the LDW thread (I experience difficulty getting through that thread/the page downloads so slow, it even just hang up and stops don't know why... so I seldomly check there) didn't know he was in Indonesia promoting 'My Girl' . um, he hasn't visited there in Malaysia right? 'My Girl' already finished airing there?

THis is my first time to post in this SDY thread but I have log in everyday. I has read all post since I came back from Germany January. When SW was aired in my country I have been in abroad. After I came back I bought DVD with special feature. After seen SW now I have to see more K-series Because of SW made me to addicted. I had reviewed DVD-SW more than 10 times.That is call crazy or Virus. I also spread this crazieness to all of my friends. Thank you everyone whom gave all informations about SDY. I enjoy it very much even some of the clip I couldn't load it cuz of company filewall. Love SW, especially SDY HHJ are the most favorite of me.

Mary ... yup and he seemed so calm So sweet of the audience to show their support and shout out 'Do Young-sshi, fighting!!' before his piano performance

I'm absolutely impressed with our guy for making it a point to learn/practise the piano piece and performed live to his fans I mean, for an artiste like him whose schedule is so hectic, it's not an easy task indeed ' Moreover, after his remarkable portrayal as the professional composer/pianist in Spring Waltz, it's really a dream come true for all of his avid fans of seeing him playing the piano in real life! Kudos to Suh Do Young

Btw, he also had a duet ('Flying Petals') with the famous composer/pianist, Lee Ji Soo, during his latest fanmeet at the Tokyo International Forum, Japan on April 28, 2007. I'll upload the clip for u gals tomorrow, okie?

My DVD is original Korean soundtrack with subtitle(Thai) which deferent from VCD( I Have both DVD, CVD and CD-SW Ost). The special feature content of 3 parts:-

Part 1 - Casting Young JH and Young EY, along with Behind screen when they were young
on the Island.
- SDY and HHJ waltz dancing practiced together and behind screen of waltz dancing
after the JH concert in Salzburg until throw that Bear Sweater.
- At the Island when JH realized that EY is the one whom he have been looking for.
- At the Island that both of them stay with Grandfather. SDY n JJH were very nice to
each other in funny dreses even teams are laughing (some Joke, I wish I could
understand korean Language)
- The best one on wedding screen while JH kissed EY. SDY n HHJ were
gazing of each other. SDY was so shy. I can see from his action (scratch his
eyes)

I hope one day I am capable to load all those item.

Thank heavens coz it took me only less than 15 mins. to dl that clip!

When I watched that, I was wondering why he didn't have the tie... then I realized that I based it from the first pic I saw... so the one 'he had the tie' was in Osaka while the clip one 'without the tie' was in Fukuoka... I'm getting things mixed up! . He's been to lots of places already.

He did that 'playing the piano on air' thingy like what HHJ did . And I when he commented 'oishi' (was it 'oishi'?? that means something like 'delicious' right) about that strawberry-looking-thingy fruit he ate (what is it??).

Mmm, the surprised birthday celebration was during the latest talkshow & fan-meet held at Tokyo International Forum (April 23, 2007). It was cute when the lady host asked DY to wait when he was about to leave as he finished his thank you speech At that moment, I don't think he realised the birthday music was playing in the background.. until he saw them bringing out a cake! Awww, our guy was so touched Very happy to see DY having a marvellous time this year; whereas in 2006, he had an operation on his fractured cheekbone on his birthday itself ' Fighting Do Young-sshi!

Yeah, I find it hard to remember which photo is at which venue too since they did the same performances at Tokyo fanmeet (Apr 18), Osaka (Apr 20) and Fukuoka (Apr 23). In fact, DY wore similar attire at the 3 events. So, the easiest way to differentiate is by looking at his shirt colour ~ Tokyo (white), Osaka (violet/purple) and I assumed Fukuoka = pink. The recent talkshow at T.I.F., he wore white suit and tie Ooops, did I just make you gals more confused? kekekee...

Mary... if I'm not wrong, the lady officials whom he visited at Osaka and Fukuoka were the Governor of Osaka Prefecture and Deputy Governor of Fukuoka Prefecture, respectively. Think the D.G. of Fukuoko Pref. gave him a silk tie as a souvenir. No wonder our guy didnt wear a tie then! kekekeee... *just kidding*

Yup

During the piano duet with LJS on 'Flying Petals' at the Tokyo I.F. talkshow, DY made some errors. As expected, our cool guy managed to recover his notes very quickly again In the midst of the performance whilst LJS was busy playing on the piano, DY smiled so sweetly *swoons* when snapping his fingers and clapping his hands along with the audience! Oh, I really adore DY's good sense of humour and everything of him Well, what more do we want rite? heheee...

LJS.. a well-known composer/pianist himself, no doubt he has a huge fan-base. However, throughout this talkshow, I hope he didn't feel bad as all attention was mainly focussed on our guy
