I choos Wang Lee Hom!!! He's from Rochester(my hometown!!!) New York, He writes his own lyrics, can speak many languages, play a numerous amount of music, writes his own lyrics, he's very smart(perfect SAT score), and I like he's music a lot better.

I also love Jay too, I just like WLH better than him.

Hmm, they are both very talented. Both are good songwriters and singers. It's true it can be hard to hear what Jay is singing sometimes, but I guess that's something that makes his voice and singing so unique. I think I like Jay more because I prefer his songs. Leehom is really talented too. I don't think I can pick who's most "talented", since they are prolly better than I think they are.
But I personally prefer Jay.. (because I like his music)

Well, both of them are talented in their own ways but in my opinion, I think LeeHom is more since he's a good singer & songwriter. & it's true about Jay Chou's rapping; I can't really hear them either LOL =x But I like both of them.. so yeah. lol.

haha, I was thinking about this topic the other day---and I finally concluded I like Jay Chou better.

Jay Chou is one of the *BEST* singers out there and I LOVE all his songs! hehe, I have been listening to his songs for a LOOOOOOOOONG time now---and EACH album has all these *GREAT* songs taht I can NEVER get sick of! Although, Jay Chou mumbles when he sings---I still think he's GREAT!

Wang LeeHom, on the other hand, is another really good singer and good composer---but I realize that I don't like his songs very much. Maybe because I haven't really listened to all his songs before. Still, he only song that I actually like is the moon, star one. Sorry, don't know the name! xD That SONG is probably the ONLy one that appeals to me. hehe, I tried listening to some of his other songs---and sorry to say this, but I didn't like them. xD I don't know how to describe why I don't like the songs...but I just know that I wouldn't listen to them over and over again. MAYBE, WANG LEEHOM will GET *BETTER* someday--and then I'll reconsider who I like better.

Wang Lee Hom hands down. I think Jay Chou is terrible. He has no talent, his songs are bad. He can not sing. but that is only my opinion. i understand that there are many jay chow fans here Wang Lee Hom is multi-talented and although no all of his songs are good, at least they don't cause my ears to bleed.

I think ive already said that its very very hard to choose. Leehom's talents balances his looks. In terms of talents again, Jay has a more unique style in his music where Leehom has a good creative side on his music.

Jay constantly makes music which appeals and succeeds all the time. People always still like it even though its starting to sound repititive but hey, its the Jay Chou music style and thats what makes him popular and successful. Lee hom pushes himself to be creative and different in his music all the time which is another talent which he posseses well.

I like Jays singing more I don't like Lee Hom's songs for some reason but maybe thats just me... but i do think that Lee Hom is better looking.

Well, i notice that many of you prefer Lee Hom more than Jay Chou, but for me, i will choose Jay. Just look at Jay, he got the talent( That doesn't mean that Lee Hom doesn't have, i just think that Jay is better than Lee Hom). Even though I like Jay Chou too and he is talented but I would have to say Wang Leehom. He's just more versatile and I love his voice. Jay Chou's songs sometimes seem to be alike and it's probably just his style but that's what I think.

Althougth i like them both, but if i had to choose JAY all the way. they're really talented all around! jay pulls you into his music because he's not that good looking. people like him because of his music, not his looks. as for leehom, i got into him because of his looks, and then i started to listen to him. also i can tell his music is very americanized and that some of his music, the way he sings and the way he composed his music, it reminds of some american artists. i feel like hes not that original as jay.

Acting-ive never really seen leehom acting before besides mvs but ive watched initial d and jay did an ok job there so i cant really choose either but leehom is definitly hotter:D

Jay has much more of a bad boy image/look to me. Lee hom has a mellow image. Musically they're both very talented of course. I like them both!

Singing: I enjoy listening to Jay's songs more...so I guess I like his singing more because it's more soothing, though I think Jay can't really reach high notes. I don't really like Leehom's singing. I think it sounds a little weird.

