Ron Ng and Myolie Wu filmed a rain scene last day for new series 揟roubled Worlds? the scene speaking of Myolie抯 father being arrested by Sunny Chan, and she throws herself to the ground to beg on her dad抯 behalf, the scene being extremely emotional! To film this scene, Myolie not only had to be on the ground for six hours, but as well she even had to be poured until her clothes soaked through. To avoid catching a cold, Myolie had put on an extra layer under her costume outfit. Myolie incarnated a geisha yesterday, promoting the debute of 'Dai Oh' on September 19, during the promotion, she was carried by four Mr. Hong Kong, who wore kimono as well. When they were trying to hammer the wine bucket, perhaps the men were too strong, wine was splashed all over Myolie face, the staff immediately helped Myolie to clean up on stage.

Myolie was glad that only water was splashed onto her, if it was wine, then it may have damaged her skin. For the promotion of 'Dai Oh,' she was in Kyoto for three promotion clips in February, planning to air before the series begins. Because her schedule was very busy, and she needed to travel to Canada right after, she didn't have time to satisfy her shopping desire.

Myolie was wearing a twenty-layered kimono, about twenty to thirty pounds, which made her difficult to take every step. Myolie was also impressed with the location/scenery for the filming, with background on all four sides, unlike in Hong Kong, which usually does one side. Myolie saw many geisha during her stay in Kyoto, but was sighed about not seeing her idol Takenouchi Yutaka (ÖñÒ°ƒÈØS).

TVB management staff on hand suggested that they are not afraid to compete with ATV who are showing series of similar nature, Women's World. They are not commenting on other stations' ratings either. They believed that the series was popular in Japan, aside from the pretty background, the cost in costumes in each episodes are about two to three hundred thousand dollars, two female leads won awards from the series as well.

myolie isnt very pretty buti like watching her sometimes. she is very good at acting ou8t strong tough characters as well as cool ones. i love her in survivors law and war of in laws. i didnt really like her in the roger series but her voice was cute. her song from war of in laws wasnt bad either she sings better than i ever expected. but she is in way too many series and will tvb ever learn that too much of a good thing makes it get boring.

Myolie Wu --- Crying for Help?

Last month, an anonymous person sent a letter to TVB station regarding Myolie Wu's father involving in a money problem causing problems with others. Recently, the mysterious letter was sent to the news media, which included Myolie's family information, thus creating problems in the family. The letter contained Myolie's parents' personal information. Myolie said that she had a discussion with TVB management and the lawyers, and they all decided to contact the police for further assistance.

Myolie Gets New TV for New Home

Myolie Wu was a guest at the opening of a new electrical showroom earlier and although she has already moved into her new house, she has been busy filming and not had time to buy a new television set yet. "I have moved in, but I am still using the old 21 inch TV, where you have to stoop forward to watch. When the boss here found out, he very generously gave me a free TV. (How many inches was it?) I don't know, I hope it is 37 inches!"

With recent rumours linking her with Bosco Wong, Myolie reveals that they will be appearing on stage shows as a partnership: "At the moment, my career comes first, so I have not thought about dating just yet. After finishing filming for 'Troubled Worlds', I will be doing some stage shows with Bosco."

Myolie is one of the best newcomers of tvb. Glad she's getting promoted. I liked her the best in golden faith, so innocent. Most memeorable performance.

Methinks that she's one of the better newcomers to the HK movie industry. Quite a few others that have come before her have not really been given lead roles in recent series, and for her to have scored so many leading roles is really good for her. I've really enjoyed the varies roles she's played in the recent series aired in Oz.

A energetic young girl, there aren't any boundaries on what to wear. Myolie has an outgoing character, full of curiousity, energetic and up-beat, with lots of ideas and free to do anything, she has her unqiue thinking, knows how to follow the crowd, she is considered a confident young woman in this era.

I think she just looks fine to me. I used not to like her when she acted in TVB series that are many years ago. Recently, after watching Lost in the Chamber of Love, her acting skills has improved a lot. Her acting skills improved even more when she acted in Wars of Inlaws. She is cute and her expression is cute too.

I'm really looking forward to seeing this series because Myolie has been crying nonstop while filming for this series as told from the China fans. That is the whole point to this series anyways is her undying love for Ron. Unless, TVB makes it so tragic that everyone will die and Myo will grow old all by herself.

This past month, Myolie Wu has been in Nanjing to film for 'Gone With The Wind'. They finally finished filming yesterday and came back to Hong Kong. She expressed that during that time, she had a period where she suffered from tonsil inflammation making her lose her voice, she couldnt say anything for a few days, "The supervisor went with me to a hospital there, but when we went there, there were plenty of patients in the hallway, that scared me, thank god that I only have tonsil infection. But the doctor had told me to get my blood drawn for a check, but the supervisor and my reactions were immediately, 'No need to lah!"

Myolie also expressed that this time to Nanjing isn't really that hardworking. She had to sleep early and wake up early, and maybe will gain 5-6 pounds.

The first time I watched her was in Golden Faith. I thought that she was really retarded (her role). In this year's TVB Anniversary Awards Ceremony, Myolie Wu and Bosco Wong both obtains many nominations. One of them includes the most-focused topic, 'Best Leading Actor/Actress', but Myolie explains that she has no confidence in winning best female lead because she thinks Liza Wong's acting in War of In Laws was really good. When Myolie realizes that this year they canceled the 'best partners' award, she said, "I'm dead this time! I thought I had alot of chance to get an award too."

Recently in Nanjing filming for her latest TVB series "Tumultuous Times," Myolie has returned to Hong Kong for two weeks now. While filming in Nanjing, Myolie suffered from tonsil inflammation, affecting her voice and throat. Myolie says that probably this is due to overwork and climate conditions. Ever since returning back to Hong Kong, Myolie has had plenty of rest and even eating three meals a day. But of course, Myolie will still try to 'keep fit.' Moreover, in the new series "Tumultuous Times," Myolie plays a girl growing up in a poor family, in which filmed scenes where she fed the pigs.

I can't wait to watch her new series Lawful Attorney with Sammul Chan, I guess it is almost the same plot as Survivor's Law except that this time I really hope that Myolie will end up with Sammul because I think they make a cute couple!! They are both tall and thin... I think her acting has improved a lot since I saw her in Golden Faith and Family Man where she played small roles such as the youngest girl in the family...
