Yesterday, Myolie was at the mall for the launch of her new Solo Album. Her sister and family was there to support her. With regards to the news of TVB retrenching staffs and cutting salary,Myolie said: " no choice, i will go through hard times with the company, i still have a few years of contract with TVB, and i have been busy filming dramas recently, so no time to accept other jobs as well."

Earlier on, Myolie Wu was recording a radio drama, 《 爱 ‧ 因 思 坦 症 候 群 》, for Metro radio station. In the drama, she was acting a high-school female teacher whom loved to read Japanese manga. Myolie, whom just got to know about love relationships, was waiting for the appearance of her first love, and met Vincent Wong. However, it was a pity that the role, being acted by Maggie - Metro's DJ, tried to hinder their relationship and create difficulties for them. In the end, the first love bud, which had just started to grow, between Myolie and Vincent ended because it could not pass through the setback.
Myolie felt that through acting in a radio drama this time, the most difficult part was not to use her voice to act, but rather, it was to remember the technical terms being used in Japanese manga. She said, "I've not always been in touch with Japanese manga. So during the recording, I need to depend on memory work to remember them hard and well. So there's a level of difficulty." Myolie Wu will be holding her first mini-concert in Sands, Macau tomorrow night. A few days ago, she was in a dance studio rehearsing for her dances in San Po Kong. Although they are mostly slow songs in the album which was released at the end of last month, in order to lift up the atmosphere, Myolie has arranged a fast, hot song track to fit in the dancing component.
Myolie only spent a few hours to complete the entire dance practice. She owes such a fast speed of completion to the previous time when she took part in Strictly Come Dancing. She said, "Actually part of the song had already been danced before in Strictly Come Dancing. This time, it's just changing a little, so it's not very difficult to learn. It's all thanks to the previous time of hard training for two months. It had trained me to be able to remember all the dance steps very quickly. Hopefully, in the next album, there will be more fast tracks to add into it."
Although it's her first mini-concert, Myolie doesn't seem to be very nervous. She said, "Before this, I've already danced before on TVB's Gala night. Myolie Wu's "Evolve Myolie Wu" 2008 music concert was held last night at a concert hall in Macau's Sands Hotel. A big group of fans came to support, and there were no empty seats. The concert started at 8.30pm last night. The first song that came up was 'To Grow With Love' subtheme, 'Miss Pig', which was being performed by Myolie. Yesterday, Bosco, Myolie and Freeze were present at the press conference for Metro Awards 2008. Bosco was forced to stand near his ex girlfriend from Freeze and was seated far from his new girlfriend, Myolie Wu. However, during phototaking, Bosco immediately went next to Myolie.

On Saturday night, Myolie's mini Concert "Evolve" was held in Macau. As this is her first time holding her solo concert, she was feeling very happy and excited. She expressed that before the concert, she had to practice her songs and memorize the lyrics. Then she realised that memorizing the lyrics is more difficult than memorizing her scripts because in a concert, she can't NG like what she does in dramas. Asked if the most difficult part for her was practicing the dance? She ssaid: "Dancing is not tiring and difficult, the most tiring and difficult part is..everyday, after finishing the dance practice, have to film dramas, and there is only 2 hours of sleeping time. And i was very anxious and nervous about the mini concert so i couldn't sleep every night. I have lost 5 kg. (When you are dancing, did you take the necessary precautions in case you reveal yourself?