Acting: I think just judging from past movies, Leehom could act pretty well. With his looks, I think he makes for a good leading male star. However, Jay seems very interested in the movies now, so we'll see. Just because he has good name co-stars doesn't mean he would be a good actor himself. We'll just have to see.

Improvement: I have no idea because I don't really keep track of their careers.

Appearance: I think Leehom is more like prince charming type, while Jay's appearance is the mysterious, bad boy type. Both are equally quite charming hehe. If it were me, I'll go for Jay haha.

Heroes of Earth or November's Chopin: I like all of the songs on November's Chopin, while only 4 or so on Heroes of Earth. Perhaps it's because I like slow songs more.

Singing: I can't decide. But when it comes to clarity, Lee Hom wins.

Acting: Jay. I think his acting in Initial D can be considered quite gd for a newcomer. I only seen Lee Hom in the movie with Aaron Kwok and Ruby Lin. Didn't have much of a impression of it since I watched it years ago.

Improvement: Jay. He has already started branching out into acting, directing of MVs while Lee Hom is concentrating on producing his own style of music.

Appearance: Jay. He might not be considered good looking but he have this enigmatic feel to him. And boy is he charming when he smiles. On the other hand, Lee Hom is blessed with wholesome boy's next door looks and he has been looking hot lately.

Heros of Earth or November's Chopin: I brought both albums and I have alrdy given away Heros of Earth cos I only liked a couple of songs on it. As for November's Chopin, I liked it so much that its on replay. That is until his next album comes along.

Both are talented but so different. Leehom has american culture's influence whereas Jay Chou can't sing in english. But I do think Jay Chou is better singer because contrary to Leehom, he does'nt try to copy american RnB singers. It is my own opinion.

Singing: Hmm Jay singing is very special but i still prefer Leehom cause he impressed me, he has a very good n strong vocal.

Acting: hard to say i only watch one movie with Leehom and initialD with Jay so i really dunno but i enjoyed watching Leehom cause in China Strike Force his character was very cute and funny.

I would say the both Leehom and Jay are unique. Leehom did once say that his dream was to populize Chinese music. He wants people from different countries (and of course, including different ethnicities) to understand and listen to Chinese music. I think this dream of his is really a great dream because this actually proves that Leehom has a goal in his life. Besides, I absolutely agree with him that Chinese music needs more globalizing. I guess this is the reason why he "copies" RnB singers, but in my opinion, he's UNIQUE. I don't see how he's copying RnB singers... just because he always uses English in his songs...

I think I sound like a Jay hater, but I'm seriously not much into his songs. I don't know why... but his voice gets annoying as I listen to it more. >< But I really don't hate Jay! I like him.. it's just... sometimes I can't stand him for some reason.

Singing: Wang Lee Hom. Though Jay is a talented composer and artist, I find Wang Lee Hom's singing very nice and appealing. It's harmonious and he hits every note perfectly. He's also very talented when it comes to playing instruments. Did you know he is super smart as well? he scored a perfect 1600 on his SATs.

Acting: I think that Jay's role in Initial D was not that hard to act. He had his bangs covering his eyes through the whole movie and it was hard to distinguish his emotions. It doesn't feel like he's playing a character seperate from himself. On the other hand, Lee Hom's character portrayal in the AVENGING FIST was very versatile and he showed a variety of emotions. He was fighting martial arts, bawling when his parents died, loving to his sister, cute to his girlfriend and funny in the movie.... I think his acting was great, despite it being one of his first movies.

Improvement: I think Wang Lee Hom gives 110% in his work whereas you can see that Jay's tracks are all starting to sound the same.

Appearance: Wang Lee HOm hands down. Jay's not that great when you see his whole face as suppose to the usual 50% with his long bangs and all. Lee Hom has a very nice six pack by the way.

Heroes of Earth or November's Chopin: Heroes of Earth.

