Recently TVB has been preparing for a Hong Kong version of Bridget Jone's Diary and changed the name into 《肥田囍事》. It is temporarily planned for it to start filming in May and the female lead has to gain 20 pounds to get a fat girl look!

Even though the role requires a big sacrafice, Fa Dan Myolie Wu became the lead and Alex Fong Chung Sun will be playing the role of Hugh Grant. While filming Tai Gik, Myolie especially returned to Hong Kong yesterday. She said that the TVB supervisor did mention this matter but had told her to first do good in Tai Gik, and not worry about this matter.

As with gaining 20 pounds, Myolie doesn't dare to think too much right now to avoid the pressure. This role has been fought for by many female actresses but it landed in Myolie's hands. She is very excited since she likes challenges and jokes that maybe the company chose her because she has chubby cheeks.

I originally didnt like the way Myolie looked. I loved her acting and all but there was something about her I didnt find pretty. After watching The Unforgetables episode 16 where she sings theme song to WOIL with Liza and Bosco, my mind changed. I really dig the punk outfit she had on with the trucker cap. It was actually very HOT.

Do you think she's going to keep it long? Sometimes, I think that she's better off with short hair...but now she puts it up this way...it gives me a totally diffie point of view. What do others think? should she keep he hair long or short?

I like Myo with longer hair actually. Either way, she can always pull a certain style off. It's just that I haven't really seen her with long hair ever since 5 yrs ago, so it's something new. Plus, a little change in her image isn't a bad thing.

Congrats myo on her awards. I see her carrying 2 of them, wonder if she got one with bosco? Boscolie!!! wanna see them together again, hope they won't want to avoid rumours and not act together again. I think they have all the potential to become the new 'golden couple' of tvb!

Rumors have surrounded Bosco Wong and Myolie Wu after cooperating for War of In Laws and a report even said that he flirted with her with 600 text messages. Although they have denied it themselves, when they were both promoting in Taiwan, Bosco publicly admits that he did send her 600 messages in 3 months, causing this relationship to become even more suspicious!

Yesterday both Bosco and Myolie were promoting WOIL in Taiwan and the media asked them about the 600 messages again. Yesterday Myolie Wu was at an opening for cosmetic brand Nature's store. She gave out presents to fans and citizens, causing some fans to even scream.

In June, Myolie will start filming for her new series, which will require her being fat. It is noticable that she is currently bigger in one size and her chest has been bigger than before, which also mistakens people into thinking she is purposely 'showing her points'. But Myolie thinks she is still not fat enough, "Before I was 108 and now I am 120 pounds. All the fat went to the waist and butt areas. Yesterday Myolie Wu attended the 《樂施會中國發展基金2006》 fund. Earlier as an ambassador, she went to the Guizhou countryside to visit the local doctors and the sick villagers. Myolie, who is working hard on gaining weight for a new series, worries that her blood pressure might be high and immediately looks for the village doctor there. But luckily, everything is normal. Because of excessive fatigue, she had slimmed 3 to 4 pounds. Therefore she expressed that she will temporarily stop all work and focus on gaining weight.

I watched Survivor's Law only recently (I know.. what planet was I living in?) and thought I will be neutrel towards the Rayolie pairing because I am a die-hard Boscolie fan. But man was I wrong!
The chemistry between Ray and Myolie was so good and I can't wait for Tai Gik to come out now. I heard there will be alot of intense emotional scenes btween Ray and Myo in there. So looking forward to that!

yah, sweetypie.. I know exactly what you are saying! They are so cute together and so adorable. I've watched alot of interviews and seen pictures of them together and I can tell that they are so comfortable with each other. Not only is their on-screen chemistry awesome, their off-screen chemistry is something I found amazing. (did anyone see the chinese new year in-promptu dance they had to do, OMG, it was hilarious!!!! Both Bosco and Myo couldn't even keep their back straight from laughing!!





As for Raymond, I haven't come across too much of their off-screen pictures together and although the ones I had seen haven't really yelled "cute" like Boscolie, their chemistry in Survivor's Law was impecable! The fact that Ray is a good actor also helped I think.. hihihi.. I guess Ray is the more mature type of man and Bosco is just more bubbly

I still would love to see a love triangle though... hahahhaah

Actually, if you think about it logically, the chances of another Boscolie series is pretty high; especially since they're so popular right now ^^, and if TVB is nice enough to let them create even more sparks despite the rumours, then they'll probably be paired up again some time soon.

Another reason for a Boscolie pairing: Myo's co-stars have always been "circulating"/switching in some kind of order, so the audience is not bored with the same pairing over and over again... so here's my analysis :

Since WOIL with Bosco, Myo's been/will be paired up with:
* Sammul in WRTL
* Ron/Sunny in the upcoming WAD
* Raymond in Tai Gik
* Andy Hui (and maybe Kevin/Moses - I'm speculating) in BJ's Diary

ur right hkangel! Myo has always been paired up with a different costar ever since she debuted! The only repeat is finally Rayolie, although they've only paired up in 2 series: SL and TG. And since their last cooperation was in 2003, it'll definitely be a FRESH pairing again and not to add, Myo also likes ZWZ in TG, so there'll be new sparks there.

I think a Boscolie series is a definite guaranteed, not sure if TVB will pair them up again soon or later in the future. I'm hoping for Kevin/Chilam/Moses for the other lead in BJ Diary though

When Myolie Wu and Bosco Wong arrived at Taiwan to promote War of In laws, they were continuously asked about the love sparks while they filmed the series. Myolie has definitely gained some weight even though she has been covering up alot. She said she wanted it to be a surprise for the audience when they see her.
But you can definitely see that Myo's face has gone chubbier.. she is now cuter as ever.

But summer is approaching and she will have to be all covered up...oo, that really is a bother. Myo is just so professional.

Myolie Wu's singing praised by Mark Lui and Justin

Two days ago, TVB's "All About Women" was released and the original 10,000 copies that were released were sold out. Because of good sales, top TVB official Lok Yi Ling immediately called Myolie Wu, Linda Chung, and Vivien Yeo to a press conference to reveal that more copies will be released for sale.

With the sales being high, Lok Yi Ling is very happy. She further says Paco contacted her and says he is happily suprised. Also, composer Mark Lui say Myolie sings well and even Justin has praised her. Probably due to the weight she has gained she has more "air" to sing. Lok Yi Ling further states that they are in the process of helping Myolie and Bernice release their own individual albums but, because they are currently filming new series, it will be a while before their albums are released.

im crazily in love with her rite now. i alr watched series with her inside long time ago, but neva really have a crunch on her, eg. golden faith, survivor law. but after i finished watching triumph in the skies...i really like her. she can act well. she has a nice smile. cant wait to watch woil
