majority of the threads in korean entertainment talks about whose the best actor, actress, singer, shows...but i'm sure there's a few actors/actresses that we cannot stand to watch, like a villain in a show or just something in them that we just cannot seem to like.


.....up to this day when i do a rewind of full house, i have to forward the scenes whenever hye-won is in it..i just don't like her character, she was begging for love throughout the series plus the fact that she's supposed to be a fashion guru but she was a fashion disaster with all her outfits showing her bra.

.....another one is the other girl in kimsamsoon, Jeong Ryeo Won...she only had one facial expression in that show and the way she spoke english was a little overacting.

sorry to all her fans out there, but daz a fact & jz my own opinion...call me superficial but wen i watch a korean series, i expect to see attractive or at the very least above average looking actors/actresses as koreans are famed for their good looks (with or without surgery is besides the question)......granted MNIKSS was reali entertaining & had me laughing all the time, but jz the sight of Sam Soon on the screen was enuf to make me tune off ...she looks sooooooo clumsy, big sized, uncouth, unladylike, unattractive, & i couldnt stand the way she pursed her lips wen she was trying to be cute with Hyun Bin....makes her look more like a pig !! yes, she purposely gained weight for dz series & she's purposely acting unladylike because of the character in MNIKSS so i guess extra marks for her acting skills, but still, she's damn irritating !

i agree, but i didn't hate her that much. usually in korean dramas, the main lead actresses is pretty (even when she's kinda big). her plan was to lose weight, and she didn't lose any weight through the show. i thought her acting was ok, and yeah, she was irritating. but in MNIKSS, jeong ryeo won, i liked her character. she had really good english. she looked like a cute couple with daniel henney. i also couldn't stand Hye-Won in full house, her fashion sense was bad. =)

I got two: The girls from My Love Patzzi. I don't even no where to begin - couldn't stand looking at them. Is it common practice to make pouty, childish faces or do they think that they're being cute? (The same applies for the Lover's in Paris girl) They both ruined a potentially good show... well, the show really sucked too. Speaking of Lover's in Paris... what a ding-a-ling! Can you make the lead look more stupid making her ride a bike with pin wheels? Plus her hair - like the chick from Attic Cat! She's another one!

ooo! here's another: The Mama Fox on Forbidden Love. Doesn't it look like she's wearing nose clamps like she just came in from synchronized swimming? I guess I have to credit her acting skills, because she was in Spring Days, and she plays a psycho mother - which, I might add is so believable! But I still hate her.

Oh Yeah! The guy in Spring Days, not the cute one, the younger brother. I think he was in that What Happened in Bali show, which I will never see cuz he's in it. I can't stand a spoiled child! And he's supposed to be a doctor? C'mon... he's more of a liability to the hospital. How can you study to be and become a doctor and be afraid of blood? What is that about? I'd love to have the opportunity to kick his ass! Him and his mom.

Everytime that yuck chick fashionista from Full House (poor girl - seems we all hate her) would clip-clop in her high heels and dangly earrings, I'd get so irritated. How can Min-hyuk put up with that his whole life? And then she got sick - of course! because all irritating characters do! - just to showcase her acting skills of being a pathetic GIRL, who'd do anything for the guy she all of a sudden likes because he's interested in someone else... BEE-ACH!




Speaking of weird, that Only You lead actress looked strange, too.

Yeah seems like everyone don't like Han Eun Jung.. hehe... well at least i do not like her character in Full House and also her character in Wonderful Life. Those 2 characters are really similar.

i do not know why but Park Shi Eun (Chae Rin in Sassy Girl Chun Hyang) is pretty annoying too.

Although Jeong Ryeo Won's character is always in the middle of Hyun Bin and Sam Soon in MNIKSS, instead of hating her, i kinda like her.

yeah i kinda like Jeong Ryeo Won too.....altho she appeared quite selfish in the beginning, wen she tried to snatch back Hyun Bin, i was rooting for her, & pitied her for her illness....

oso, i admire her character's courage & how she tried to appear cheerful no matter how difficult the circumstances....next to samsoon's boyish character, Ryeo Won looked so much more lady-like to me....nway, its a good thing she ended up with Daniel the doc nway, he looks much more handsome to me than Hyun Bin & he treats her better too...hahah, no offense to all those Hyun Bin supporters out there...HB is reali stylish & attractive himself but i prefer the doc's type...

jz remembered another series dat i hated ....My Sister-in-Law is 19....so blah....BOTH main actors didnt look the least bit attractive to me.....sorry to all their fans out there.

but i esp disliked Jung Da Bin's acting skills....widening her eyes in every scene or whenever she's speaking to emphasize her words....gives me the impression dat she thinks her eyes arent big enuf & by doing dat she'll appear cuter...plz !

storyline was ok...but i didnt like the supporting casts too....the evil female actress looked extremely b*tchy to me, & she should have faced a bad ending....the mother to the 2 brothers had too much make-up on....& the evil b*tchy girl's equally evil b*tchy mother looked extremely slutty.

She is attractive, I'll give her that. And she's really skinny, which was required for her character. English isn't the easiest language for many, but her english skills were impeccable. But it's HOW she spoke english... can't put my finger on it, but it was so God-Blessed irritating, even when she smiled and spoke english at the same time. It's just the tone she used (like a spoiled brat). Even if I didn't see her and only heard her, she SOUNDS like a genuine b*t*h! The doctor was a sucker anyway, following her around like a puppy dog. I don't think such good looking men who are that sweet really exist... really.

I think I can name one person in EVERY series I watch who I hate so much I can really KILL them!!!

Winter Sonata - Choi Ji Woo boyfriend....HATE him so much!!