Singing: I enjoy both their voices, however I would have to go with Lee Hom because Jay frequently mumbles his lyrics. It may be Jay's own "style" of singing, but in my opinion, the lyrics are just as important as any other part of a song (i.e., melody, rhythm, etc.) I would also have to say Lee Hom has a larger vocal range than Jay's and he is capable of singing a number of different genres. Lee Hom also has the extra edge on language; he can sing in Japanese, Mandarin, a little bit of Cantonese, English and some French. Pretty impressive, eh?

Acting: I've never seen any of their acting before, so I can't comment. But based on other people's comments, I think Jay will go further in his acting career.

Improvement: Definietly Lee Hom. For his Heroes of Earth album, Lee Hom travelled to various towns and areas in Asia with recording equipment so he could capture the true music of the culture of Beijing Opera, etc. Lee Hom also grew up in America and didn't learn Chinese until he was 18. (He read pinyin while recording his first few albums.) I think it's remarkable that he learned Chinese within such a short period of time and is able to compose, write lyrics and direct his own MVs and produce his own albums.

Appearance: Again, Lee Hom. I do think that Jay has some sort of charisma about him though.

Heroes of Earth or November's Chopin: Heroes of Earth. I think the meaning of the album, "Heroes of Earth" holds more meaning than "November's Chopin". In addition, Heroes of Earth has so much more diversity in genre and a right mix of upbeat songs for the fast-tempo lover and a number of ballads for those who love a slower, more romantic style.

Singing: Both of them are great singers but I favour Jay over LeeHom. Sorry LeeHom fans, but I feel integrating Chinese music with American styles doesn't always work out nicely.

Acting: I've seen initial D but not any of LeeHom's movies so I guess I can't make a fair comment here...

Improvement: My vote goes to LeeHom for this. I've known LeeHom since his '情敵貝多芬' and '如果你聽見我的歌' album and I must say he was pretty ordinary. But then in the 公轉自轉 album, he changed totally. Even his foreign accent heightened a lot, which led me to believe that he has been faking the accent all along because Taiwanese fans love guys from overseas. Well, the point is that he improved a lot and the rest is history. Jay chou has been pretty much the same since the first album...

Appearance: LeeHom with the boy next door look and Jay with the cool guy in school look. Can't really judge them for I am a guy...

Heroes of Earth or November's Chopin: November's chopin, simply because I am not a big fan of R&B and hip-hop...

Okay. They are both really good and talented in their own ways and style. But I really have to say Leehom. He is the most talented person I know, he is hot (of course) lol, he is intelligent, he is sweet, loving, caring, cute, kind, nice, and etc. To say the truth I can't understand Jay's rap neither. But anyways, they are both great and talented, its just Leehom is way better no matter what.

Wang Leehom. He has amazing range from low to very high. Jay Chou's not a bad singer but he's not the best. Sometimes i cringe to hear him hit the high notes 'cause i'm scared that he might not make it.

Wang Leehom. But perhaps just because he has done more movies than Jay because in Initial D Jay didn't talk much and his character didn't exactly require much "acting" lol~

It's hard to determine who's more talented. They are both song writers/singers and they are both capable of playing instruments. I know Leehom graduated from a well-known music school.

I personally feel that Jay Chou has better songs even though I don't like his voice. I don't really care for his rap music either but I do like many of Jay's ballads. There are only a few songs l like from Leehom but he's got other things going for him. Leehom has a better voice than Jay. He's also attractive and has good people skills. He comes off as being very approachable and down to earth. Being attractive isn't considered a talent but I'm sure it helps him build popularity among females.

If I were to judge on their music alone, I'd say it's 50/50. Jay's got a bigger number of good songs and Leehom has a better singing voice.

I'll neva forget his incomparable concert... one of the best experiences ever. He is not just a showman, but one that actually 'practices' the art of music. And to me, that is more meaningful than just a performer.

Leehom is a better role model than Jay Chou. Leehom is a very talented person and he is very good at presenting himself. Jay Chou give off the vibe of moody and doesn't want to deal with people sometimes. They are both very talented, but Leehom is better than Jay in many aspects.
