I thought I was the middle son. But apparently I have 2 older siblings - one of which died through abortion (stupid Chinese commie rule for having more than 1 child). My parents did not yet "send the soul" away. BTW, the abortion happened in 1980.

This came about when my mom went to a chinese fortune teller asking about feng shui. The teller tells my mom that our front door has 2 children standing there. 1 is my brother/sister and the other has always been in this house.

It's 1am here as I'm typing this and now I am freaked and shocked from the truth. I'm going to sleep. Good night.

Lucky im not living in CHINA.........One Child policy is abit bad but it's the only way to control China's population.

anyway i would have no idea what it's like to have a dead sibling because all my family are still alive and well.....hope nothing happen to them

yes, my mom had a miscarriage i think..dunno if it was a boy or girl? but u kno what else is weird is that..my mom has 3 other sisters n each n ever one of them also had a child that past away!! :eek:

My mom told me that I had brothers and sisters that are dead too.I didn't believe her at first but I don't know.Because my grandma wanted guys but they were girls so they killed .Really sad..

I always think if I have any bros or sisters like that and my mom never told me.
One of my uncles has 2 daughters, 1 of which died when she was around 3-4. Sometimes I think the second one is the first one, sometimes I just want to call the second one by the first name.

My mom had a miscarriage before she had me. It was a supposed to be a boy. One time, shortly after my dad passed away, a family friend who didn't know about my mom's miscarriage told us that he dreamt that my dad, grandma and a "young man" a few years older than me came to him in his dream. It kinda freaked me out. I'd never really believed in spirits or the afterlife before, but I guess I kinda have to now...

my mom was supposed to have a little sister but then my grandma got an abortion so now my mom says every single time when something goes wrong, its her sisters doing. especially when we lose things. i dont know what to believe. but oh well. that is pretty freaky about the 2 kids in front of your house >.< wahhhhhhhhh

daddy had an older sister in the family 12 years old than him. she died when she was like..5-6. anyways. no one in the family really knows about her, grandma doesnt talk about it much. but yeah, like the people in the forum, some fortune fella told my dad that there was a dead girl following him arnd. so it was...creepy and scary.

we now pray to her during hungry ghost festival. grandma actually called out her name before she died.

My mom had a miscarriage with baby no. 5 (I was the 3rd one), at that time, I think I was only about 9 years old. If that miscarriage never occured, then I would've had an extra 'living' younger bro/sis.

My mom told me I have too because they had thalassemia major (i think).. I have thalassemia too but lucky its minor.

My mom told me that I have twin older sisters but they either passed away due to sickness or got adopted a long time ago. We basically don't know what happened after they were brought to a convent.

i heard of the asking for clothes and 'being cold', my dad's nephew or my cousin died in a car crash, dad had a dream of him saying he was hungry and cold... so we got a fire and burnt some clothes and food or something... then grandma was getting poor, so we gave her money.
i dunno i heard that you burn money, clothes, food and lotsa things afta they die so they can be with them...

some are freaky!!! i mean to dream of them telling those things... *shivers*...

I found out after I got older I also have a dead brother and missing aunt who was given to orphan by my grandma.

It happened to me too when I was 8. My mom never told us, she kept this secret for so long as my other siblings didn't know or remembered too. Let me tell my part of story.
It happened on one night at 3am. I heard 3 knock on our gate at exactly 3am as our old clock got the "dong dong" sound that I don't like as it always freaked me. I thought it was so buglar/theif as our area had some and I peeked at the window that facing the gate. Wow I was brave at that time as I didn't know but only thought someone tried to steal things. It went one for few nights and I got annoyed as being woke up by the knock and told my dad. One night he heard it too and we all woke up and went to see outside but nothing there. It went on for days and one night we all sat in the hall and waited for it and rushed out and even looked in the drain but nothing at all. We were very surprised as noone can run that fast in the drain.
So my mom went to temple and pray and asked. The monk told my mom that my dead brother came back.
Then she recalled and told us that must be our passed brother. I was really surprised to know about it and wanted to know what happen to my brother. Mom told us all about it and how he passed. He was three that time. My other brother told my mom that he saw my brother's figure and he was tall.
After my mom brought him back to our ancestor table, all was settled and no more knocking.
I never knew that I had another big brother but I am so happy to know he is back home now and happy to be with us all. I wished I knew him but I know he always be with us. Even I never met him before, I can feel I miss him.