Autumn Tale - Hated Song Seung Hun's fiance...why would he want to marry her in the first place?? She was always acting ill and pathetic! And his REAL sister...annoying role, annoying actress and annoying thing/look she kept doing with her lips!!

Stairway to Heaven - Kim Tae Hee and her mother...hated them so much I wanted to torture them before I kill them!!

Lovers in Paris - the politician's daughter (supporting female) and Lee Dong Gun...man he was sooo annoying eventhough he was good looking and super dreamy!

MISA - Choi Yun after he had the car accident

Full House - Hye Won and I didn't like Bi when he kept swinging about btw the 2 girls!



There are other characters I didn't like in series but not hate to the extent that I want to kill them like Sena in Beautiful Days and Yeon Mei in All About Eve.

uhh - is that the mama fox in Forbidden Love and the mom in Spring Days? If it is, I totally agree. I really hated her in Spring Days. I just really want to punch her in the face over and over.... what a despicalbe character! Even her voice makes every muscle in my body tighten. I just finished watching that show and I am sooo disappointed that the pathetic excuse for a brother/human/man/doctor got the girl. How unrealistic is that? He's like borderline autistic who is too creative to be an analytic thinker and is a bassist in a jazz band. I went to art school and I was around spastic freaks like this... they don't belong in society. They're only supposed to come out at night, where people can ignore moody mofos like that. We're supposed to believe he finished med school without getting used to doctor-like stuff? And his brother was the shiznit! How come he didn't get the girl?! Mute girl got really stupid all of a sudden - she loves that twirp without reason? I just don't get it! I'd like to take this series, throw it in the air, and blast it with a bazooka.

Han Eun Jung - In real life I hate her too, and I don't know anything about her. I'm so bad.

hmm....chill, girl, some ppl watch TV/drama series for entertainment...not to learn a lesson fr it...notice i said "some", so not all......actually i already did some research on MNIKSS b4 watching it (i usually find out the endings of series i watch b4hand), so i knew the main theme would be how it gives hope to plain-looking gals out there dat there's still hope for them with cute/hot/nice/etc guys....as personality counts more than outer/physical beauty...bla bla.....& dat its not alwiz the beauty dat wins the guy's heart....

dat, to me is the moral of the story. its jz a story to me, i DON'T need to learn any lessons fr it as i know for a fact dat personality is a winning factor. but try telling dat to guys out there. even gals. most(not all) ppl will still tend to be attracted to physical beauty. but ofcourse in the long run, its the way the person treats other ppl that will keep frens staying....

KSA is great in the role of samsoon, she carries off the role so well, but i still dont like her. JRW's acting skills looked rather fake, but i still enjoyed watching her because well, to be blunt, she jz looks more physically attractive to me, IMO...perhaps daz a lesson we'll all have to learn, dat a lot of ppl (not all) will judge ppl with outer appearances first....

I hate the bad girl in All About Eve. Watching the character made me hate the actress too. Perhaps she simply knows how to act as a villain but I really cannot... hmm! I cannot explain. BUT.. it is all over for now.

Another one is the antagonist in Jewel in the Palace. I hate her for the role but not for who she really is.

No Offence to everyone.... I think Korean series actors&actresses really proved their skills very well. Else no one would hate the bad guys/gals & love the good ones... After going through the whole page, I kinda forget which actor or actress I dislike the most. I think the only thing to be blamed is the script writer... some series have lousy endings or mostly ending with someone sick or dying. So, far there are only 2 series which I didn't want to see, "Spring Day" & "Jewel in the Palace" and I don't even know why.. maybe it's becoz of the actors & actresses in those 2 series.

i pretty much hated all of the characters in What Happened In Bali. they had so many issues and flaws and no redeeming qualities whatsoever. as for the actors, i forgive so ji sub because he was brilliant in MISA. =D jo in sung was okay in What Happened In Bali so i didn't hate him THAT much. as for ha ji won, i don't think she's a good actress. she just annoys me for some reason.

I think Han Eun Jung's name is the most mentioned here.. i hated her character in Full House too... i was thinking, how could Young-Jae like this girl? she's not very nice + she's not even half as beautiful as Han Ji Eun...

Han Eun Jung's character in Full House irked me a lot. I can overlook the fact that she was supposed to be annoying, but the sense of style? I'm no fashion expert, but pulling a superman (read: wearing your underwear on top of your outfit or baring it for the whole world to see) is a total no-no on my book. Well, I guess it goes to show that she played her role so perfectly.

There's also something about Park Shi Yeon's character in My Girl I don't like. I'm only a few episodes onto the show, so I can't pinpoint it exactly just yet.

hahaha... i liked choi ji woo when i first saw her in winter sonata... not in beautiful days though... but when i saw stairways to heaven and read about the story... i thought to myself.."i'll pass".... but really choi ji woo is cool when making a comedy than drama...

about Han Eun Jung in full house... don't criticize her about her fashion statement in the drama, blame it on the production staff.... hahahaha... i congratulate her for being brave enough to wear those dresses... imagine.. on national tv or rather on global tv????

don't get me wrong, i also dont like her even when i watched Successful story of a bright girl... but on one of the full house clips or behind the scenes, there was this scene that i got the feeling that she was so uncomfortable wearing this dress where her bra...to quote you...was hanging out or something....
maybe the staff thought that the dresses flatter her body more... but i guess reversed the effect...hehehehe

i pity this girl... she's beautiful in her own way... when will she be given a break from being the annoying other woman???

I remember the lead guy from 18 vs. 29.. when i came across that news that he was starring in a lead role i actually smiled... i dont like him in successful brightgirl, i dont like him less when i saw him in Save the last dance with eugene.... but at least this guy has been given a break from being an annoying character to a lovable one (for me at least) or to a more annoying one (hehehe for those who doesnt agree with me...)