So, in (mainland) China, I supposedly had a fairly large house. I learned of it only after it burned down. This was back in January or so. :T Oh well.... Easy come easy go.

well, my mom got two abortions too...and one of them was following my brother... that's why he has such bad luck...hehe me and my mom had to go and send them away...it was two boys... I went too cause I'm the youngest and I was suposed to be aborted too... so I had to kneel down too... I don't really believe in it...I think the lady was just scamming my mom out of 500 bucks but oh well, what ever makes her happy right... cause if it really worked then his luck should have improved but it didn't...hehe

Not long ago, my parent told us that we have a older brother who died when he was young due to illness. It's very tragic for my parent talk about it. This world is very unfair. I wish he lived (if he did he'll probably be early 20th). I'll be the third child if he have lived.

I didn't have any but my mum had 2 sibling's that died at birth, 1 of have been the oldest and the other was after my oldest uncle. My mum would've had 7 brothers and sisters...

hmm i dont think its true. my aunty had a miscarriage a few years ago, when the baby was 8 months old it was a boy. but the next baby she had was a girl.

i've heard of this before as well. my boyfriend's mother had a miscarriage a long time ago before my boyfriend was born. she had a dream years ago about this miscarried daughter, so then she set up a shrine at the ancestor's table. the dreams are now no more and it's more peaceful now.

Yes, a year or two ago I first discovered that I could have a twinsister/brother. But my mom had a miscarriage (how do u write that??) so the twin died.. I still feel kinda sad about it. Because I'm the youngest in the family and I'd love to be the big sister

I used to think I had only one elder brother until one day I was flipping through my healthcare booklet and I saw my birth order as 3. I went to ask my mom and only then did I find out I actually had another elder brother but he was a stillborn He'd be abt 19 right now ... It's kinda sad and I used to think my life could have been very different had he been around but I've moved on. I've never experienced any supernatural stuff about him but I do hope he's happy in heaven.
I known of people who accidentally had miscarriages ... really depressing too. Fortunately for me, I've never seen ghosts or anything paranormal. Just as well cos I'm a great scaredy cat (horror movies can freak me out for months)

I have a half brother who died! He fell off one of those bridges in VN and drowned. I never asked my dad whether or not they actually found his body, because for some reason my whole life I've always felt like I had a connection with someone out there. And it wasn't like, I have a soul mate thing, it was like, I have an older brother, I know it. Thing is I have two half brothers, the one who died is the eldest. I know the other older brother and have lived with him but I don't like him all that much, he's irresponsible and so unlike me. I know that there are tons of little girls out there who wish for older brothers to protect them and to look up to, but I mean, my wishings for an older brother were so real. So I always think that maybe they never found his body and he's still alive somewhere. I can't ask my dad anymore whether or not they found his body because my dad died. And I don't think this is something I'd bring up with my stepmother. So I'll never know!

My mom had a miscarriage when I was only about 7 yrs old, which was very unfortunate because it made me an only child, so life growing up was very lonely for me.

if ur parents are from china, you are bound to find out about a dead brother or sister. china's one child policy is killer

If your parent don't want their children to be killed, then do not reproduced. That's all. Everywhere there's a rule to follow...

first child that my mom had died because she feel down the stairs (i know i was suppose to have a brother because she had to give birth to him my mom was abt 7 months pegnant)

I think even if your past away sibling's souls are in your house or following you, that shouldn't be necessary a bad thing! They are your family and if they are supposedly following you, you could view that as them being your guardian angel.

I was a twin and my sister died in the womb at 7months. My mom's pregnancy was not very stable and my sister passed away and I was taken out prematurely. I didn't learn about this fact until I was in grade 3...I never really felt any paranormal presence ever but I would always think about her and what kind of person she would have been (I always would think she would have been the quieter and smarter one! haha I'm quite loud... ) I know that she is somewhere watching over me.
